    Key Responsibilities

    Manage and coordinate the design, development, and implementation of the agreed upon set of activities including: Phases, Task Orders and Work Plans;
    Act as a mediator between all parties involved: such as DAI, USAID, Hedayah, Kenyan Government, Training Provider and the appointed coordinators;
    Support team by overseeing the progress of the different task orders, following up on the agreed deliverables and monitoring the preparation of the implementation plans;

    Ensure the appropriate MM&E in collaboration with the program coordinators.

    Qualification and Experience

    Master’s Degree in International Studies, Development, Political Science, or related field;
    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience including at least 2 years in a management role or managing project teams;
    Experience in managing USAID / DOS funded projects;
    Familiar with USAID Policies and Procedures to ensure operations & compliance;
    Experience in East Africa region; Preferably in Kenya;
    Experience in program development and management, grants management, budget monitoring, project management, MM&E;
    Experience on the field with local partners in medium to high risk environments;
    CVE relevant experience.

    Position Overview:
    The Psychosocial Counselor (Psychologist) will provide technical support and leadership required for the successful implementation of all psychosocial support activities of the Heshima Kenya programs. She/ he will provide one on one counseling and group counseling sessions for vulnerable children, children at risk to reduce the past trauma experienced and undertake staff debriefing. The Counselor will work closely with the Social/Case workers on providing psychological support and report to the relevant Program Managers.
    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Participate in the development of professional, effective and appropriate psychosocial programming, including direct individual and group counseling support.
    Provide professional and confidential services to SGBV and trauma survivors.
    Assist in the development and provision of psychosocial activities within Heshima Kenya’s project areas within the Urban Refugee Program.
    Supervise and provide counseling training and technical counseling support to social workers directly involved with the psychosocial component of Heshima Kenya program.
    Assist with preparing all relevant reports regarding Heshima Kenya’s psychosocial activities.
    Ensure timely implementation of psychosocial program activities.
    Lead awareness-raising and/or sensitization campaigns on the Heshima Kenya’s psychosocial activities and other SGBV related services in collaboration with the Social Workers.
    Lead the team of Social Workers in the development of monthly outreach plans based on case trends and children’s needs.
    Provide one on one counselling services (6-8 sessions per person) to Safe House residents with personal and social challenges such as conflict, parenting, SGBV issues, death/grief, and dealing with post- traumatic stress disorder and other.
    Provide group therapy sessions for the residents on weekly basis
    Secondary referrals to other psychosocial providers
    Provide extensive and comprehensive programmes and assessments for stress management, depression, anxiety, bipolar management and other mental illnesses
    Analyse the behavioral trends, patterns of the referred cases.
    Develop and monitor a case management system for monitoring of referred cases
    Compile counseling monthly and quarterly reports on the referred cases and provide best solutions to cases.
    Perform any other professional duty assigned the supervisor.

    skills & Qualifications:

    A Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Psychology or a higher diploma in Counselling
    Experience in the provision of psychosocial services to refugees/asylum seekers is an advantage
    Good report writing and communication skills

    Primary Purpose
    This position is responsible for the Cultural Orientation division’s day to day management and provides effective and efficient field mission planning, administrative support, and logistical support while adhering to current RSC Africa standard operating procedures and PRM guidelines.

    Essential Duties
    Compliance

    Ensures all CO training functions strictly adhere to the PRM, RPC, CWS and RSC Africa policies, guidelines and procedures.
    Ensures development, implementation, dissemination, monitoring and adherence of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cultural orientation.
    Conducts job function observations of CO staff to ensure compliance is met and identifies any areas of improvement or training needs.

    Data Management and Analysis

    Closely monitors the movement of cases through the RSC Africa refugee pipeline, and ensures cases receive CO according to the PRM Cooperative Agreement.

    ACDI/VOCA is promptly seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Lead for the upcoming USAID Title II Development Food Security Activity (DFSA) in Kenya. The DFSA in Kenya is anticipated to be a multi-year project to address the underlying causes of chronic food insecurity. The activity will aim to sustainably reduce levels of acute malnutrition and increase food security in the most vulnerable households in northern Kenya. To achieve this, the ACDI/VOCA team will ensure the implementation of interventions designed to increase incomes, ensure access to nutritious food year-round, improve household nutrition and hygiene practices, and strengthen governance in communities affected by shocks and stresses.
    The Monitoring and Evaluation Lead, a member of senior management team, will play a critical role in generation and analysis of quality evidence and data through monitoring, assessments, and evaluations. S/he will lead design and development of monitoring systems, conduct data assurance and effectively promote evidence-based program management.

    Provide technical leadership for M&E to the project team to ensure USAID and Food for Progress M&E requirements are met
    Guide data collection, management of the data, and display of the results including reporting and dissemination, building capacity of M&E and technical staff, and ensuring compliance

    Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as economics, agricultural/development economics, statistics, biostatistics; nutrition, applied sociology, anthropology, or other relevant subject with 8 years relevant experience, or a PhD in any of the stated field of study above, with at least six years relevant work experience required
    Significant training in quantitative methods required
    Demonstrated experience in leading the M&E of a large and complex program required

    Job Description
    Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Manager shall ensure the execution of HR policies/procedures, co-ordinate talent management and development, and handle the day to day operations of the HR department.
    Duties And Responsibilities

    Working closely with the Head of HR to execute a recruitment process that attracts high caliber employees while adapting to the fluid capacity requirements of the organization.
    Partnering with departmental heads to facilitate career development through external and in-house training programmes tailored to enhance career development
    Managing the performance improvement process with an aim to ensuring its success
    Ensuring organizational compliance of all HR policies and procedures and ensuring that the policies remain relevant and where necessary propose changes and/ or improvements
    Overseeing staff welfare programmes and implementing programmes to increase staff engagement including administering occupational health, staff safety and wellness programmes
    Working closely with the finance department to process the organization’s payroll, ensuring all payroll reporting is done in a timely manner
    Representing the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
    Ensuring effective implementation of the disciplinary and grievance procedures, as applicable
    Maintaining HR and labor law knowledge by tracking changes in Kenyan law and participating in forums that support knowledge transfer of best practices

    Successful Candidate Will Have
    Qualifications:

    A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or
    Bachelor’s degree with a higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
    Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in Human Resources with at least 1 year in an Assistant Manager or equivalent role.
    Experience with assessing talent management, executing performance management systems, and executing staff development plans.
    Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite applications
    The candidate should be a registered member of IHRM.
