    Job Description
    Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for designing, deploying and securing efficient, scalable and resilient network and infrastructure architecture that aligns with the hospitals’ strategic objectives.
    Key Responsibilities

    Define, implement and document end-to-end architecture including hardware platforms, operating systems and distribution of the network systems;
    Implement LINUX and Windows operating systems on diverse server environments and manage OS-level configurations, updates, and security protocols;
    Develop and Roll-out robust backup and recovery strategies while configuring and optimizing backup platforms;
    Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect the Hospital and end-users against cyber threats, viruses and data breaches;
    Monitor the hospital’s network performance including SNMP, firewall logs and events to ensure zero-rated down- time and provide proactive remedial support;
    Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches as per policy and kept in a controlled environment;
    Apply expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) to enhance infrastructure efficiency and utilize Ansible for automation and configuration management;
    Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all IT systems and procedures and prepare periodic incident reports and serve as point of escalation in for all network, Servers and infrastructure issues;
    Responsible for the documentation and topology maps for all network components including Cisco routers and switches in the hospital;
    Maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance in the department by maintaining the necessary documentation;
    Alert on and respond to all unauthorized internal or external network activity;
    Coordinate with external vendors for planned/unplanned maintenance on any network systems;
    Monitor IP utilization and make recommendations for additional growth;
    Monitor all network systems utilization and make recommendations for additional growth;
    Manage VPN, SSL Certificates, and VPN site to site tunnels on the firewall; and
    Analyze, test and implement changes and enhancements to Network Software and Hardware technologies.

    Desired Skills, Experience And Qualifications

    At least 4 years’ relevant experience in Network and Infrastructure management.
    Experience with Server Virtualization Technologies
    Experience with Linux and Windows servers
    Experience with Cisco Voice – IP Telephony
    Experience with active directory setup and maintenance
    Practical experience in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS on Cisco, Juniper, FortiGate or equivalent
    Proven experience with Network Monitoring and cloud infrastructure tools such as AWS, GCP, Azure
    Relevant certifications such as CCNP and CCNSP is required
    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Teach and examine students in the areas of subjects taught in classroom and clinical areas so as to evaluate student performance in areas taught;
    Prepare a scheme of work and lesson plans to be followed for the duration of the course and submit a copy to the Deputy Principal before the course begins;
    Support in planning and conduct of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs);
    Maintain and develop areas of expertise including participation in clinical activity under the general guidance of the academic officer and clinical coordinator;
    Ensure the major Nursing Council /TVET-CDACC assessments for students within the clinical placements are done and the records well kept;
    Evaluate students during their attachment program;
    In collaboration with the Principal, develop and review curriculum for nurse training programs; and
    Support in the selection, admission, and orientation of new students to the school.

    Higher Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

    The role holder will be responsible for providing quality ultrasound services to our clients, reviewing and analyzing reports and producing the same for physician review.
    Key responsibilities:

    Receiving of patients for various Radiological procedures and exercising a high degree of customer care by explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients and answering any questions they may have.
    Assessing patients and interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic technique
    Perform a range of radiographic/sonographic examinations as requested according to the requirements of the referring physician.
    Ensure radiation protection to patients and staff to produce high-quality images.
    Managing referrals to ensure patients receive a radiation dose as low as reasonably possible and safely supervising visiting staff and patients in radiation work areas.
    Enabling high quality patient experience including quality of care and optimal turnaround time
    Facilitating adherence to set standard for routine and special examinations.
    Producing images of high diagnostic quality.
    Performing routine and special radiological examinations including mobile radiography and image intensifier when required.
    Maintaining the ultrasound equipment and maintaining the room in which the procedure takes place.
    Performing the ultrasound ensuring the transducer (probe) is capturing images of every angle/section that must be assessed and ensuring the images are of best quality.

    Minimum requirement:

    Diploma and/ or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
    Valid practice license from The Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority
    At least 2 years relevant working experience.

    KEY AREA RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Teaching

     Minimum requirement:

    Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya with a valid license;
    Four (4) years clinical working experience in a busy preferably ISO accredited institution
    TOT Certification for in BLS and/ or ACLS;
    Certification in Quality Improvement methods is an advantage.

    Writing deposit top up letters to self-paying patients/relatives.
    Ensuring that all patients pay the required deposit at the time of admission for any arrangements they are authorized by the right authority.

    Giving the patient any information they require knowing.

    DISCHARGES

    Confirming that all relevant documents are provided at the point of discharge i.e. letters of undertaking from the insurances and corporates, NHIF documents from the patient/relatives, discharge summaries from the care management and    doctor’s invoices.
    Finalizing all the patients’ bills effecting NHIF where applicable and also giving discounts.
    Seeking for extension from the insurance companies and corporates     where the bill exceeds the amount in the undertaking letter.
    Ensuring that all self-paying patients clear the bills before they are discharged or the undertakings are done by the authorized staff.
    Ensuring that all patients who are supposed to sign the bills before discharge do the same

    REGISTRATION:

    Confirmation of mode of payment
    Confirming validity for insurance or corporate patients
    Opening of new file
    Retrieving of old files
    Activation of patients
    Issuing of appointment cards
    Any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor, senior accountant or senior management from time to time.

    QUALIFICATION

    Proficiency in Microsoft office
