    What will you be doing?

    Manage the relationship with large, strategic Accounts (up to 10 for MEA) for Vertiv in a long-term perspective, represent the company in front of the Account at CEO/CIO/CFO level.
    Drive/Manage/Ensure and Develop the Sales and Profitability of the business with the Accounts towards defined short and long-term targets through Distribution channels (contractors, consultants, country distributors) and/or through the country organizations.
    Secure Vertiv is the Account’s preferred partner for the entire Product and Service (where applicable) portfolio of Vertiv.

    What will your average day look like?

    Responsible for the longer-term building and maintenance of relationships with the Account sand the resulting Customer Satisfaction.
    Continuously informs Account of new product developments that might be applicable in their business segment and investigates and identifies short and longer-term solutions.
    Manages negotiations with the Account centrally, actively participates, supports and coordinates country Sales Teams/ Distributors in local bids and negotiations until closure of an opportunity.
    Interprets internal/external business issues; makes changes to own and others’ work to meet these.
    Drives the Marketing and sales of Vertiv products, services and solutions together with the countries and other channels, by regular visits and meetings.
    Responsible to create, follow up and report the Account Strategy and Activity Plan.
    Responsible for Sales & Profitability level to the Account in MEA and is therefore responsible for pricing and their consistency in the region.
    Actively coordinate the local Vertiv LoB resources &distributor managers in charge of the local Account/ Distributor.
    Actively participate in the construction and follow-up of marketing/activity plans toward the market segment.
    Contributes to the monitoring of the market, identify new business opportunities and propose and drive Action Plans.
    Establish a relationship with 3rd parties(consultants & Uptime)
    Any other duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager.

    What are we looking for?

    Bachelor’s degree in management or similar
    Minimum 10 years proven records in management of Sales Account in International environment.
    Electromechanical / IT qualification a bonus

As an Technical Sales – Thermodynamics Engineer you will provide technical support Sales for Thermal products and solutions and pre-sales technical support when building proposals, quotes and tenders. 

    What kind of work will you be doing?
    Technical support:

    Review RFQs and identify customer requirements/specifications;
    Provide sales and pre-sales support with technical support of product specifications and applications;
    Standard product selection based on customer requirements;
    Coordinates with factory engineering departments for specific technical requests;
    Provide input to/and keep CRM update for ROW projects.

    Special applications – Configure-to-Order (CTO):

    Design new solutions where standard products do not fit;
    Ensure solution is compliant with Design Verification Tests (DVT) and traditional certification;
    Configure the ETO products in C1;
    Define feasibility and costs of solutions/products;
    Integration, coordination and support the internal pre-sales and/or external suppliers;
    Prepare relevant technical documents;
    Internal support for project management team and sales;
    Presentation/explanation of solution to sales organization;
    Support Engineering and Manufacturing, and manage development of ETO product once customer order is received;
    Manage the relationship between Sales teams and the Line of Business.
    Attend customer meetings with Sales manager as a technical expert;
    Create product and application presentations for customers and consultants;
    Visit consultants on a regular basis, owning the relationships and collaborate in developing effective solutions;
    Provide technical trainings to sales teams and customers;
    Organise and host events and webcasts showcasing Vertiv products and technologies;
    Work with Product Management and Sales teams to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products;
    Constantly monitor the market for trends and competitor activities;
    Support local quality management audits;
    Support that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program itself.  

    What will make you successful? 

    Bachelor’s Degree in administration preferable but not requirement

    Monthly / Quarterly reviews with Partners and internal management.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field and management studies will be added advantage.
    5 Years’ experience in similar role (Managing Distributors / Partners).
    Experience in managing business with partners in Data Center System Integration, Electrical projects etc.
    Fluency in English written & spoken- local language (Swahili or Amharic will be a plus).
    Regional experience, understanding of distributor, consultants and end user landscape.
