Responsible for taking money in form of cash, check, or credit card from patrons in exchange for food or services . Scans items provides change , balances drawer and processes card transactions.
Cashier Job Responsibilities
Takes customers orders
Dispenses correct change.
Take money in the form of cash, credit card.
Issue receipts, refunds and credits.
Resolve amount discrepancies.
Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and
that is adequate change.
Answers customers questions and get a manager if answer does no resolve problem.
Qualifications for the Cashier Job
Should be dependable
Should have high levels of professionalism
Should be customer centric
Should have keen attention to detail.
Should posses general math skills.
Education Requirements
Should at least have CPA 1
