    Job Description

    Specific job responsibilities include but not limited to: 

    Tablet Support:

    Primary contact for Mobile/Tablet issues – Hardware and Software.
    The first point of contact for escalation of mobile/tablet support issues.
    Test and implement mobile/tablet setup, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance standards for use in the organization.
    Test and implement Mobile/Tablet management for the organization.
    Test and implement Mobile/Tablet inventory management techniques for the organization.
    Test and implement the Mobile/Tablet enrollment procedure to enable tablet enrollment.

    Act as a department liaison:

    Work closely with Mobile Team Lead to plan and coordinate mobile/tablet setup and configuration activities.
    Heavy coordination with Program Innovation and Field Operations staff to review usability, features, issues and feedback.
    Heavy coordination with other departments to review feature/function changes and to streamline device setup.
    Coordinating with other departments regarding Mobile/Tablet Purchase, Setup, Configuration and maintenance.
    Manage/coordinate Mobile/Tablet hardware/software requests from other department.

    Documentation and reporting:

    Follow and write mobile support documentation i.e. processes (setup, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance).
    Keep track of problems and repairs-log all tasks performed and provide for check-ins.
    Daily interface with the Mobile Device Management team for reporting and identification of issues.
    Compile weekly reports as determined by the Mobile Team Lead and program needs.

    Frequent field visits to test, observe, implement, critique and build experience with mobile tools.

    Key Responsibilities

    Execution

    Job Description
    The Global Commercialization Director will be at the forefront of leading one of our organization’s biggest opportunities to generate impact in the next decade: shaping a new suite of services to connect our clients to markets. To date, One Acre Fund has focused on improving yields of food crops through supplying quality inputs, training, and delivery. The organization and the farmers we serve are now ready to take the next step to connecting to markets. This will require launching new business units to serve hundreds of thousands to farmers across 7+ countries through identifying value chains, creating connections to buyers, and building out the teams and logistics to support a brand new arm of services.
    Key responsibilities of this role include:

    Developing & driving crop commercialization strategy: This role will be responsible for setting the organization-wide strategy on crop commercialization to increase the incomes of a significant proportion of the farmers we serve through commercialization by 2025. To do this, the Global Commercialization Director will identify the most promising commercialization opportunities locally and internationally, work with country programs to set their annual commercialization priorities, and ensure that teams are working towards a consistent, long-term vision for commercialization at OAF.
    Overseeing the launch of 7+ new business units: This entrepreneurial leader will help get commercialization business units off the ground in at least seven of our countries over the next few years to serve at least 500,000 farmers. Although in-country teams will be responsible for launching the new businesses, the Global Commercialization Director will be a key player in supporting the teams to bring new business to life through on-the-ground involvement at key junctures, moving teams beyond research & scoping to doing, and supporting on the business plans and connections necessary for the new business units to succeed.
    Providing targeted technical expertise: Through direct input, or facilitating connections to external connections, provide expertise on technical aspects of market access and value-addition. This would include providing guidance on value chain mapping, buyer identification, contract negotiations between OAF and/or farmers and buyers, aggregation logistics, processing, export regulations and logistics, and more.
    Coordinating strategy implementation across teams: This role will be the central coordinator of crop commercialization strategy across 7+ countries. This will require establishing systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and coordination across a diverse set of teams through working groups, dotted line management of in-country market access leads, and centralized knowledge and resource repositories.

    Job Description
    The Chief Systems and People Officer will be an essential part of a leadership team that manages the largest program in One Acre Fund and one of the largest social enterprises in Africa. The Kenya program serves over 390,000 clients, manages over $43m in loans and over 3,000 staff. By 2030, we aim to transform every farming community in Kenya, and serve more than 1.5 million Kenyan farm families.
    The Chief Systems and People Officer will report to the Kenya CEO and set the strategy for managing a 3,000 person workforce and running the largest rural delivery network in Kenya. You will directly manage over 225 staff and two essential divisions: Systems and People.
    You will:

    Guide country level strategy for our largest country operations, together with the CEO, COO and CINO.

    Be a member of the Kenya Leadership Team, leading country-wide strategy and important projects alongside this group of senior leaders.

    Manage the Systems Division. This is a 150+ person division consisting of three major departments; Logistics, Business Operations and Procurement.

    Work with the Systems Director to evolve the programs systems to support new innovations and program changes, incorporate new technology and build foundations to handle 25%+ annual growth in program size
    Work with a range of global systems teams to ensure bi-directional feedback between them and Kenyas systems teams to align goals and co-ordinate major systems improvements

    Manage the People Division. This is a 75+ person division consisting of two major departments; Human Resources and Corporate Operations.

    Work with the People Director to improve our people support to over 3,000 employees in the Kenya program through making systematic upgrades to our HR systems and corporate operations processes and services
    Take a lead role in advancing all of the organisations Diversity and Inclusion projects in Kenya – a top priority for all senior leadership.

    Job Description
    The Digital Marketing Associate will lead our digital marketing strategy globally, and fill our marketing funnel with engaged audiences. You will directly lead our marketing efforts focused on potential job candidates, and advise teams on digital marketing to farmers and donors.
    Youll play a hands-on role in developing campaigns to build our employer brand and attract job candidates. Youll work with our in-house media relations team and creative unit, which includes graphic designers, photographers, a videographer and writer.
    You will report directly to the Global Director of Communications and help improve our employer brand as we continue to grow and serve more farm families.
    Responsibilities

    Lead a full-funnel marketing strategy. Design a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to attract and engage potential job candidates at all stages of our funnel.
    Develop creative briefs. Working with the Creative Director, develop regular creative briefs including audience insights, messaging, channel mix and expected results.
    Analyze data and apply insights. Use campaign data and results to improve strategy, advise the Recruitment team, and make recommendations to senior leaders.
    Project manage campaigns. Manage project scopes, develop detailed work-plans, and coordinate contributors to ensure campaigns are on time and on budget.
    Advise on best practices. Draw on marketing best practices to recommend new approaches to content, channels, audience segmentation, and brand measurement.
    Manage staff. Manage one direct report who executes content publishing and digital advertising, and coordinates vendors (web developer and SEO).

    Qualifications
    You are a data-minded digital marketer who can do long-term brand planning and can also get hands-on with A/B testing and copywriting as needed. You will have experience working across the major digital marketing channels and linking your work directly to results for the business.
    Candidates who fit the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

    Experience reading marketing data and pulling insights that inform strategy, creative marketing briefs, and reports to executive leaders
