    You will be responsible for :

    Designing, maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure.
    Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.
    Recommending infrastructure solutions to meet business requirement in compliance with IT policy & procedure.
    Providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting as and when required.
    Analysing, monitoring, configuring and maintaining existing systems and identify room for improvements.
    Ensuring overall system and server uptime, availability, reliability and security.
    Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for specific requirements.
    Troubleshooting system/server issues or outages.
    Configuration, installation, maintenance and lifecycles planning of various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN etc. .).
    Keeping updated, accurate and reliable backups of application and databases.

    Ideal Profile

    You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
    You have at least 3 years experience, ideally within a Network Engineer / Systems Engineer or System Administrator role.
    You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
    You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
    You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data

    Job Description
    The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the company’s key performance indicators by delivering an exceptional and smooth operation experience. In order to do this, the candidate will build and run an efficient team, and effectively incorporate key business trends and customer feedback into the normal operations of the various facilities involved.
    Responsibilities

    Monitor and control normal operations.
    Ensure a vehicle is intercepted (in the case a vehicle transgresses or ignores instructions from the control center) within the network under its jurisdiction.
    Monitor the integrity of communication links and implement alternative operations procedures when communication links are down.
    Initiate maintenance and intervention procedures.
    Ensure that weighbridge operation procedures are followed.

    Qualifications

    Higher National Diploma from a recognized University.
    Three (3) years proven experience in Business Administration, have good communication skills, and be of high integrity.
    Experience and exposure to Public or Private sector administration and knowledge of and experience in administration of a technical facility/project in a similar position.
    Certification in ICT or project performance monitoring and evaluation and have adequate experience in the use of desktop computer applications.
