    About the Job

    KNCCI is seeking to engage Program Relationship Officer who will be based at the KNCCI HQ offices to support in customer relationship management for the program and oversee implementation of the JGP program at county level. This role will provide a full range of implementation assistance at all phases of the program cycle and will support in program sensitization, mobilization, communication, data collection and monitoring. The holder of the position will work closely with the Project Field Officer and the Chapter Leadership to ensure proper implementation of the project.

    Responsibilities

    Coordinate and supervise the Project Field Officers to ensure that they meet their expectations.
    Develop and implement customer relationship management strategies to support awareness and growth of the Jiinue Program within the KNCCI Chapters.
    Establish problem solving mechanism to support in resolving any arising issues from the Chapter offices.
    Oversee mobilization and induction of eligible young micro-entrepreneurs into the project across the County Chapters and ensuring that they are equipped with all the necessary information on the project products and services.
    Prepare/lead the preparation of progress reports in compliance with the GBF & JGP monitoring and evaluation guidelines, including (but not limited to) periodic status/progress status, annual project performance reports including monitoring of project: milestones; financial data; procurement data; risk assessment & compliance.
    Act as a strong liaison between project team and other departments (supply chain, Logistics, HR, Admin & Finance etc.) to ensure collaborative processes move smoothly and swiftly.
    Liaising with the Field Officers in scheduling, organizing and planning for training activities within the county. This will include creating a training schedule, coordinating with the county JET, identifying cost effective training venues and ensuring all logistics are in place.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related fields.
    At least 5 years of experience in customer service, sales, account management or a related field.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.
    Customer-oriented mindset
    Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Strong organizational and planning skills

    Program Strategy, Design and Development

    Program Management, Oversight and Implementation

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including donors and partners.
    Work in collaboration with Program Officers to ensure that program implementation is managed closely through the development of structured work plans, indicator tracking and monitoring plans.
    Provide timely and adequate programme implementation support to Head Office, branches and partners while ensuring quality delivery of new, existing and complex projects
    Support Program Officers and branches to fulfill their budget-holder expectations. Ensure project expenditures are monitored and corrective action is initiated and tracked where required.
    Convene grant review meetings where program performance is reviewed and corrective action taken as needed, and promote program integration.
    Deliver annual YWCA programme budget in terms of financial results and output targets.
    Provide leadership to ensure timely and high-quality progress reports as per YWCA and donor guidelines.
    Provide proper representation in cluster and other coordination forums at national and regional levels.
    Facilitate learning, exchange and effective collaboration with YWCA Kenya.
    Set performance objectives with all supervisees, and conduct scheduled performance evaluations.
    Provide constructive input into dedicated management teams and forums

    Representation and Inter-agency

    Represent YWCA in inter-agency coordination meetings, cluster meetings and NGO Consortium meetings.
    Advocate for YWCA’s vision, mission and thematic objectives in external forums and ensure alignment with broader strategic goals.

    Team Management

    Provide direction and guidance to sub-recipients and staff on compliance issues, procurement standards/requirements and other administrative, financial, HR and logistical questions.

    Level of Education/Academic qualification

    Master’s degree in the field of Social Science, Gender Studies, International development or related social science discipline.
    Five years’ experience in leadership positions involving resource mobilization, direction over relevant gender, governance, advocacy among others.

    Other Requirements

    Proven track record in providing effective leadership and management of donor partners, units of operations as well as ability to manage a wide span of control.
    Demonstrated experience in new business development (Scoping, consortium building, proposal writing, grants management, budgeting among others
    Experience working with Young Women and Girls-centered activities preferred.
    Ability to work with diverse workforce and stakeholders.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
    Flexibility to travel to other duty stations.

    Qualifications

    Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Develop/update the KPLP Youth Led Organizations (YLO) Organization Development/Technical Capacity Strengthening strategy.
    Identify, develop and obtain YLO input in the capacity building materials to address needs and context of each YLO.
    Collaborate with regional and national team members to develop and implement training programs and workshops with grantee YLO focused on both organizational and technical capacity strengthening.
    Mentor YLOs to participate and present in cross-partner regional and national learning workshops including arranging logistics, travel and budget management for the workshops.
    Facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned among grantee organizations and other stakeholders, networking, advocacy and effective communication with stakeholders that can support the YLOs sustainability efforts.
    Tailor development and delivery of capacity strengthening activities to needs and context of each grantee organization.

    The responsibility of the producer will be:

    Conceptualize and plan for the World Food Day video documentary from start to finish.
    Develop pre-production script and story board, to be presented to World Food Day publicity committee, which will guide the filming.
    Develop post-production script that will guide the editing of the documentary.
    Arranging frequent meetings with the stakeholders and booking all the necessary interviews.
    Collaborate with Nandi County communication team and BvAT team to determine the filming schedule and timelines.
    Coordinate all aspects of the documentary production, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
    Sourcing various locations in collaboration with the BvAT team and the Nandi County communication team.
    Co-direct together with the BvAT videography officer on-camera interviews and B-roll during shoots.

    Consultancy period

    Deliverables
