    Our client, a leading real estate Company seeks to recruit a Valuation and Sales Manager, who will be responsible for developing and delivering valuation services for their clients. This will include determining the appropriate valuation method, undertaking valuations and completing reports for vacant land and built property. The job holder will also oversee and co-ordinate the sales and leasing functions within the company for land and built property both commercial and residential

    Duties and Responsibilities
    VALUATION

    Ensure strong understanding of the organizations value proposition and keep abreast of best practice in property valuation.
    Undertake regular market research to keep abreast of property value trends in the Kenyan market.
    Identify property valuation opportunities for the organization.
    Engage clients to determine their property valuation requirements.
    Visit sites to inspect and compile property features as part of valuation process.
    Measure and record dimensions and obtain information regarding factors that may affect property prices.
    For built property take particular note of any and major structural faults on the interior and exterior of the property
    In determining market value compare attributes of the property to recently comparable sales or leases in the surrounding area
    Compile all data collected during the property inspection and any other data relevant to the property into a detailed valuation report ensuring best practice and adherence to agreed timelines.
    If required provide verbal presentations of valuation reports to clients
    SALES

    Develop and implement a sales strategy based on knowledge of  the Kenyan market dynamics, to
    Optimize revenue from property management service, land or built units for sale or vacant pace for let.
    Manage sales associates.
    Define and monitor sales targets for each sales associate within the Company.
    Identify and bring in suitable properties for sale or let to Company’s portfolio.

    Requirements

    Bachelors or Higher Diploma in Land Economics, Real Estate, Survey or its equivalent.
    At least 5years’experience working as a property valuer & sales person in the real estate sector.
    Registered member with ISK(Institution of Surveyors of Kenya)
    Registered member with EARB(Estate Agent Regulatory Board)
    A competent user of the Internet, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
    Strong attention to detail.
    Ability to manage multiple projects and compile necessary reports.
    Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills.

    Overview of Position

    Manage the farm staff and ensure a good working environment
    Grow and manage the farms to be both productive and profitable
    Grow and manage the various sales channels
    Prepare management reports
    Maintain positive business relationships with customers, suppliers, professional bodies and distributors

    Primary Responsibilities

    Manage workflow by ensuring all deadlines are met and work is completed and accurate
    Analyze existing operations, crops and livestock and recommend improvements
    Prepare production and maintenance cycles for each farm as appropriate
    Visit the various farms under supervision to inspect operations
    Manage the procurement cycle for each farm to ensure appropriate levels of supplies are maintained
    Maintain a functional repairs and maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery
    Develop a pricing strategy to ensure our products are competitive
    Maintain overall responsibility over the sales and marketing of farm output
    Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure we get the best support e.g. from coffee millers and out growers
    Review staffing levels periodically and ensure staff are well trained
    Prepare management reports as appropriate to assist the Board make good decisions
    Hire, terminate, transfer, and promote farm staff while enforcing health and safety regulations
    Ensure accurate financials are maintained and prepare reports to analyze performance against set budgets
    Maintain healthy community and professional relationships/ networks

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Livestock Management or equivalent
    Additional courses in business management is desirable
    5+ years’ farm management experience in Kenya

    Expertise in Coffee and Horticulture will be a plus.

    Apartments Operations Manager

    Our Client, a real estate firm with apartments in Mombasa seeks to recruit an Apartments Operation Supervisor who will be required to supervise and be responsible for the full operational status of the apartments as per the set standards & procedures.
    The position requires an individual with an excellent level of commercial awareness, who can build and maintain relationships with internal and external guests. Also responsible for highlighting short/medium/long-term issues to the General Manager/Directors and to help formulate solutions.
    Reports to: General Manager and indirect report to Managing Director
    Duties and responsibilities

    Fully responsible for all aspects at the apartments.
    Support and work with Head Office and Directors in all aspects of running the apartments
    Ensure the apartments are in operative condition to receive & serve guests.
    Ensure standard operating procedures implementation and check the same during routine operational checks. 
    Inspecting all apartments on a daily basis for cleanliness, ambiance, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
    Monitor & co-ordinate departments for smooth & efficient operations.
    Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
    Monitor and maintain operational& overheads cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the organization.
    Assist in the preparation of the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
    Data capturing in the company system on regular basis and preparing the necessary report for the purpose of decision making.
    Reporting performance to the General Manager/Director on regular basis.
    Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales and all other reports to the General Manager/ Directors
    Obtain updated calendars of events from corporate and other organizations that plan ahead in order to follow up on future bookings in an effort to increase the apartments market share in the Hospitality industry.
    Be available on call 24 hours a day to resolve any emerging problems or emergencies at the apartments

    Any other duties assigned.
    Job Requirements/Qualifications

    The job holder should be 30 years of age and above
    Degree in Sales and Marketing, Tour and Travel or Hospitality Management
    Must have a valid certificate of good conduct.
    Must be Computer Proficient.
    Must be fluent in written and spoken English, Swahili and an additional foreign language
    Holders of Firefighting Certificate, First Aid among other short courses certificate will have an added advantage.
    A least four years prior working experience
    Customer relationship management skills
    Excellent revenue management and generating skills with experience of budgets, P & L’s and forecasting
    Knowledge of social media marketing
