    Role Purpose
    The job holder will offer actuarial advice on the price for medical contracts, calculation of insurance technical provisions, monitor and analyze product performance & reserve adequacy, ensure filing of regulatory returns and new products.
    Main Responsibilities

    Lead the implementation and management of Jubilee Health Insurance Limited’s risk policy and framework.
    Ensure that risk evaluation, monitoring, review, and documentation occur in accordance with the Risk Management
    Policy and Methodology.
    Develop and update the risk appetite statement.
    Quarterly updating of risk registers which is shared with the Board Risk Management Committee for review of company overall risk profile.
    Develop risk reporting tools that the company can use to monitor its risk profile.
    Guide integration of ERM with the company budgeting and other management planning activities.
    Establish a common risk language for the company.
    Facilitate manager’s development of reporting protocols, including quantitative and qualitative thresholds, and monitoring the reporting process.
    Assist the CEO in ensuring that key risks are being taken and managed appropriately within the risk appetite and tolerances.
    Ensure risk assessments are performed when significant organizational changes occur.
    Monitor and ensure the risk mitigation efforts are proceeding as planned.
    Proactively identify emerging risks.
    Assist in developing reports to the CEO and Board on risk management activities.

    Position Summary
    The position exists to provide patient consultation and implement individualized psychological treatment with a bias to HIV testing and counselling services.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    Create demand for HTS by conducting health talks at the waiting bays and thorough eligibility screening.
    Perform provider-initiated HIV Testing and counselling at all service points (i.e. outpatient & inpatient, TB, etc.) with total coverage and thorough eligibility screening to identify eligible client for testing in the facility.
    Plan and implement high yield strategies i.e. HIV testing services for families and sexual partners/contacts of people living with HIV (Partner Notification services (PNS) and Family and Partner Testing and Counselling.
    Ensure integration of other health services in provision of HTS services
    Take a lead role in the mapping of HTS expansion areas within the facility to help in the identification of men and young people.
    Maintain referral charts/ dairies and coordinate intra and inter facilities referrals.
    Implement strategies for referrals and linkages of newly diagnosed HIV infected clients between HTS points and the HIV clinics (CCC).
    Carry out proper documentation and reporting of HTS activities and compilation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports (KTRRH and MOH reports)
    Maintain compliance to KUTRRH and national policies i.e. national testing algorithms, standard operating procedures, and job aids.
    Participate in internal and external quality assurance measures in HTS i.e. PT, counselling supervision.
    Manage allocated HTS commodities, ensure there are no testing interruptions and ensure quality HTS service provision.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience

    Diploma in counseling or any other health related field
    A degree in counselling or a related and relevant field from a recognized university will be an added advantage
    NASCOP certified training in provision of HIV testing services (HTS)
    Training in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment.
    Demonstrable computer literacy and health management information systems applicable skills.
    One (1) year working experience in HTS service provision.
