    Job Purpose:

    Qualifications And Skills

    5+ years’ experience as a SRE/DevOps Lead
    Experience in managing SRE/DevOps/Software engineers
    Strong oral and written communication skills
    Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
    Demonstrable experience in Containerization-Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes)
    Demonstrable experience in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, circle CI, Jenkins etc.
    Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible)
    Familiarity with Linux and UNIX systems and command line system administration such as Bash, VIM, SSH (secure shell).
    Basic scripting skills (preferably Golang, bash, shell, etc.,)
    Experience in monitoring and analyzing infrastructure performance using standard performance monitoring tools – Dynatrace, Azure Application insights, Prometheus, SolarWinds

    Qualifications

    THE PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
    The Objective of Debt Collection Officer is to monitor loan, overdrafts and credit cards portfolio allocated to him/her to ensure its quality is in line with the bank’s projections and that any variations are promptly addressed.  He/ she is to properly plan and execute accurate collection of customer’s accounts in arrears including calling up customers to ensure minimal slippage of loans to the next classification, He/She is responsible for timely and maximum recovery of loans in arrears in as little time as possible and with minimal cost.
    The Debt Collection officer will have to be polite and sensitive towards customers while at the same time remaining committed to their purpose with persistence.
    Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency are extremely important for success in this task.
    KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

    Adhering to set policies and procedures, demonstrate good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers for collections and consultation purposes.
    Negotiate on phone, email follow ups and branch visits for account resolution and payments, and accurately input and documents actions within the collection systems while maintaining performance and productivity standards
    Walk with the customers through keeping track of accounts allocated to you to identify the outstanding arrears and calling customers to inform them for payments.
    Analyse accounts in arrears and negotiate payment plan with customers as promptly as possible.
    Notarize discussion and agreement with the customer and maintain follow up date.
    Maintain up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
    May be required to support other queues to facilitate teamwork in the department.
    Escalate and assists other team members with calls as needed.
    Serves as a resource/subject matter expert and may provide training to fellow team members
    May be required to initiate external contact with customers and may perform advanced loss prevention activities (field customer visits and account settlement) or administrative work.
    Regularly Share Loan Arrears reports with Branch officers and management for Collections coordination purposes
    Encourage the culture of saving by encouraging customers to make regular deposits for savings and not only making deposit to pay the loan.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Provide support to the Group CIO Payments Director in achieving the unit’s Strategic Plan including reviewing performance against the strategic objectives and tracking the team’s work plan by division.
    Lead in developing business performance scorecards, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals, analyses and reviews for regular reporting on the team’s performance. KPIs will also reflect the efficiency, effectiveness, and continual improvement of service delivery.
    Provide recommendations for driving enhanced performance using business change models to estimate current process capabilities, analyse performance measures, identify improvements, and quantify outcomes.
    Coordinate inputs on planning and performance from the various Payments Tech Business departments.
    Prepare a monthly performance pack and prepare minutes with follow up actions emanating from the monthly performance meeting.
    Prepare quarterly performance reviews for senior management.
    Work with the Data Office to develop, inspect, mine, and model data to raise productivity, improve decision making and identify product/market opportunities to gain competitive advantage.
    Work with the Research and Development team to keep abreast with and where agreed, adopt latest innovation trends e.g., solutions/work efficiency models etc.
    Work closely with the technical product management team to analyse critical product delivery practices, identify efficiencies attainable through process alignment and/or improvement.
    Coordinate the closure of key audit and risk issues with respective departmental heads, and ensure the team is aware of key fraud and risk requirements.
    Prepare an action log for weekly stand-up meetings and make follow-ups for action implementations and updates.
    Provide support to the Group CIO Payments Director in the preparation and coordination of submissions as required (business planning proposals, resourcing, budget updates).
    Assist with the unit’s budget preparation and monitoring, including preparation of reports to key stakeholders.
    Establish and maintain communication links/processes/systems, and drive cross-functional collaboration with relevant key units and senior stakeholders e.g., the Group CIO’s office.
    Contribute to department/ad hoc tasks.
    Degree level qualifications in business and/or project management or a related discipline.
    Min. 5-10 years working experience and/or a proven track record with performance management and business planning/management (financial management and KPI reporting experience).
    Minimum three years supervisory or managerial experience.
    Experience in development of budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
    You have strong analytical skills, a passion for numbers.
    Advanced skills in developing captive presentations, with experience using visualisation tools.

    Own and extend the business’s data pipeline through the collection, storage, processing, and transformation of large data- sets and oversee the process for creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture and creating databases optimized for performance, implementing schema changes, and maintaining data  architecture standards across the required databases.
    Oversee the assembly of large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements and align data architecture with business requirements.

    8 to 10 years Experience in Technology handling data monetization; Including; big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
    Experience with data     pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc. Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift.
