    Roles And Responsibilities

    Receive and process requisitions from different user departments including confirmation of budget approvals.
    Sourcing and Pre-qualification of suppliers and ensuring SunCulture has a lean supplier base.
    Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and office supplies with reduced risk and ensure the security of supply.
    Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures in line with PPA.
    Establish and manage all vendor relations
    Represent the interests of the company in all supplier negotiations, ensure the company gets the best deals that project the best value for money, set up, and manage supplier contracts.
    Manage the process of supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and selection
    Work with finance to process purchase orders.
    Ensure all procurement transactions are properly documented and records filed
    Receiving commodities and processing invoices through the finance department.
    Expediting orders and ensuring goods are delivered on time with the right quality.
    Creating a process around procurement across all departments in the organization, in conjunction with Finance and Operations.
    Conduct value chain and total cost analysis on various sourcing options (eg. local vs. International, centralized vs. Decentralised) on high-value purchases, from time to time, and advise the management on the best sourcing strategy to adopt.
    Conduct market surveys regularly to ensure the company is getting supplies at the most competitive rates and the goods supplied comply with industry standards.
    Developing a procurement plan for the organization and managing implementation.
    Monitor the consumption of goods and services at the organization and make proposals to the head of operations on possible cost management options.
    Any other  duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the line manager

    Record all error logs on dispatches and troubleshooting them
    Proactively follow up with IT on Appsheet/Power BI and ensure the sales Funnel is in line with orders released
    Receive and dispatch orders whenever required
    Oversee the Re-routes of units and track the delivery status of products with service providers & update customers accordingly
    Coordinate & update Dispatch tracker with the IT team on a daily basis
    Inform field units about orders and traffic flow

    About the Role 

    Reporting to the Head of Credit, the ideal candidate is responsible for collections of defaulted portfolio, racing & recovery of all Sunculture assets assigned on credit but defaulted, issuance of Demand letters in the field  & initiation of repossession rights on all non-performing credits above Sunculture’s Payg credit policy guidelines.

    Contact defaulting customers either by calling or visiting them with an aim of negotiating a settlement of the arrears.

    Identify and escalate deceased or disabled customers to Head of Credit for review or collection termination.
    Ensure all work queues are acted upon.
    Conduct field visit assessment before visiting the market areas.

    Conduct monthly reporting as per portfolio performance on delinquency.

    Knowledge and skills for the Role

     At least 3-6 years’ work experience in debt collection in microfinance or such organization
    Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and processes in microfinance and credit collections  environment or any other financial institution

    About the role

    SunCulture is looking for an enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to head the engineering team. S/he should be tech-savvy with the ability to work with online systems and CRM software. S/he is motivated and constantly looking to learn and do more to support the team through ensuring SunCulture’s mission and vision is attained. The Engineers Operations Coordinator core is to drive results through others and ensure All set KPIs are attained month on month. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Operations Roles

    Ensure the engineer’s team leads allocate a minimum of 2 tasks per day and that the individual worksheets are updated daily.
    Ensure engineers attain the set KPI’s in terms of Installation, customer product training, turn around time, and aftersale services.
    Follow up with the team leads to ensure engineers contact all clients within 24 hours of role client being assigned to them and the preferred date of installation is updated into the system
    Crosscheck and confirm that the teams’ individual worksheets are filled ie details on the date of installation and date of completion should be filled in.
    Ensure all pending installations are completed within a month and follow-ups are made on cancellations as a result of the client’s unavailability.
    Ensure all dispatches are shared with team leads within 24 hours after data is shared 
    Ensure the accuracy and  visibility of  all tasks assigned  to engineer on Power BI 

    Work Reports

    Daily check in  to ensure team leads have assigned tasks and pending JSF have been synced into the system
    Verify and submit all claim forms sent by the team leads for payment, highlighting irregularities, and ensure all are submissions are done before 3 PM every Monday.
    Submitting a detailed monthly report indicating work progress, challenges, and highlighting the risks.
    Use data to drive performance, increase productivity, and do proper planning to ensure efficiency at all times.

    Leadership and Team Management

    Work closely with the team leads to align work plan and communicate any hiccups faced
    Build a culture of high performance and collaboration among the team members

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead, the Field Engineer be involved with and not limited to carrying out Technical Surveys, conducting SunCulture product installations and aftersales. He will also be a pioneer of product knowledge and troubleshooting when it comes to the innovations of SunCulture products to our customers. 

    Responsibilities

    Project Management  

    Undertaking Site visit for pre-feasibility and Feasibility site information collection and analysis.
    Contacting clients to set preferred dates and installing the products within the set timelines.
    Proper time management to ensure all projects assigned are achieved within the timelines set

    Risk Management

    Be very proactive in identifying job risks during installations, resolving them, and reporting to the team leads 
    Communicate and mitigate any risk factors that are encountered in the field by various engineers.

    Additional Roles & Responsibilities

    Carrying out technical surveys and submitting the reports) to the engineering team leads
    Designing irrigation systems, conducting installations, and providing after-sale services for SunCulture products
    Mentoring and in-field training of new engineers

    About the Role
    As Head of Credit you would  primarily be responsible for  SunCulture’s customer financing strategy and the execution of this strategy by building and managing a competent team that will execute the  strategy; fine tuning the systems and process are in place for better execution of the strategy; managing and reporting  potential credit risks; and assessing options for financing the Company’s customer loan portfolio.
    Key Responsibilities
    Manage the expansion of the Company’s PAYG customer finance offering
    Evaluate the existing PAYG portfolio and use the learnings to design the expansion of the Company’s PAYG offering
    Partner with the CFO to optimally finance the Company’s PAYG offering
    Manage and then report on the progress of the expansion of the PAYG offering, using the results to further expand the offering and bring it to full commercialisation
    Liaise with the Company’s legal counsel to optimize and implement improved PAYG contracts
    Ensure compliance with national regulations and customer protection legislation in each relevant jurisdiction
     Set up a fully commercialise PAYG Portfolio
    Refine the robust customer credit assessment evaluation process in place
    Optimise the organisation’s credit systems and processes in line with the lessons learnt from the existing operations with the objective of minimising the loss rate, minimising bad sales, and optimising collections
    Define and manage the organisation’s credit KPIs, develop dashboards as well as reports required by the board and senior management
    Partner with the COO to refine the IT systems to deliver the above objectives
     Manage the organisation’s credit risk
    Build financial models that predict and help manage the organisation’s credit risk exposure
    Oversee all audit and internal control operations, ensuring strict credit risk controls are in place & adhered to
    Coordinate all external audits relating to the customer financing function and ensure recommendations are implemented
    Team Management
    Build, inform and act as an ambassador for the organisational culture, i.e. bring the fun to work
    Scale up a team to manage the credit and risk systems and processes such as origination, lending, debt collection and repossession, with support from the HR Manager
    Manage the performance of the credit team in line with agreed KPIs
    Identify and develop the training required to contribute to the professional growth of the team
    Does this sound like you?
    Degree in Finance, Microfinance, Economics, Credit Management or any other related field
    3 to 5 years’ experience in the rapid growth environment, i.e. building a new integrated systems in collaboration with other teams
    Consumer finance and credit risk experience (particularly in the PAYG segment) and assessing complex data sets to optimise credit performance
    End user asset financing experience in developing countries; experience financing farmers or solar power for low-income consumers will be an advantage
    Able to represent the credit function at C-Suite and Board level, with the communication skills required to communicate complex messages to a wide variety of audiences
    Experience of building and managing operational credit teams
    Proficient in financial modelling and credit analysis
    Strong analytical skills and strategic thinker with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
    Willing and able to make and execute hard decisions – own the process, the strategy and the final outcome
    Able to manage a variety of large tasks with competing timelines and priorities
    Enjoy being in the field, but also able to work strategically with the other senior executives
    Proficient in Excel formulas  and data analysis, Powerpoint presentations as well.
    Ability to simplify complex data and concepts into widely digestible and understandable content
    Able to work under pressure, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast evolving organisation, able to to plan, be organised and meet deadlines
    Proactive, collaborative, organized, curious, problem solver with “can-do” attitude
