    Role and Responsibilities:
    The primary responsibility of the position is to provide support to prioritised Country Offices in pursuing partnership opportunities with the World Bank. The position will advise senior management across NRC in developing its engagement with the World Bank, with a focus on the World Bank’s work in fragile states and with refugees. The position will be the NRC focal point for expertise on the World Bank and its relations with NRC. The position is expected to contribute to establishing new operational partnerships with World Bank either directly or as a sub-contractor. 
    Specific Responsibilities;

    Lead, manage, and develop NRC engagement with the World Bank, with a focus on operational partnership opportunities;
    Identify and develop World Bank partnership opportunities for NRC and communicate them to relevant regional and country office and technical staff;
    Provide strategic partnership support to country programme teams engaging or seeking to engage with the World Bank, including through dedicated visits to regional and country offices to advance the dialogue and develop opportunities;
    Engage with World Bank staff to identify programme priorities related to forced displacement and fragile states, and position NRC as a resource and potential partner to implement these programmes;

    NRC is looking for an experienced Grants and Partnership Manager to provide effective leadership for NRC fund raising, grant management, and management of partnership with national and international partners. The postholder will identify and track donor opportunities, as well as assist with donor engagement, grant preparation, administration, and reporting. 
    Generic responsibilities

    Funding Raising

    Support the Head of Programme and Country Director to develop a context specific fundraising strategy. This includes the mapping of potential new funding opportunities with inputs from relevant stakeholders and documenting any fundraising policy positions agreed by the CMG.

    Grant Management 

    Accountable for maintain a correct and up-to-date Grants Tracker and sharing it with the relevant stakeholders. . 

    Partnership Management

    The role of the Information. Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Project Coordinator is to implement the delegated ICLA project portfolio in Kakuma.  The ICLA Project Coordinator has overall responsible for the successful implementation of ICLA projects in Kakuma in compliance with NRC policies, guidance, and procedures.  This includes the day-to-day management of all ICLA staff and through successful utilisation of the Project Cycle Management (PCM) frameworks for the delivery of timely and quality projects.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Overview of Role
    The Regional Climate & Environment Adviser will be responsible for leading and coordinating implementation of NRC EAY’s Climate and Environment Strategic Objective and ambitions, with a particular emphasis on strengthening NRC’s response on Climate Adaptation. Through research, piloting and testing, develop new responses that aims to strengthen the resilience of the displacement affected to withstand shocks and stresses related to climate change and environmental degradation.
    Generic Responsibilities

    Responsible for providing strategic advice, technical support and capacity building support to the Country Offices in the region on climate and environment, across Country Offices in the region and the Regional Office.
    Responsible for ensuring that best practices within the climate adaptation are identified, documented and disseminated both within the region and beyond

    Roles and Responsibilities

    To take the lead in the implementation of the NRC’s alternative education programs at the school level.

    Coordinate assessments, progress tracking, sensitization/mobilization and follow-up on urgent issues.
    Supervise the education technical assistant, teachers assigned, and commnity BLP facilitators  in terms of performance, allocation of tasks, work plan, day-to-day work, and leaves, and support them to further build their capacity and expertise.
    Ensure effective pre-positioning, distribution and monitoring of school learning materials
    Promote, advocate and implement community mobilization on the Right to Education for All (EFA), the concept of AEP, INEE standards, girl’s education, protection of vulnerable children and the rights of refugees, IDPs and children with special needs.
    Follow up on the project budget associated with the AEP activities.
    Prepare timely periodic AEP progress reports as required. (Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly or Quarterly and end of year project reports?)
    Investigate and facilitate introduction of new technology EdTech project, methods and approaches in order to improve the quality of the activities and learning using Technology.
    Involve and inform communities and community leaders about the activities of project and conduct monthly PTA/community coordination meetings per camp.
    Provide staff recruitment, supervision, management and timely Performance management.
    Prepare and file relevant documents as required by line manager

    Role and responsibilities
    The role of the Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Project Coordinator is to implement the delegated ICLA project portfolio in Dadaab.  The ICLA Project Coordinator has overall responsible for the successful implementation of ICLA projects in Dadaab in compliance with NRC policies, guidance, and procedures.  This includes the day-to-day management of all ICLA staff and through successful utilisation of the Project Cycle Management (PCM) frameworks for the delivery of timely and quality projects. The Project Coordinator will contribute to ICLA strategy development and building ICLA projects in Dadaab through supporting identifying gaps and proposal development. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for developing strong working relationships to ensure integration with other NRC programmes and with a wide range of external stakeholders to ensure that ICLA projects are being delivered within wider coordination in Dadaab. The ICLA Project Coordinator will identify and carry out relevant capacity building and training opportunities both internally and with external partners. The ICLA Project Coordinator is responsible for team cohesion and is expected to project professional image and lead by example.  The Project Coordinator will ensure that regular protection/legal analysis of the situation of refugees located in the Dadaab camp complex and surrounding host community is conducted and support relevant research to develop ICLA’s programme in Dadaab in terms of project delivery and engaging in policy and advocacy with external stakeholders.
    Generic responsibilities

    Ensure use of Project Cycle Management (PCM) systems and tools for the management and implementation of delegated portfolio of ICLA projects (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements.
    Overall responsibility for ensuring quality monitoring, evaluation and learning with support of the M&E team at field and Nairobi levels.  Provide regular progress reports to the AM and ICLA Specialist  
    Line management of ICLA project field staff and community staff to create effective team environment.
    Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures and donor requirements
    Represent NRC at the relevant inter-agency forums and with local authorities.
    Contribute to ICLA strategy development, project proposals and provide analysis on needs and gaps. Promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in activities.

    Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills.

    Specific responsibilities

    Contribute to preparation of donor proposals.
    Developing, adapting, and ensuring compliance with NRC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines and tools in relation to provision of quality information, counseling, legal assistance, and referral activities.
    Oversight to ensure quality of the provision of information and outreach opportunities, direct counseling, and legal assistance services by ICLA and coordination with partners on complementary services.
    Meeting regularly with refugee and host community representatives to explain NRC’s ICLA activities and engage them in project implementation.
    Ensuring that NRC engages in protection sector and other relevant working groups and coordination and developing both internal and external protection referral pathways.
    Ensure the testing, adaption and use of client intake and case management forms for counseling, legal assistance and referral services and ensure confidentiality and protection of client data.
    Support the conducting of awareness raising, capacity building and training activities for communities, government officials and NGOs on ICLA thematic areas including housing, land and property rights and collaborative dispute resolution.
    Prepare and compile weekly, monthly, and mid and end term reports for AM, APM and Specialist
    Manage the sector budgets and ensure that over and underutilization is controlled.
    Prepare and oversee ICLA continuous assessments, mapping and investigation and supervise data collection during ICLA surveys and assessments.
    Manage staff expectations through regular dialogue/meetings and information sharing.
