    Job Description

    Reporting to the Network Assurance Manager, the role holder will be responsible for providing independent assurance to the business on Network quality on all network sites (2G/3G/LTE/FTTx) and providing assurance to the business on Platform Integrity.

    Generate insights on FTTx performance and advise the business on possible impact on revenue.  
    Research, test and document new network parameters and features as related to 2G/3G/4G/5G.  
    Detect, document, investigate and follow up until resolution all quality-of-service issues.  
    Daily Access Network (2G/3G/LTE/FTTx) performance monitoring & reporting.  
    Network Traffic statistics analysis in line with voice and data campaigns to assure service availability, capacity readiness and revenue effect.  
    Reporting to network engineering team on all anomalies affecting general performance and revenues for rectification. 
    Platform Integrity; identify and report misalignment of customer profile in key systems that store customer data and have potential of revenue loss or negatively impact customer experience.  

    Qualifications 

    A graduate with a degree in Engineering or IT with at least 3 years’ experience in a telecommunication firm.  
    Ability to analyze significant amounts of data and information and be able to monitor and explain trends.  
    Strong business acumen and analytical skills. 
    Developed interpersonal and communication skills.   
    High level experience and skills working with stakeholders.   
    Result and detail oriented.

    Job Responsibilities

    Identify, evaluate and maintain records of Safaricom Plc’s data processing activities, in conjunction with subsidiary management as appropriate
     Provide advice and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) as required
    Monitor data management procedures and ensure privacy compliance within Safaricom Plc and  group companies
    Share advice and guidelines for implementing privacy by design and privacy by default in all products and systems
    Ensure all queries from data subjects seeking to exercise their rights are responded to within required timeframes 
    Update detailed guidelines via data protection policies as required

    Qualifications

    At least 3-5 years’ work experience in the telecommunications sector which must include establishing and managing international carrier relations and interconnection arrangements.
    At least 3 years sales experience. Experience in projects management is an added advantage.
    Strong relationship-building and customer retention skills preferably from a major blue-chip company and Internet Service Providers.
    Ability to inspire and manage a sales team.
