    Assistant Internal Auditor Radiographer / Sonographer Debtors Officers Resident Anaesthesiologist Customer Service Manager

    Overall Responsibility: Reporting to the Internal Auditor the successful candidate will be responsible for facilitation of audits improvements in operations and provide independent and objective assurance and consulting services agreed by Head of Audit and the Board.
    He / She will also contribute to the achievement of AKHK objectives by instilling systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
    Other Responsibilities

    Undertake audit assignments as per the Annual Audit Plan from initial contact with client to preparation of reports.
    Draft audit program for each audit to be agreed by the Head of Audit or Regional Internal Auditor.
    Undertake analysis of financial and non-financial data, evaluate the results for reporting to the client.
    Document key business processes to assist in evaluation of reliability, integrity and effectiveness of information systems.
    Formulate, recommend and implement recommendations for improvements to systems and procedures following audits.
    Follow up audit recommendations to ensure that clients are taking agreed actions to improve systems and controls.

    Requirements

    Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) with CPA(K)
    Internal Audit Certification
    Three (3) years’ experience in Internal Audit.
    Excellent interpersonal, organizational and public relations skills.
    Microsoft Office as well as substantive experience in data mining & analytics skills.
    Ability to work under minimum supervision.
    High degree of confidentiality

    The Imports Officer will coordinate all import shipments and liaise with the supplier for pre-shipments. inspection and make sure all required documentation is in place before arrival of shipment.
    The specific duties will include:
    Source and negotiate for the best rates for freight, clearance, shipment and select right clearing agents/freight forwarder.
    Ensure correct clearing procedures and standards are applied as per the Government of Kenya regulatory requirements
    Assist in managing and following up clearing agents on quick clearance of consignments
    Generate purchase orders, GRN’s for importation costs incurred in accordance with stipulated policies and procedures
    Monitor and co-ordinate consignments from point of origin to point of discharge
    Ensure all permits from the relevant regulatory authorities such as PPB, NCK, KMLTTB, KEBS inspection bodies have been applied and approved to facilitate smooth clearance
    Ensure registration of clinical items are done with relevant authorities where required
    Requirements Applicants should have a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management. S/he should have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant imports experience. The ideal candidate should understand concepts, practices and procedure in import and export activities for air and sea freight including cargo tracing and shipment              documentation. Knowledge in Kenyan importation laws / regulation is mandatory. Candidate should be having excellent inter-personal and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, good negotiation skills and have attention to detail.
