    Assisting in the Resource Centre with daily routines and administrative tasks.
    Assisting in Knowledge management initiatives.
    Assisting in the indexing and systematic arrangement of Resource Centre collections.
    Assisting with updating content on the Resource Centre portal and library database.
    Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Minimum Requirements

    A 3rd or 4th Year Student taking a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science/ Information Science/ Knowledge Management or related studies (currently not in session).
    Basic IT and knowledge of automated Library systems will be an added advantage.

    Reporting to the Director Market Operations, the selected candidate will be responsible to;

    Provide planning and logistical support to the directorate;
    Undertake administrative and support duties including mailing, scanning and copying to all the functions within the directorate;
    Prepare and format documents including correspondence, schedules, reports, drafts, memos and emails;
    Document management including referencing, filing, maintaining document movement registers among others;
    Provide administrative support to the Directorate meetings, maintaining departmental leave and working schedules, scheduling appointments among others;
    Ensure cleanliness of the Directorate offices is maintained and liaise with ICT to ensure all the Directorate office equipment are serviceable;
    Requisition office supplies from the stores, allocate as appropriate and maintain records;
    Maintain an inventory of all the assets, supplies and other facilities of the Directorate and requisition all office utilities from the stores and other external providers for purposes of smooth office operations and report on serviceability of directorate facilities, equipment, fixtures and fittings;
    Manage calls on behalf of the Director, as well as respond to other inquiries and coordinate internal and external communication/correspondences relating to the Directorate;
    Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, travel and logistical arrangements for the Director;
    Undertake Reception duties as and when required;

    Maintaining database of matters received with enforcement considerations;
    Liaise with relationship managers of different licences to confirm position of matters under enforcement;
    Preparing communications with clients, market participants and stakeholders;
    Assisting in arrangement and reporting on meetings with clients and various stakeholders;
    Preliminary review of investigation reports and preparing draft enforcement recommendations;
    Assisting in the Preparation of Notices to show cause and Infringement Notices for review;
    Conducting research and drafting legal opinions;
    Assisting in preparing enforcement reports as may be required from time to time; and

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Law or completion of the Advocate Training Program at the Kenya School of Law.

    Job Purpose
    Reporting to the Manager, Information Communication & Technology, the successful candidate will be responsible for client and server computer systems administration, including configuration, coordination, maintenance, troubleshooting, usage monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures within the authority.
    Key Duties & Responsibilities
    The ideal candidate will be expected to:

    Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of server resources, services and applications, reviewing system and application logs for preemptive fault detection and resolution;
    Coordinate and strictly enforce the implementation of user and server data backup and recovery procedures to protect against loss of valuable data and information;
    Develop and maintain installation and configuration management, systems documentation, baselines and procedures;
    Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks;
    Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency;
    Conduct maintenance and repair of hardware or software failures;
    Conduct and manage the client/server operating system patches and updates through the windows server update service or equivalent;
    Provide client user support for escalated helpdesk issues;
    Document system faults/problems and the respective resolutions for future reference.

    Minimum Qualifications
    The ideal candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field;
    Systems administration/Systems Engineer certification in Linux/Microsoft

    Required Experience
    A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in systems administration experience
