    The Global Lead for Disability Inclusion leads on the implementation of Disability Inclusion policy and sets the technical direction across the global organisation in alignment with our organisational strategy. This includes leading the global Disability Inclusion Technical Working Group, managing a small team of Disability Inclusion technical advisors and collaborating with technical staff in Disability Inclusion across country, regional, centre and member offices. Additionally, this position collaborates closely with teams across thematic/cross-cutting areas in humanitarian and development contexts, as well as across different functional teams, to ensure Disability Inclusion is effectively mainstreamed and truly cross-cutting in what we know and do.
    The post holder stays abreast of and engages in industry developments and identifies, develops and maintains relationships and coalitions with key players in the Disability Inclusion space, including with representative organisations of persons with disabilities, other expert disability organisations, donors and the global disability movement. They represent Save the Children at global, regional and country level fora as relevant, showcasing Save the Children’s Disability Inclusion work. This will involve working across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including children and young people with disabilities themselves, as well as external stakeholders including INGOs, UNICEF, global partnerships and other agencies.
    This is a leadership position which requires superior technical knowledge, management expertise, and programme development. It sits within the Child Rights, Equality and Social Justice team which includes Global Leads in other equality seeking areas.

    Essential:

    Significant prior experience within development and/or humanitarian work, with a rights based approach, including experience within a country programme or equivalent.
    Demonstrable experience of a focus on people/children with disabilities in development and/or humanitarian context, including across multiple thematic areas (health and nutrition, education, child protection, child poverty and/or child rights governance).

    Role Purpose:
    Transformation Delivery is responsible for the delivery of projects across Save the Children with a focus on providing Project and Change resources with the oversight of a Portfolio Management team.
    The SCI Website is a very important digital platform for Save the Children to engage and communicate information with the public to drive campaign support and fundraising. The platform of Save the Children International’s website is currently on an older version of Drupal which is reaching its end of life and so needs to be moved onto a newer version. The functionality and content within the website also needs to be upgraded to it better enables Save the Children’s Global Digital Engagement function to meet its strategic objectives. The redevelopment of the SCI Website will ultimately drive an increased number of people to it, which will lead to increased numbers of donations, greater levels of brand awareness, and improved campaigns support.
    To be successful, the Senior Project Manager should be open to rolling up their sleeves to really understand the SCI Website and what the key requirements are of the Global Digital Engagement function to redevelop it.
    The role of the Senior Project Manager of the SCI Website Redevelopment project will be to initiate and deliver on our priorities for this initiative, to include ensuring we have a clear strategy and plan to reach our defined outcomes whilst also prioritising delivering the required redevelopment in the timeline that has been defined. The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for defining the start-up approach, which will include setting up the governance, ensuring the required team / reference groups are in place, working with a BA to complete the current and future state analysis, leading vendor selection, identifying and proposing mitigations for project risks and issues, define the costs and benefits and coordinate the required governance to move the project through the stage gate process.
    The role holder will be responsible for establishing project management practices utilising SCA’s Project Lifecycle, managing relationships with key stakeholders and driving continuous improvements. This role also requires the holder to work closely with the Global Digital Engagement function within SCI.
    Prior experience in delivery of global transformation initiatives is therefore essential for candidates applying for this role, in either the INGO sector or the private sector.
    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
    Essential:

    An extensive track record of successfully managing large and complex projects, including CMS redevelopment projects, and programmes that include strategy development, design, systems, processes and operating model changes.
    Demonstrable experience and in-depth knowledge of content management and e-commerce platforms and standards.

    ROLE PURPOSE:  
    Under the general guidance and direction of the Research and MEAL Specialist; the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Assistant will work as part of the county M&E team responsible for program quality assurance, accountability, documentation and learning. S/he will be involved in day to day implementation of the M & E system sub-county level including data collection, colation, entry, analysis and use for decision-making.     KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manage information generated through MEAL activities, such as complaints databases, action tracker.
    Organize field visits to monitor program activities / interventions against Quality Benchmarks/Quality Checklists and produce & share reports with program team as well as management team based on quality and accountability findings.
    Support program staff to strengthen joint planning and monitoring with stakeholders.
    Contribute to the quality of program design – reviewing log-frames, results frameworks, project plan, strategic plans, MEAL Plan etc.
    Ensure that the agreed action plans are followed in timely manner by program team and that the feedback loop is closed.
    Share all information (monitoring reports, CFM databases, preliminary verification reports, case studies etc.) with the support of  Research and MEAL Specialist.
    Share MEAL findings & CFM issues in each monthly meeting
    Support in roll-out  of USAID Nawiri monitoring and evaluation strategy and tools at the Sub County level.
    Collect program routine monitoring data and follow-up with the program team on data collection and reporting.
     Support roll-out and supervision of data collection through Annual Surveys, Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) and Quality Inquiry Surveys.
    Timely entry of  monitoring data into mobile and  computer-based data collection systems and working with MIS officers to resolve data quality issues observed.
    Support  Monitoring and Evaluation activities to ensure that program-based monitoring activities are being performed according to schedule.
    Support in conducting Quarterly data review meetings and Routine Data quality Assurance.
    Support and collaborate with the M&E Officer to provide timely reports and data summaries.

    As a key and senior role in the Advocacy, Campaign, Communications and Media as well as  Humanitarian Team, the regional Humanitarian Advocacy and Policy Manager role is responsible for leading on humanitarian, advocacy and policy work, as well as for developing and producing key trends and situation analysis’ products, reports and updates, aimed at enabling and supporting our overall humanitarian advocacy and the Humanitarian programming and emergency response delivery  across the ESA region.
    The role holder will collaborate effectively with support and program functions in ensuring that up-to-date information is communicated, shared and used at all segments of the humanitarian programming cycle in the region and work closely with the regional Humanitarian Info Comms Manager. S/he is responsible for monitoring key trends and context analyses as well as transforming large sets of data and information so that they can be coherently summarized written pieces, dashboards, and other various forms of visualization that will feed better-informed response strategies and programming with key advocacy outcomes. In addition, the role will support response-related special projects, which include media visits, report publications, milestone celebrations, partner liaisons and representation, as needed.
    The post-holder will work as part of the ACCM team in the regional office, where and when needed will be seconded to and/or will work closely with the Emergency Response team(s) in any Country Office to produce high-quality analyses, advocacy and policy products, summaries, reports, dashboards, and other related materials. The post holder will also lead on managing inputs and outputs for the humanitarian information and communication manager and media managers both at the regional and country office levels as appropriate. 
    The role holder will keep up to date with developments on humanitarian issues in the region and beyond and the sector, conduct policy analysis, develop recommendations and articulate Save the Children’s positions. S/he will identify key issues, policy trends, report on key developments and analyse ramifications of policy changes to scope priorities for our advocacy work and develop advocacy strategies and actions.
    This role requires significant knowledge of disaster risk management issues and experience working in advocacy and policy positions dealing with complex humanitarian and/or emergency settings, knowledge of the key donors for emergency responses, and the key international standards.
    In order to be successful, you will bring/have:
    QUALIFICATIONS

    Degree required in a relevant subject; Masters or equivalent is desirable.
    At least eight years’ post-qualification experience within, but not exhaustive to communications, media, advocacy, policy, information management, qualitative data analysis and report synthesis, humanitarian and development sectors in governmental or non-governmental institutions. 
    At least five years’ first-hand experience working on humanitarian responses, either at the global, institutional, donor or recipient country level is highly desirable.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    Experience in explaining complex data findings simply and accessibly to diverse audiences, including through intelligent use of graphics and visualisations.
    First-rate written skills evidenced in published work, with the ability to present complex issues concisely and clearly to a wide audience.
    Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of different audiences including donors, journalists and the ‘general public’.
    Proven training skills, with ability to build data analysis capacity of technical specialists and policy generalists alike. Experience of delivering training, presentations and other capacity building activities to varied audiences, ideally within a country programme.

    Additionally, this role informs, shapes and connects key strategic initiatives in pursuit of Save the Children Global Strategy and represents institutional programme funding perspective into such initiatives.     Extensive experience of influencing and delivering results cross-organisationally within a large, complex global organisation and ability to manage the tension between global strategic decisions and the operational reality at country and regional level
    Substantial institutional fundraising and/or award management experience, including working within a complex matrixed organisation (including the Save the Children movement).
    Demonstrable subject matter expertise across relevant international development issues, combined with significant experience in developing / managing strategic partnerships with the key institutional donor organisations relevant to SCA
    Exceptional leadership behaviours, including external orientation, situational agility and partner focus, with strong negotiation and influencing skills in relation to multiple stakeholder contexts and matrices
    Exceptional team & interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and with impact
    Experience of leading and managing people, including providing guidance and oversight and empowering team members to deliver
    Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, including defining a clear way forward and ensuring buy-in
    Attention to detail and the ability to follow tasks and ideas through to completion
    A high degree of flexibility and adaptability in order to respond to changing needs

    Experience of working in / across other areas of SC’s operations and / or functions
    Experience of being involved in the implementation of a new / changed business processes and ways of working or transformation processes.
    Multilingual proficiency relevant to SCAs operations (eg French, Spanish, Arabic, other)
