    JOB PURPOSE:  
    To provide efficient services in the delivery and collection of letters and parcels on behalf of the organization as well as facilitating transportation of staff and authorized visitors on official duties.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Transport RCK supplies, properties and staff safely and securely to Nairobi and other regions in Kenya as may be required.
    Ensure proper management of the assigned motor vehicle so that no damage is caused to the motor vehicle due to negligence/recklessness.
    Ensure that motor vehicles are well maintained and clean at all times by washing both the inside and outside parts of the motor vehicle.
    Carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are mechanically sound. Any electrical and mechanical faults must be reported to the supervisor for repair.
    Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate times, as well as refuelling.
    Report any case of accident, injury or damage of vehicles to the supervisor.
    Maintain a motor vehicle travel log, record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours
    Dispatch parcels, letters and other documents to their rightful destinations as assigned and maintain accurate log of all parcel deliveries and collections.
    Physically strong to lift heavy loads when required.
    Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
    Ensure compliance to proper traffic rules governing road usage in towns.
    Running errands for RCK as allocated.
    Such other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your grade.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    Secondary Education plus 2 years’ minimum relevant experience.
    Must be a Kenyan National with valid identification Documents.
    Posses a valid clean driving license (preferred) with AA certification for class B and current certificate of good conduct.
    In-depth knowledge of routes within the regions in which RCK operates. Good geographical knowledge of Nairobi and its environs.
    Ability to communicate effectively in English and Swahili.
    Must be a safety conscious person.
    Should have basic knowledge of mechanical skills
     Must be a RESIDENT OF KAKUMA.

    Working Conditions
    Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel occasionally. The job may sometimes require long hours.

    To provide psychosocial support to the organization  on issues relating to and affecting the refugee community.
    REPORTING LINES:

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Offer psychosocial counselling to refugees at RCK’s Legal Aid Clinics, Dadaab Law Courts, and Police Stations upon instructions by the Supervisor;
    Conduct Case management and conducting follow up refugees and asylum seekers and while making relevant consultations with the programme;
    Offer short term therapeutic services to refugees, other forced migrants and host community in individual and group settings;
    Update and manage the client databases.
    Produce weekly and monthly statistics and reports while contributing to the development of legal services.
    Assist in organizing and facilitating psychoeducation sessions with the community members
    Conduct home visits to assess individual psychosocial needs;
    Assist in the day to day office administrative duties.
    To take part in RCK functions as may be specified from time to time.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    Diploma in counselling studies from a recognized university or a Diploma in Social work and Community Development(KNEC)
    Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology is an added advantage.
    Proficiency in English and Kiswahili. Somali is an added advantage

    JOB PURPOSE:
    Contribute to the achievement of RCK mission to protect and promote the rights of refugees and other forced migrants by influencing polices, systems, structures and practices of the Government and actors through lobbying and advocacy.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsible for driving, managing and coordinating the day to day operations of the RCK Advocacy, Policy Development and Governance (APDG) Programme, ensuring its effective and efficient delivery, as well as lead and represent the Programme in all RCK activities;
    Proactively set the RCK advocacy agenda by identifying human rights protection and governance gaps relevant to RCK strategic interests and preparing concept papers detailing a plausible plan of action for internal consumption and/or dissemination to strategic partners;
    Conceptualizing research on key strategy documents, policy advocacy and governance and practice issues in the sector and advising the Executive Director accordingly;
    Provide guidance and thought leadership on all policy advocacy and governance developments relevant to RCK’s work;
    Develop strategies for influencing the practices, systems and policies of the Government, NGOs, UNHCR and regional bodies such as the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the African Union (AU) so as to improve the welfare of refugees and other forced migrants;
    Establish strong links and partnerships with refugee host Counties for the welfare and rights of refugees and host communities;
    Develop and manages a rapid response function to act in a timely and effective way to the violation of rights of refugees’ and IDPs;
    Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant Government agencies, UN agencies and non-governmental organizations to improve coordination in advocacy efforts and harness synergy; 
    Take a leading role in lobbying and advocating for rights of refugees and IDPs in Kenya in partnership with partner agencies and other programme officers in RCK;
    Strengthen lobbying and advocacy capacity within RCK particularly in the field offices;
    Prepare fundraising proposals for the Advocacy, Policy Development and Governance Programme;
    Participate in RCK fundraising initiatives, preparation of project proposal and budgets as well as programme reporting;
    Work closely with the Senior Programme Officer for technical guidance and support;
    Perform any other duty as assigned by the Senior Programmes Officer and/or Executive Director as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your grade.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    Degree in Social Sciences, International Development or related field
    Postgraduate qualification preferred
    Minimum of three years’ experience delivering similar or related programmes in the Human rights and NGO sector.
    Knowledge of regional and international instruments relating to refugees, IDPs and general human rights.
    Ability to organize, facilitate advocacy workshops and write good reports
    Experience in proposal writing, programme management, monitoring and evaluation
    Ability to research, analyze and write policy briefs/ policy papers
    Demonstrated keen interest in refugee and host community policy and governance issues
    Ability to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili
    Should be a team player and capable of Working in an intercultural environment, creative and innovative.

    Provide legal representation to refugees especially unaccompanied and separated minors, GBV survivors in court, in police stations and child protection cases.
    Prepare responses to enquiries on legal issues on laws relating to refugees and other forced migrants from RCK staff, governments, inter-governmental organizations, institutions, and the public.
    Participate in capacity building of RCK’s stakeholders in relation to domestic and international laws that relate to refugees and other forced migrants.
    Develop and maintain a database of and relations with internal /external referral partners.
    Update and manage the client databases.

    Support the development of proposal for fundraising for program work.
    Assist in coordination and carry out program budgetary and administrative tasks.

    JOB PURPOSE:
    Under supervision of Finance and Admin Officer, s/he will be in charge of procurement as well as support human resource and office administration functions.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Project Associate, Procurement / with some human resource and admin functions will liaise with the project and programme officers to determine organization purchasing and logistics needs based on project specifications.
    Ensure procurement best practice is followed using the detailed guidelines provided in the RCK’s Procurement Manual SOPs.
    Receive and review procurement requests and initiate procurement procedures for RCK equipment, supplies and services in a transparent and cost effective manner.
    Assist with the preparation of Request for Quotation, Initiations to Bid, Requests for Proposal and co-ordination of their timely dispatch, in consultation and collaboration with the relevant project and or programme officers.
    Filing, invoicing, record keeping, following up payments, order disbursement and distribution, responding to inquiries, quotations.
    Maintain appropriate records such as vendor quotes, purchasing requisitions, purchase orders and reports to ensure that procurement process decision, and contractual agreements are accurately documented for accountability and audit purposes.
    Assist in any internal and external audits and the maintenance of a running list of previous audit recommendations and the status of their implementation.
    Maintain regular contact with contracted suppliers to monitor adherence to delivery period according to the terms of procurement agreement.
    Preparation and sharing of procurement reports with the management team once the process is complete.
    Assist HR in revising and updating job specifications/descriptions for various positions within the organization.
    Assist the HR Officer in drafting of written reports, memos, letters, and policies.
    Assist in developing long lists of applicants, planning for interviews and responding to unsolicited applications.
    Assist HR during the drawing of new staff contracts and annual renewal of contracts.

    JOB PURPOSE:  
    Responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining cash controls, posting accounting entries, maintaining accounts and ensuring proper implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    Manage cash flow for Kakuma sub-office including transfers from the main office, payments and staff disbursements.
    Account for RCK assets in Kakuma and ensure up to date records including periodic asset verification reports are in place.
    Verify all supporting documents for authenticity before entering them in the accounting software system.
    Posting of Journals as directed by the Finance & Administration Officer.
    Ensure all suppliers and RCK liabilities in Kakuma are paid in good time.
    Ensure that high quality donor reports for Kakuma are provided in a timely manner.
    Charged with ensuring compliance to donor and statutory obligations for Kakuma sub-office.
    Accounting for all staff advances given in the Kakuma office and also for ISD functions and events.
    Participate in internal and external audits for the organization as well ensuring that all the requirements for Kakuma sub-office on the same are provided on timely basis and free of errors and mistakes.
    Support the Kakuma Programme Manager in administration work eg. office logistics, Flight bookings, staff welfare issues, leave management, asset insurance etc.
    Support the Finance & Admin Officer in preparing monthly, quarterly, year-end reports and any other donor reports. Ensure that Kakuma Sub-office submits the same reports for consolidation with the RCK Nairobi office, in a timely manner.
    In charge of filing of finance and admin documents for Kakuma Sub-office.
    Ensure implementation of accounting policies and procedures in Kakuma sub-office
    Induct and train other staff on finance and admin matters.
    Assist in other general duties as allocated by the supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Finance, or related course from a recognized university
    Qualified Accountant (CPA).
    2 years’ experience with a similar size organization in industry, or from practice.
    Knowledge and experience in use of accounting software packages.
    Experience working with I-tax, NHIF byproduct, and the NSSF portal.
    Proven experience in a fund-based accounting work.
    Working knowledge MS Office with an intermediate level of knowledge of Excel.
    An ability to write clear and concise reports; very good spoken and written English.

    Provide support to social workers in the tracking of cases and maintaining records and database of clients.
    Assist in the day to day office administrative duties.
    Ensure professionalism in services delivery and ethics while performing other duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE **

    Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology.
    Must a registered member of Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association (KCPA)
    Two years’ experience with NGO or related environment is an added advantage
    Strong analytical and report writing skills
    Proficiency in English and Kiswahili
    Good team player with excellent multi-cultural interpersonal skills able to exercise diplomacy, flexibility and assertiveness.
    Technology Awareness. Fully proficient computer skills and ability to use relevant software applications, in particular information databases, internet/intranet services, library sources etc

    WORKING CONDITIONS: **The Job is complex, sensitive and stressful. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel. Work may require frequent weekend and evening work as well as high degree of autonomy

    RCK PURPOSE: To safeguard and protect the rights and dignity of forced migrants and host communities through provision of legal aid, psychosocial support, advocacy, capacity building and promotion of inclusive governance. We envision an environment where forced migrants and host communities access rights, justice, protection, and durable solutions.
    JOB PURPOSE: To provide psychological first aid to the persons of concern including refugee/asylum seekers and host communities, particularly survivors of sexual and gender based violence, and other clients in the locality and at police stations per the terms of reference and guidelines.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    To provide counselling and carry out other immediate interventions on cases and/or gathering the necessary information and referring the matter to RCK.
    •Submitting weekly counselling reports.
    Conducting case interviews and obtaining biographical and demographical information on refugees and asylum seekers as instructed by the Assistant Programme Officer.
    Identifying vulnerable clients and referring the cases falling within RCK’s legal and psycho-social mandate.
    Accompanying vulnerable clients to different areas such as the police station or court where there is need.
    Participating in ongoing projects in the other programmes, such as the advocacy capacity building workshops.
    Doing home visits from time to time as instructed.
    Mobilizing the community for mobile legal aid clinics and other community activities.
    Participating in RCK’s legal and awareness forums and disseminate information to other refugees and asylum seekers in the community.
    Carrying out any other duty as may be advised from time to time.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    A high school certificate. Knowledge of English and Kiswahili is an added advantage.
    Must be a resident of Eastleigh, Kitengela, Mihang’o/Njiru
    MUST BE A REGISTERED REFUGEE WITH A REFUGEE ID CARD
    Must have community leadership and mobilization skills.
    Added advantages include a certificate or diploma in social work or counselling.
