WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Innovations

Lead Network meetings and land on-going innovations OTIF  
Elaborate and execute a 100-day launch plan for these new products.
Follow up on existing innovations: tracking against BC, MS, distribution, EPOS, OSA, pricing vs competition.

Consumer & market knowledge  

In-depth consumer & shopper understanding (through MS analysis, consumer visits and trade visits & monthly sales + distribution reports analysis)
Translate numbers and on ground observations into actionable opportunities that will help us win in the market.
Rigorous tracking of consumer and trade pricing on GT and MT channels
Rigorous tracking of competitors activities in the market and adapt plans while bringing added value thru best practices.
Explore new demand spaces that can differentiate vs competition.

S&OP process   

Full attendance and ownership of the S&OP meetings for Oral Care, to deliver FY flexible goals.
Drive discussions and alignments with relevant stakeholders (mainly CCD, Demand planer, production planer & finance) and give full clarity about the cycle’s output in terms of variance and financial impact.  
Lead Kenya in terms of consolidation and reporting of all the changes/ impacts on the P&L, coming from all subcategories.

Promotions & activations

We have a resource dedicated for this job, but each ABM is responsible of the strategic planning of promotions as well as ensure a high standard execution that will help us win in the market.
Similarly for activations, the ABM is responsible of planning activations that fits with the brand’s strategy and purpose and ensure that the right scale and execution are in place vs competition.
In this task specifically, the ABM will also need to have the ability to manage a resource with full autonomy.

Experiences & Qualifications

2+ years classic brand management experience in an FMCG environment.
Business management and brand development experience an added advantage.
