    The Customer Service Officer is responsible for the delivery of effective and quality customer service to our member and future members, internal customers and B2B partners by supporting the Regional Head of Customer Services and CHQ Customer Service by handling all the residual transactional activities in Eastern Africa and the rest of Africa.

    Reporting to the Regional Head of Customer Service, on a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

    Handle transactional enquiries received from walk-in customers, via phone, email, WhatsApp etc.
    To resolve customer problems / complaints by applying the appropriate customer handling skills on the spot and escalate the case to Regional Head of Customer Services when necessary.
    To feedback customer comments to the Regional Head of Customer Service – Africa for service improvement.
    Forward enquiries on local activities to relevant staff members.

    Job Summary

    Reporting to the GHRBP Africa/EMEA, the position holder will support with HR and administration, assuring the quality, impact and effectiveness. S/he will update and oversee the implementation of policies, procedures and systems for administration and HR. This role will primarily work with the GHRBP in providing day-to day HR generalist role (estimated 30% effort), additionally, support the Global HR team – GHR AVP and CGA Technologies on HR matters (estimated 70% effort).   • Analyst and Research Lead, Somali Dialogue Platform (SDP)

    The Analyst and Research Lead is responsible for producing timely, accurate and accessible analysis of the political context in Somalia and ensuring the effective design and delivery of the Somali Dialogue Platform’s (SDP or ‘the Platform’) research products. This includes products to inform SDP’s own programming and more effective dialogue between Somali stakeholders. The Analyst and Research Lead also provides support for the dissemination of the Platform’s research and analysis, including organising events. The post-holder is responsible for ensuring the relevance and quality of the research and analysis products of SDP’s Somali partners, as well as supporting their long-term capacity development in this area.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Lead the delivery of contextual political analysis to inform the Platform’s programme and other stakeholders (50%)

    Monitor political developments and trends in Somalia and maintain an up-to-date analysis of the context, drawing on both open sources and a network of contacts.
    Produce quality, timely and accessible analysis products on political issues in Somalia to inform the SDP’s programme and other stakeholders, including both ad hoc and regular pieces.
    Manage and coordinate SDP’s local Somali researchers and input from partners for the Platform’s analysis products.

    Duties and responsibilities

    Establish and strengthen M&E systems to ensure the project achieve the outcomes.
    Oversee the creation of resources that provide technical assistance to support evaluation efforts.

    As a key member of the Co-Impact team, you will play a crucial role in executing functions related to program management, conducting data analysis and impact assessments of program partners initiatives, assisting with the engagement and relationship-building efforts with both prospective and current funding partners.     Program Management: Sourcing and Supporting PPs (30%)

    Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    Over 10 years of experience advancing gender equality with an intersectional approach, and strengthening government or market systems in education, health, economic opportunity, and women’s leadership. 
    Extensive experience in impact assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and using data to extract actionable insights for decision-making. 
    Proficient in learning, measurement and evaluation (LME) frameworks, with the ability to assess the impact of complex, multi-year initiatives. 
    Fundraising experience and/or knowledge of the funding context in the region. 
    Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and reports tailored to diverse audiences, including funders, board members, staff, and the public. 
    Demonstrated success in building and nurturing relationships with funders, communicating program impact, and securing ongoing support. 
    Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build partnerships with grantees, funders, government, and civil society organizations.

    SoCha is seeking a Senior Researcher and Systems Analyst to lead a comprehensive systems and context analysis of the Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia Transport Corridor (LAPSSET) project. The analysis will examine the political, economic, and social factors influencing the project’s implementation, aiming to provide insights for conflict-sensitive, equitable, and sustainable development. The study will employ qualitative research methods, including literature reviews, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions, to explore stakeholder experiences, governance challenges, and social impacts.     Roles and Responsibilities:

    Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research, including designing, analyzing, and managing research projects to assess infrastructure’s socio-economic and political effects, especially in marginalized or conflict-prone regions.

    Purpose

    The key purpose of this evaluation is to review and document the experience of implementation from the past two years to inform future strategic decision making.
    Sightsavers is seeking a consultant to conduct a comprehensive evaluation aimed at understanding the models and approaches that demonstrate effective pathways towards inclusive employment, contributing to the evidence and knowledge base of Sightsavers’ economic empowerment portfolio. The evaluation will place a particular emphasis on how the design and delivery of programmes might be enhanced for future programmatic work including a deep dive into two specific project approaches, IT academies and agriculture.
    The consultancy will be expected to evaluate the project level data and materials as well as primary data collected and consider if and how the projects have contributed towards the programme theory of change.
