    Support the Human Security Cell in all aspects of our client’s Gender and Civilian Protection-associated issues and activities.
    Work as part of an integrated team, and collaborate with colleagues on common activities within the Human Security portfolio.
    Provide technical expertise on Gender and Human Security programming.
    Coordinate the design, development, administration, and delivery of Gender and associated Human Security activity training materials for the organization and its partners.

    Support the delivery of internal Gender and associated Human Security training to BPST(A) personnel to maintain organizational competencies.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Law, Gender, Human Rights, Peace, and Security, or related discipline.
    Working knowledge of fundamental human rights, humanitarian law principles, and/or matters of civilian protection in multi-dimensional Peace Support Operations.
    Demonstrable knowledge of UK Gender policies, strategies, and programs including PSVI, Women, Peace & Security, and the International Development (Gender Equality) Act 2014.
    Broad experience in developing and delivering training, including integrating gender into training and other activities across Africa.
    In-depth knowledge of Human Security and Gender issues including Women’s Peace and Security, conflict-related sexual violence, Children and Armed Conflict, Protection of Civilians, and fundamental humanitarian principles.
    Experience as a Gender or Civilian Protection Officer, preferably working in a civ-mil-pol environment with mission experience with the UN/ AU and other international stakeholders.
    Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa, including the Horn of Africa, preferably with the African military.
    Strong communication skills and ability to present information clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
    Experience in using Monitoring and Evaluation tools.
    Strong administrative skills and ability to prioritize and multitask.
    Flexibility. Significant travel is expected.

    Keep an accurate Log Book of daily movements, servicing, and vehicle defects. Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, etc.
    Assist guests with the delivery of luggage to and from the vehicle.
    Assist the Transport Manager to ensure vehicle insurance and other Government license requirements are updated according to schedule.
    Maintain high profile image of the Company and follow the code of conduct

    Requirements

    Minimum of 4 years experience as a driver with a good driving record and preferably from the tour and travel industry.
    KPSGA certificate.
    Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs will be an added advantage
    Knowledge of the Nairobi routings, hotels, and restaurants
    Good understanding of Kenya traffic law.
    Good knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
