  • Plumber (Locum) Carpenter (Locum) Information Technology Officer Night Supervisor

    Overall Responsibility: Reporting to the Maintenance supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of the plumbing systems in the main hospital and outreach centers.
    Key Responsibilities

    Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems
    Respond to plumbing calls from our general contracting team
    Install plumbing systems in new construction
    Work with other contractors to obtain permits for plumbing work to be performed
    Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection the first time

    Requirements

    Certificate in Plumbing (Grade III)
    At least 2 years’ experience
    Certificate in Building Construction is an added advantage.
    In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems
    Understanding of the current regulations within the field
    Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
    Able to work both independently and as part of a team

    Requirements

    Seven years of experience, two of which must have been in a supervisory role.
    An excellent theoretical and practical understanding of entire Supply chain including tendering, negotiation contract management and stocks management;
    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop/maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers;
    Good financial awareness, project management, Strategic leadership and management skills.
    Proficiency in MS Office packages.

  • Sonographer – Migori Medical Centre Sonographer – Bungoma Medical Centre Data Officer Laboratory Technologist

    Overall Responsibility: Reporting to the Radiology Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, high quality diagnostic imaging services through the use of modern imaging technology that includes computerized X-ray machine and multi probe ultrasound unit.
    Key Responsibilities

    To undertake initial patient evaluation, provide diagnostic radiographs, perform ultrasound and Doppler examinations by capturing images of diagnostic value.
    Ensure radiation safety measures and protection are observed to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety to patient’s staff and self.
    Ensure scheduled maintenance, and calibration of medical equipment’s are in place and followed.
    Ensure accurate documentation and care of patients’ records.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    Higher Diploma in Ultrasound
    Two (2) years working experience in similar position
    Registered and licensed by The Kenya Radiation Protection Board
    A member of Society of radiographers in Kenya (SORK).
    High level of confidentiality and discretion.
    Trustworthiness.
    Good communication skills.

    Registered and licensed with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
    At least one year post internship experience
    ATLS and ACLS certification will be an added advantage
