    Summary of Role:  
    Leads cost proposals and manages all the financial aspects of an award. Provides financial consulting and strategic support to leadership and Presidents of Asia and Africa. Analyzes figures and implements recommendations based on the findings. Provides financial support to country offices and project staff regarding management of financial, budgetary, and contractual issues. Reviews and processes all cash requests and manages cashflow for all our country offices.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Award Administration: 

    Leads the monitoring of key financial indicators and project spending for Pathfinder
    Reviews and approves donor required invoices and financial reports in accordance with awards terms and
    Reviews budget revisions for existing awards.
    Provides budgetary review for sub-awards and project related procurement.
    Contributes and assists in preparing management response to project specific financial audits.
     Participates in the day-to-day oversight of Pathfinder’s project financial performances.
     Monitors and analyzes key financial performance indicators for awards in all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
    Leads the design, implementation, management and monitoring of award systems and processes.
    Ensures financial management of Pathfinder awards complies with Pathfinder policies and procedures and applicable donor rules and regulations.

    Budgeting:

    Collaborates with country offices and Director of FP&A to ensure that all budgets and budget forecasts are developed.
    Leads and prepares budgets, budget narratives for cost proposals in compliance with donor requirements and Pathfinder policies. Reviews country office annual budgets.
    Works strategically with Global Compensation on country extraordinary economic conditions to find short-term and long-term solutions.

    Leadership:

    Collaborates with key stakeholders, including Country Finance Directors, Country Directors, and global staff to ensure efficient, effective financial management of Pathfinder awards and offices.
    Liaises with Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and CFO on financial management issues related to Pathfinder awards and offices.
    Leads, manages, or participates on cross-functional project initiatives.
    Works with country offices to improve financial management capacity of staff.
    Works with implementing partners to improve financial management capacity.

    Supervision:

    Recruits, hires, develops, and directs the activities of professional accounting and support staff within the department. 

    Required Education and Work Experience:

    Bachelors in accounting or finance
    10 years’ experience with developing complex budgets.
    10 years’ project control experience at a government contractor or a directly related field such as financial analysis, finance, accounting, pricing, or contracts.
    Experience assisting Project Managers or other Program Leaders
    Fluent in both English and French language
    Financial Acumen: Mastery of skills with financial statement analysis, business case modeling, financial forecasting. Deep knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles.
    Strategic Planning: Mastery of strategic planning skills. Proven ability to forecast issues in advance, to prevent or mitigate potential impact, both internally and externally.
    Process Tools: Ability to develop and apply tools to support the finance function.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Senior Program Officer

    Summary of Role:  
    Pathfinder is currently seeking highly motivated applicants to serve as a Senior Program Officer for the USAID-funded MOMENTUM (Moving Integrated, Quality Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Family Planning and Reproductive Health) Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) project. MIHR is led by IMA World Health, with Pathfinder International, African Christian Health Associations Platform (ACHAP), Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere (CARE), GOAL USA FUND, and JSI Research and Training Institute. MIHR is a five-year global project working in fragile settings to strengthen quality maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), voluntary family planning (FP), and reproductive health (RH) care and service delivery, to reduce maternal, newborn, and child mortality and morbidity and increase the health resilience of families, communities, and nation-states.
    The Senior Program Officer will provide project management and technical support to Pathfinder-led MIHR country programs, as well as Pathfinder’s portfolio on the MIHR project more broadly. The Senior Program Officer will provide overall program management during the full project lifecycle by establishing or supporting sound project and program management practices to ensure successful outcomes. For the assigned countries, this individual must understand the country context, technical design, day-to-day implementation, and results of the program and be able to provide information on these at any given time. The Senior Program Officer is responsible for coordinating all consortium partners working on the assigned country program(s), manages the Country Support Team (CST) for those country program(s), and coordinates responses to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) questions and issues regarding the implementation of the program. The Senior Program Officer is in regular contact with the Chief of Party (COP) for each country supported, MIHR Country Support Lead (CSL) and other program and technical staff on the CST. The Senior Program Officer will also provide general programmatic and administrative support to Pathfinder for the implementation of the MIHR project.
    This position is expected to contribute to the development and monitoring of project workplans, budgets and tracking of project spending. The Senior Program Officer will also work with a multi-disciplinary team and may serve as the Pathfinder spokesperson on behalf of the project to promote the project goals, achievements and strengths to key stakeholders. The Senior Program Officer will collaborate with other members of the project team to ensure that deliverables meet the needs of intended populations ensures that the project team draws on state-of-the-art knowledge and practices in the areas of family planning, reproductive health, gender, and youth.
    This position is open to candidates from all countries listed in this posting; however, please note that the selected candidate will be part of a largely US-based team and will be expected to have some flexibility in terms of hours to align with team meetings and urgent deadlines, as needed.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Support Program Implementation: 

    Maintain regular communications with and provide continuous program and management support to the COPs for assigned country programs.
    Lead the development and coordination of country strategic and annual workplans, including country scoping/planning visits, mobilizing technical, program, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) and finance team staff and guiding their contributions.
    Monitor program implementation and completion of deliverables against approved workplans.

    Financial Management:

     Keep Country Support Lead informed of funding or partner issues that cannot be resolved and work with her/him to resolve them. 
    Partner with the finance staff to develop, monitor, and analyse expenditures vs. budget and submit regular pipeline and accruals reports to the Prime.
    Ensure that project budget projections are accurate, and expenditures are properly tracked. Ensure relevant financial management guidelines are followed.
    Manage procurement process, serving as the point person for the country programs.

    Knowledge Management:

    Coordinate with MERL and country teams to develop and submit performance management plans (PMP) and monitor program data to inform program performance against expected deliverables and targets, as outlined in the PMP.
    Support countries in knowledge sharing efforts, including adapting guidance, developing knowledge products using templates and other tools provided by the KM and communications teams, and sending knowledge products developed by country programs to the KM team for internal dissemination.

    Staff Management:

    Monitor and support the recruitment process for MIHR field staff.

    Summary of Role:  
    The Senior Technical Writer leads the process of writing technical materials that analyze, articulate, and support business development, as well as organizational learning and dissemination of Pathfinder’s implementation experience, technical strategies, and impact. They will contribute as a leader in the organization by identifying and responding to strategic opportunities to enhance technical visibility and provide writing support to proposals to a wide variety of donors. This position will primarily focus on support to Francophone countries, including conducting meetings in French and translating key documents, as needed.  However, given the global nature of the role, this role will support across Pathfinder’s portfolio of countries, as needed.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Technical publication development: 

    In partnership with relevant content owners, develops, writes, edits, coordinates, and disseminates technical publications, including technical briefs, learning briefs, case studies, and peer-reviewed journal articles. These documents aim to share programmatic experiences and evidence, formulate implementation lessons and recommendations, support business development, and position Pathfinder as a thought leader in SRHR.
    Works closely with the team to support the dissemination of technical publications.

    Proposal writing:

    Collaborates with the Business Development and Country teams to develop and write sound technical responses to donor requests for proposals/applications.

    Summary of Role:  
    This position plays a critical role in the diversification of Pathfinder’s funding by developing and executing direct marketing strategies for sustainable growth across several Pathfinder donor categories with a focus on email marketing. Ensuring that Pathfinder maintains – and grows – a robust base of individual support will better position the organization to meet its mission.
    This role will partner with Individual Giving and Communications colleagues to analyze, test and deploy strategies that connect with and market to Pathfinder’s constituent audience and align external fundraising messaging to support organizational communication priorities. This role will manage our EveryAction digital communication and fundraising platform to ensure effective data collection and create a positive donor experience.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Fundraising: 

    Project management and fiscal year strategic planning for Pathfinder’s Direct Marketing program and management of communications calendar for all email and text communications.
    Oversee planning, creation, and deployment of donor-facing digital assets including online donation forms, email campaigns, and SMS communications including stewardship, cultivation, and reporting.
    Support Director of Annual Giving to manage Pathfinder’s monthly giving and mid-level giving programs, including stewardship, cultivation, and reporting.
    Oversee planning, creation, and deployment of Pathfinder’s SMS program including platform/interface management, content creation, copywriting and editing, deployment, and reporting.
    Identify opportunities for workplace giving for Pathfinder’s donors.

    Marketing Strategy:

    Ensure multi-channel communications by aligning messaging across platforms (SMS, email, direct mail, paid advertising, website, traditional media, and social media) based on industry best practices.
    Work closely with the digital communications and marketing team to support Pathfinder’s marketing strategy and the organization’s messaging and brand voice.
    Regularly analyze key metrics to determine success and craft and/or adapt strategies to implement learnings.

    Operational:

    Provide real-time reporting on various program elements for distribution to key stakeholders.
    Maintain robust knowledge of Pathfinder programs to identify compelling content for solicitation and stewardship materials.
    Serve as point of contact for relevant vendors.
    Assist in management of CRMs alongside data processing team, ensuring the cleanliness of data and synergy across platforms.
    Proactively make strategy recommendations to promote organizational efficiency and efficacy, identifying best practices and replicable models for programmatic learnings
    Ensures activities are compliant with organizational and external donor policies and guidelines.

    Required Education and Work Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or nonprofit management, or related field, or a combination of education and experience that yields the minimally required competencies.
    6 years’ work experience in fundraising, philanthropy, marketing, or communications.
    Proven ability to conduct data and trend analysis.
    Advanced knowledge of donor management and prospect tracking software
    Proven ability to stay abreast of current issues and emerging strategic issues in global philanthropy and funding trends.
    Intermediate knowledge of family planning and reproductive health principles, practices, and services, including program strategies and indicators.
    Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills. Ability to improve processes, promote excellence, and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

    Preferred Competence and Work Experience:

    Experience with EveryAction and Raiser’s Edge
    Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams
    Experience in family planning, reproductive health, and international health
    Experience raising funds for international programs.
    Language skills in French, Arabic, Portuguese, or African languages
    Experience living, studying, or working in a Pathfinder country.

    Summary of Role:  
    The Specialist, Country Performance and Special Initiatives will contribute to the CPSI team focused on two primary areas:
    Country Performance: 
    This team will play a crucial role in identifying needs and proposing solutions to help move countries along the path to country led. The CPSI team will develop and implement systems to monitor program quality and performance, including the country management dashboard, identify possible course corrections or adjustments, and document and propose lessons learned and next steps. Additionally, this team will provide strategic programmatic advice and support to activities in the Africa region and provide technical and subject matter expertise as needed. The CPSI team will also play a key role in inputting, reviewing, and otherwise supporting business development and resource mobilization.
    Special Initiatives: Special initiatives refer to timebound, priority projects that require the collective energy and intellect of various Pathfinders across the global organization. CPSI will identify and lead special initiatives in coordination with the Africa leadership team and define a process for implementing and assessing performance of special initiatives. Given the global nature of many special initiatives, such as increasing business development capacity in Africa country teams and improving and standardizing technical quality across countries, this team will act as convener and manager of cross-organizational and cross-functional teams, collaborating across all operating structures and departments.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Special Initiatives: 

    Assists to identify and propose special initiatives to Africa Leadership Team.
    Supports implementation of special initiatives under leadership of Managers and Director.

    Country Performance:

    Supports systems to monitor program quality and performance (dashboard card), identifies possible course corrections or adjustments, and documents lessons learned and next steps.
    Acts as primary and/or secondary point of contact for programmatic activities in several countries.

    Collaboration:

    Supports Managers and serves as point person on specific country programs and strategic initiatives to work across Business Divisions, including Technical Services, Operations, Finance.
    Participates in cross-functional team initiatives.

    New business:

    Actively participates in coordination of new business efforts with other Business Divisions.
    Coordinates and assists in the preparation of funding proposals/concept notes, strategies, work plans and assessments.
    Supports with analysis of relevant data and documents; aligning of project proposals with budget and other required activities to ensure submission of strong technical and financial proposals.

    Required Education and Work Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in management, public health, business, marketing, social science or related discipline.
    3 years’ experience in global health, business/management, or development with strong international background
    Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
    French proficiency is required.
    Basic understanding of multiple Sub Sahara Africa countries’ public health systems.
    Basic skills in program and project management, financial management, and planning to fulfill performance objectives, including the timely implementation, and reporting of donor-funded program activities.

    Preferred Competence and Work Experience:

    Preferred experience living or working in Sub Sahara Africa
    Experience with project or program management preferred.
    Experience in non-profit preferred

    Summary of Role:  
    Leads Pathfinder’s subaward administration to include the review of subcontracts and grant agreements, implementation, monitoring, modifications, and closeout. Ensures internal approval procedures for subawards are adhered to. Assists in drafting, negotiating and reviewing subaward terms and conditions as well as assist in the development of standard templates for subaward documents and procedures for monitoring compliance. Serves as a resource for country office subaward staff.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Subaward Technical Support & Mentoring: 

    Review draft subawards and subaward modifications, providing feedback as applicable.
    Meet with Country Subaward Managers to provide training and mentoring in subaward management.

    Subaward Oversight & Management:

    Subaward Templates: Drafts subaward templates for new subawards.

    Global Regulatory Updates: Monitors regulatory updates from donors, determines applicability to subawards, and drafts modification templates when needed.
    Subaward Modifications: Reviews and approves modifications and terms and conditions for subawards.
    Subaward Financial Management: Reviews Payment Voucher Forms for accurate coding, approves subaward invoices, and monitors financial trackers.
    Subaward Budget Reviews: Assists with reviews and negotiation of subaward budgets for accuracy and reasonableness and allowability of costs.
    Subaward Reporting: Maintains Pathfinder compliance with donor reporting requirements related to subawards.
    Pre-Subaward Capacity Assessments: Conducts and reviews assessments.
    Subaward Monitoring: monitors completion of monitoring plan activities

    Pathfinder Systems Strengthening:

    Manuals and Systems for Subawards: Assists in the development of subaward management manuals and systems for country offices in collaboration with Program & Impact and Finance business units.
    Training: Assists in the development and delivery of training for staff on subaward policies and procedures and conducts orientation training for sub awardees as needed.

    Process Improvement: Works with other business units to identify innovative solutions to processes and procedures and to create solutions to challenges.

    Project Management and Participation:

    Project Management and Participation: Leads, manages, or participates in cross functional project teams as needed.

    Required Education and Work Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, International Relations, or related field, or a combination of education and experience that yields the required competencies.
    Minimum 2-3 years’ experience managing a portfolio of subawards for USG-funded awards (grants, sub-agreements, and subcontracts)
    Experience providing training, mentoring and/or capacity building in subaward management.
    Subaward Administration: Foundational knowledge of subaward management processes.
    Budget: Foundational knowledge of project budgeting as related to subawards.
    Training and Presentations: Ability to develop, organize and present information to small groups.
    Systems, Processes and Tools: Ability to identify procedural inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements to systems and tools.

    Preferred Competence and Work Experience:

    Summary of Role:  
    Pathfinder International is seeking a Global Compliance Manager to support the Global Compliance Unit in activities that involve ensuring that the organization stays updated and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include assistance in developing and implementing compliance programs, monitoring, and enforcing compliance, staying updated on relevant laws and regulations, fostering a culture of compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. The Compliance Manager will be required to help in investigations of compliance violations, and reporting, while possessing strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Should support key compliance and risk management assurance activities within Pathfinder’s global function.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Global Compliance Program Implementation: 

    Works closely with the Global Internal Audit & Compliance function in the implementation of the Pathfinder compliance program, including policy review, assistance with compliance training, deployment of compliance communications and reporting, and integration of compliance into other Pathfinder processes.
    Assist Country Local Compliance Officers with the planning, implementation and reporting of the compliance program activities.
    Supports in the development, rollout, and training of new or updated policies. Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and international standards.

    Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

    Supports Global Compliance function, and other stakeholders on risk identification and in the maintenance of the Global risk dashboard.

    Process and Tools Continuous Improvement:

    Assists with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures in a continuous effort to improve and harmonize country office financial reporting and compliance.

    Compliance Program Execution:

    Facilitates identification of issues and resolutions to mitigate risks.

    Compliance training: Develop and deliver compliance-related training to Pathfinder International personnel at all levels.
    Compliance Issues: Ensures Country Offices are aware of appropriate channels for reporting compliance issues and coordinates with the Compliance Team to ensure appropriate tracking and monitoring of compliance issues.
    Compliance Assurance. Supports key compliance assurance including deployment of effective and efficient mechanisms to prevent, detect, identify, and correct noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations, donor requirements, and Pathfinder policies and standards. Understanding of internal control frameworks and professional internal investigation practices.
    Internal Investigation Initiatives: As appropriate, supports in the internal investigations with relevant subject matter experts in other business units.
    Reporting: Prepare regular reports on compliance activities and present them to the Global Sr Director Internal Audit & Compliance.

    Participation and Support:

    Project Management and Participation: Participates in cross-functional global team meetings when required, within the Compliance unit.
    CO support: Follow up on identified observations within Internal/External audits and provide training/Guidance to implement corrective actions to close observations.
    Training: Provide training to CO staff based on weakness points identified during Internal Audit
    Coaching: Enhance CO Compliance Officers capacity through on going coaching and provide training as needed.

    Support for the Safeguarding Team: Provide support in investigation and training to the Safeguarding Unit.

    Required Education and Work Experience:

    Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Finance, Audit, or related disciplines
    Related professional certifications are an advantage.
    Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and COSO internal control framework
    10+ years of experience in compliance, legal, finance, audit or program management, including experience developing compliance programs.
    At least 5 years international non-profit experience, including experience with grants and contracts funded by USAID, Global Fund, and other donors.
    Prefer: 5 years’ experience as an INGO Compliance Manager or Internal Auditor
    Experience in safeguarding training and/or investigation is considered an advantage.

    Preferred Competence and Work Experience:

    Compliance Program Development: Sound knowledge of the elements of an effective compliance prograM.
    Compliance Regulations and Requirements: Sound knowledge of the laws, regulations, and policies applicable to international NGOs working under grants and contracts funded by US and other donors.
    Policies and Procedures:  Sound knowledge of best practices in the development of business policies and procedures, including knowledge of methodologies for developing a RACI.
    Program and Project Planning and Management: Foundational skills in program and project management and planning to fulfill performance objectives, including timely implementation, and reporting of compliance program – policies, processes, procedures, and activities.
