    Job Description

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    Effectively manage client motor vehicles after repossession according to the company policies.
    Assess the client’s current moto vehicle status after repossession.
    Manage the release of client logbook on clearance.
    Keep record of all security repossessed and the logbooks to tally the repossessed moto vehicles.
    Strategically advise clients on what actions to take with their assets.
    Assess and manage risks associated with current assets.
    Oversee the process of in charge and discharge of logbooks.
    Monitor and manage assets from repossession to disposition.
    Track customer accounts and advise the client and Collection team action to take.
    Foster and maintain positive client relationships and give high level of customer service.
    Ensure branches submit client’s security to HQ for safety custody
    Ensure all clients securities are kept in safe custody.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of Diploma in Business Management
    Strong financial background
    Mature and able to make critical decisions
    Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft
    Excellent management skills
    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    Analytically and strategically minded

    To champion the development and deployment of Mwananchi’s boda product to grow sales and meet company targets.
    Build and maintain relationships with partners, boda associations and SACCOs
    Develop and maintain new and innovative sales channels, design sales strategy
    Provide pro-active, accurate, detailed and comprehensive product presentation
    Intermediate and facilitate the sales process between partners and internal stakeholders
    Build and maintain relationship with suppliers and develop supply chain processes
    Qualifications
    Two year experience  in the same position
    Great interpersonal skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Consumer finance / retail credit/Asset Financing
    Understanding of Boda boda industry
    Motorcycle Permit.

    Relationship Officer Business Development Officer/ Manager

    Job Summary
    Working closely with the Branch Manager the job holder will ensure implementation of sales & business growth strategies and at the same time ensure quality of the loans portfolio. He/she will identify business growth opportunities, acquire clients in area of jurisdiction, manage daily utilization towards future lending and build a sizeable portfolio in loans and ensuring excellent client experience.
    Key Measurable Goals

    Achievement of quality portfolio.
    PAR management 0 – 30 days.
    Client acquisition, increase rate of individual loan uptake and relationship management.
    Increase revenues through cross selling of other products
    Increase profitability of branches through enhanced relationship building, loan collection follow ups thus increasing branch revenues in comparison to expenditure and reduced provisioning for bad book.
    Active disbursement Mobilization to meet set targets.

    Qualifications

    Education: Diploma in any business related course
    Knowledge and Skills: Business management skills, Credit management skills Supervisory skills
    Experience: At least 2 years as a Relationship Officer
    Personal Attributes: Good communication and interpersonal skills, Team leader/player.

    Responsibilities

    Proactively market and generate business through Individual and SME client recruitment on disbursement.
    Undertake regular calls and visits to customers to ensure effective relationship management.
    Maintain up to date records of all customer visits for all customers.
    Cross sell all products and services to both existing and potential clients.
    Business growth initiatives including marketing activities, new business sign ups, new partnerships etc.
    Prepare credit appraisals, analysis and present to the Branch Credit Committee meetings for further review & recommendations.
    Adhere to current procedures, processes, memos and circulars as may be issued from time to time.
    Address all customer queries within stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    Monitor the portfolio quality on daily basis and proactively institute remedial actions.
    Maintain sound relationships with all clients.

    Job Summary
    Reporting to the Head, Operations, and the role holder is tasked to evaluate, develop and monitor recovery action plans on non- performing loan accounts on a continuous basis, to achieve maximum and timely recoveries and/or turnaround at minimal costs.
     Job Description
    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement recovery strategies and action plans for each non- performing debt.
    Reduction of non- performing debts through aggressive recoveries and viable restructuring options.
    Full compliance with Credit policies.
    Minimize recovery costs through vetting of invoices and upfront fees negotiations.
    Coach, guide and motivate staff to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    Recovery of bad debts.
    Review of facilities on each file on the best recovery option including restructuring and asset classifications.
    Correspondence with both external and internal customers.
    Meetings with the debtors and service providers, including official visits to their operations.
    Supervise and guide the direct reports.
    Monitor debtors’ compliance with the agreed settlement arrangements.

    Experience & Expertise:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business related degree from an institution recognized by Commission for University Education.
    At least 5 years’ experience, 3 years of which should be in a senior management position within credit.
    Demonstrates a clear understanding of recoveries processes in Corporate and must be able to provide direction and strategic thinking where appropriate in relation to distressed assets and loans in default.
    Should have sound knowledge in Accounting and financial principles, Credit risk management
    Understanding of Legal principles related to lending; collateral rights, Insolvency Law, Receiverships and Administration.
    Must have the ability to translate and apply Credit knowledge to optimise positive outcomes in negotiations with clients.
