    Support the country office in organizing and leading program design workshops for all new business development opportunities.

    Engage with senior management to address any issues during the proposal development process.

    Grants Management

    Manage and provide overall oversight of the grants portfolio (15-18 grants, including institutional and private donors) including but not limited to: conducting grant management meetings (GOM, GRM, GCM, monthly BvA); coordinating with different departments to follow up on action points and pending issues to ensure proper grants management; responding to ad-hoc HQ, donor, and IRC Kenya and staff requests and questions related to compliance; updating and disseminating grants trackers.
    Work closely with Finance department to monitor expenditure rates / spending levels across all grants, and provide feedback to field leads and departments heads on key issues.
    Manage all agreement reviews, revisions, amendments and budget realignments, including OTIS approvals
    Have a deep understanding of donor policies, regulations and procedures and train other team members in these areas

    Donor Communication and Reporting

    Ensure that reports are timely, constructive, clear, organized, and responsive to donor needs.

    Qualifications

An integral component of this effort is ensuring users have the knowledge and training needed to utilize our business systems effectively.
    Job Overview / Summary
    The IRC is currently engaged in a project to implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across Finance, Supply Chain and Grants Management functions in all IRC locations. This project will retire a number of existing systems, bringing them into a cloud based Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
    We have an exciting opportunity for two ERP Regional trainers to facilitate global end-user training and Train-the-Trainer sessions for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The primary focus will be training in both our East and West Africa regions. The Regional ERP Trainer will work closely with the ERP Training Lead and Change Management Lead to support training development, delivery and rollout of the IRC’s new ERP system. Key aspects of this role will include ongoing facilitation of ERP training sessions for international offices; development and feedback on training materials; and Learning Management System (LMS) course management and attendance tracking. A blended learning approach will be deployed, using training mediums from formal classroom delivery at IRC offices, on-the-job-learning, workshops, remote instructor-led training and self-guided eLearning.
    These are limited time positions (approximately 18 months with potential extensions) based in IRC offices that support the East and West Africa Regions. The exact East Africa or West Africa office locations are negotiable, but must be located at an established IRC office, please refer to this link for a listing of IRC office locations. However, as needed, the Trainer may be required to support training anywhere in any of IRCs 36 countries. Opportunities to support other international regions may be available after training in this region is completed. Fluency in both French and English is required.
    Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

    Fully understand IRC business processes (Finance, Supply Chain and Grants), functional roles, and system processes as they relate to the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
    Develop proficiency with all assigned training materials and business processes to ensure content familiarity.
    Work with Training Lead, Instructional Designers, and ERP Core Team to review course content and business scenarios for regional relevancy and appropriateness.
    Conduct in-person and virtual training for regional IRC offices around the world, throughout the ERP deployment and rollout.
    Conduct and support ‘Train-the-Trainer’ sessions to designated global SME’s.
    Conduct and support training on Microsoft Office basics (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) as needed.
    Oversee classroom and logistics set up in partnership with the Training Coordinator for training events and activities.
    Administer post-training continued education sessions, including 1:1 and group sessions.
    Create and update training reference guides in light of product or process changes as needed.
    Conduct post-training analysis to determine training effectiveness.
    Maintain successful training delivery satisfaction statistics to drive program success.
    Requires extensive travel to international offices, at least 75%.

    Requirements

    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    3-6 years of combined progressive facilitation and instructional design experience.
    3-6 years of ERP System ‘hands-on’ user experience, and formal training facilitation.

    Major Responsibilities:

    Provide support to the Ethics and Compliance Unit (“ECU”) in conducting investigations of specific cases originating from West Africa & the Great Lakes region, including field sites, and camp locations. Perform key investigative procedures for assigned cases as directed, including, but not limited to:
    Undertake investigations of alleged fraud, waste, financial corruption, misconduct, ensuring objectivity, impartiality and fairness throughout investigative processes in accordance with generally recognized international investigative standards and IRC guidelines and ECU policies and procedures;
    Development of investigative work plans; review and analyze information to determine its relevance and reliability, conduct interviews of staff and other involved parties, record interviews, obtain and analyze potential documentary and electronic evidence, conduct investigative research, prepare draft investigation reports, and present investigative results in a clear written form;

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education: Bachelor’s degree required in business, accounting, criminal justice or related field.

    Work Experience:

    5+ years of international financial fraud investigations (procurement, vendor/supply chain) experience (including substantive experience in developing countries and insecure environments)
    Excellent judgment and discretion
    Experience conducting fraud, collusion, bribery and corruption investigations in challenging environments, and in the locations where the IRC operates;
    Experience leading investigations of complex fraud, collusion and procurement fraud in government programs, NGO programs or the equivalent;
    Experience working with investigation teams in distant locations and insecure environments;

    Experience with international organizations and nonprofits, NGO sectors or grant-supported organizations, or the inspector general function within a large government organization.
