    Tasks and responsibility

    Participate in the training and assessment of learning of Learning students including:
    Preparing and uploading lesson plans and related teaching, learning and assessment materials for assigned lessons Planning and conducting lectures
    Planning and conducting tutorials
    Planning and conducting Skills lab sessions
    Assessing students’ performance
    Mentor, guide and advice students in their learning and development of professional behaviour
    Generally, participate in any other activities related tplanning, implementation and evaluation of
    teaching and learning for respective department’s students in the college.
    Contribute tother activities related trespective department’s services and training of senior students. Participate in research with guidance of senior lecturers.
    Guide and support mentors, tutors, interns, student facilitators and other junior staff supporting the learning of students.

    Required competencies

    Competent professional with technical skills and up tdate knowledge ttrain students in fields related trespective department’s
    Good team player
    Interested in the development and support of young adults.
    Good oral English and Kiswahili and excellent written English language skills
    Competent oral and verbal communicator while working with individuals and teams.
    Excellent computer skills with good mastery of MS office applications

    Required education and experience

    A Higher diploma in Medical education/Health professional education
    2 years’ experience in providing health care services. Registered and in good standing with KESOTT

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Provide customer care and support to internal & external clients and solving their problems.
    Support the principal in receiving, sorting, distributing, and dispatching daily mail & drafting letters and disseminating them appropriately and timely.
    Front office management
    In liaison with the HR department, help in Induction process of the new staff up-on reporting.
    In liaison with the principal, help in internal communication.
    In Liaison with other departmental heads to understand what’s new and relevant for staff to know.
    Act as the secretary and take minutes for management’s meeting.
    Assist in preparation and logistics of various meeting and conferences.

    Required competencies, education, and experience

    Relevant Diploma in secretarial courses.
    2 years of working experience as a front desk officer
    Having worked in a learning institution as a front desk officer
    Excellent computer skills with good mastery of MS Office applications Good communication skills.

  • Lab Technician – Pharmacy

    Lab Technician – Pharmacy

    In its quest to strengthen the training team for Pharmacy and generally help support training of students, NCMTC is recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join the Pharmacy department in facilitating hands-on learning experiences for students. This includes conducting Lab sessions, handling laboratory equipment and machines, health and safety, training material development (laboratory chemical reagents).

    Tasks and responsibility

    Liaise with trainers to prepare laboratory prior to skill sessions.
    Liaise with the Head of Chemistry and Pharmaceutics sections in conducting laboratory training sessions.
    Assist learners by providing guidance and instruction on the Preparation of laboratory chemical reagents, tools and machine equipment as well as demonstrating best practices for safe and efficient operation.
    Keep inventory of all Laboratory tools and equipment
    Instruct learners on Lab safety and ensure smooth operation of Lab activities.
    Collaborate with trainers to develop training materials and teaching aids such as manuals, instructional videos, and demonstrations to support hands-on learning and reinforce theoretical concepts.
    Prepare chemical reagents Organize equipment for laboratory training sessions.
    Participating in classroom training in both pharmaceutics and chemistry.

    Required competencies

    Good practical skills in using lab tools.
    Hands-on experience in Laboratory training & learning activities.
    Machines and utilization
    Computer proficiency
    Good organisational ability
    Good Lab management practices (responsibility, taking care of tools, procedures, monitoring, documentation, etc.)

    Required education and experience

    Minimum Diploma in Analytical chemistry.
    At least 3 years of experience in handling & managing a Lab.
    Conversant with national and international safety and regulatory issues

    In collaboration with the corporate communications office, write informative, educative and groundbreaking stories on what is happening in projects and programs being implemented by CHPF, NCMTC and their partners.
    Maintain period communication with CHPF and NCMTC partners, through newsletters and general correspondence, where necessary
    Reporting to the Inter-Project Team Meeting (IPTM) on all matters related to collaborationbetween CHPF, NCMTC and partners.
