    Job Purpose
    Contribute to the monitoring of foreign exchange operations and Conduct domestic debt analysis, strategy formulation and design.
    Key Duties and Responsibilities
    1. Conduct off-site and on-site monitoring of all Foreign Exchange (FOREX) operations. 2. Monitor Diaspora FOREX remittances3. Review reports of FOREX transactions.4. Analyze and prepare financial market intelligence reports.5. Stakeholder engagement 6. Product design and development
    Qualification and Experience
    1. Minimum: Upper Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Banking, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related         areas. 2. Professional qualifications in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Capital Markets or related discipline will be an added advantage. 3. One to two (2) years’ experience in accounting, banking, fund management, debt management, treasury operations and/or any other relevant area will be necessary.

    1. Strength in mathematical computations and analysis 2. Report writing skills3. Risk Management skills 4. Finance and risk analysis skills 5.     Basic Requirements for the Internship 
    A first degree from a recognized university in the following disciplines: Finance, Economics, Accounting, Microfinance, Management Sciences, Law or related discipline or a Master’s degree in a relevant field;
    Be a Kenyan youth between 21 to 29 years of age; and
    Provide recommendation/reference letter from the university attended.

    In line with the Central Bank’s mandate of maintaining stability and fostering a stable financial system, the Bank launched a CBK Internship Program (CBKIP) that seeks to develop a pool of young talent adequately exposed to central and commercial banking operations.
