Network Engineers (4 Positions)

Key Responsibilities

Understand our client’s network architecture.
Successful candidates will each be required to set up LAN and WAN networks, as well as VoIP, VPNs, and other network links that facilitate integrations across various platforms with the core systems of our clients.
Perform configuration changes to network routers, switches, and wireless devices.
Utilize configuration and monitoring tools to monitor the network to automate and ensure optimum performance, identify network issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Maintain internet connections, and work with other teams in the department by assisting in integration, maintenance, and problem resolutions of network services.
Maintain proper documentation related to network setups and configurations.
Ensure delivery of ICT projects within the time, budget, and resource constraints.
Escalate any major risks that are related to individual processes, and follow all Health and Occupation Safety measures while maintaining global standards of quality.
Prepare scheduled reports on the performance of the network among other assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

A MINIMUM of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science is required or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience in a network support role.
The successful candidate MUST be able to carry out full IT network installation and configuration.
MUST have 4 years of experience with structured network cabling, network IP management and routing, firewall integration, tunneling, VLANs, and network management protocols
The successful candidate should have hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices (routers and switches from vendors such as Cisco, Huawei, HP, and Netgear, among others.
Should possess strong interpersonal skills, good communication, and superior presentation skills both spoken and written, and are results-driven individuals.
Experience operating and maintaining ISP-grade last-mile networks will be added an added advantage.
The successful candidate should be a holder of VALID professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and Network+ is a MUST have. ITIL Service Level Management certification is an added advantage.
The successful candidate should possess excellent analytical and quantitative reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Project Assistant – HVAC Department

We, LED Power Technologies (E.A.) K LTD, due to structural changes, client expansion, and success in securing new HVAC projects, we are now seeking Project Assistant for our HVAC/Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Works to help support the delivery of projects.
Reporting directly to the Company Engineering Manager, responsibilities will be to:

Plan, assign resources, coordinate, supervise, and keep records of ALL assigned Company HVAC resources & Projects (Reactive & Proactive)
Actively lead the implementation of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy as well as Quality Compliance by monitoring, reviewing, and ensuring all work is done safely as well as arranging increased supervision for new staff.
Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring that Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice HVAC Project maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance in that department.
Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing HVAC team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements in all assigned HVAC Projects
Maintains accountability of all HVAC-issued materials, assets, and parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, and invoice approvals, and manages the department budget including approval of all OPEX-related expenses within the company range
Acts as a quality compliance Officer for ALL assigned Projects, Performing ad-hoc quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely.
Developed Company Projects maintenance program to satisfy all warranty specifications, recognize potential equipment failures, make repairs recommendations, and supervise the implementation of the same Liaison with the Engineering manager
Surveys, assisting with bid proposals, BoQ formulation, and any other Business development functions as required.
Perform any other assigned duty by the Company CEO.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma in HVAC/ Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from a recognized institution.
MUST have a MINIMUM 7-YEARS OF proven HVAC background with experience in designing, installing, and maintenance of complex HVAC systems in hazardous or critical environments such as explosive atmospheres, close environmental control, chemical atmospheres, clean rooms, and laboratories, mission-critical areas, etc.
Must have a very good understanding of electrical principles, standards, and safety measures.
Good oral, written, Project management skills, Time management skills, Team Player, and presentational skills with a particular aptitude for reports writing & documentation.
Ability to manage projects from conception to completion including all labor & Material requirements.
Knowledge of Electrical Systems and having a Valid Driving License are added advantages.

Electrical and Solar Project Engineer

LED Power Technologies (E.A.) K LTD is looking for an Experienced Electrical & Solar Project Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of compliant Solar PV and battery storage systems. The successful candidate should have a very keen understanding of structural and electrical engineering concepts, and the candidate must have EPRA T3 qualifications.
Minimum Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
MUST have at least 5 Years’ experience in both INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SOLAR PV SYSTEMS AMONG OTHER ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING tasks as well.
Must have proven experience in a supervisory capacity.
MUST have vast exposure working with Electrical Power Supply Systems, Electronics, and Control Systems.
Must be able to Create, review and modify project drawings in AutoCAD and custom software tools
Coordinate with Site Surveyors, Project Management, Electricians, and Sales teams to complete projects according to customers’ expectations within strict deadlines
Complete electrical and structural designs for solar PV projects within a production-based environment
Research, document and comply with local and national codes and requirements in project jurisdictions
Create project bills of quantities
Utilize software systems to record progress and logs of various tasks
Organizing photos and documentation for each project
Coordinate meetings with HSEQ, Procurement, electrical, and roofing teams in preparation for upcoming projects
Communicate with procurement to ensure project-related equipment is procured prior to construction
After construction, provide support as required to create as-built drawings for the commissioning & service team and take projects to closeout.
Having a Valid Driving License is an added advantage.
