    Minimum Requirements:

    Minimum of a Master’s Degree in public health with M and E specialization, demographics, social sciences or a related field.
    Minimum of 5 years direct work experience as a senior expert in monitoring and evaluation in the health sector.
    Demonstrated expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, operations research, Health Management Information Systems, reporting, data quality assessments, data analysis, and presentation.
    Demonstrated strong management, coordination, teamwork, and planning skills, with proven ability to function effectively with multiple host-country counterparts in both the public and NGO sectors.
    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level Government of Kenya officials, USAID, NGOs, private sector groups, cooperating agencies, and donor organizations.
    Experience working with USG programs and clear understanding of the regulations therein is strongly advised.

    Regularly conduct inspection for quality risk factors that includes damage, spoilt and expired drugs, including storage conditions, records, reordering, stock rotation FEFO,FIFO and safety.

    Requirements:

    Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poison Board
    Diploma holder from a recognized institution.
    At least 2 years of working experience in a similar position
    Experience in dispensing ART drugs.
    Good customer care skills

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

    Program Leadership

    Maintain positive, effective working relationships with project partners, including local Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) and Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs), Ministry of Health (MOH), and County Health Management Teams (CHMTs) as well as other implementing agencies and donor representatives in the region in collaboration with the Country Director.
    Work with HealthRight headquarters Program Directors on new business development (concept notes, proposals etc), program quality, and technical depth based on best practices, context, effectiveness, and sustainability of impact.
    Work closely with CHMTs to develop agreements and work plans and foster collaboration for programs in line with policies and priorities set by County Governments, MOH and HealthRight funders.
    Serve as primary liaison to the MOH Technical Working Groups and Ethics Committee to facilitate project implementation and advance all HealthRight program priorities at the county and national levels in close coordination with the Country Director.

    Operations Management

    Provide technical leadership and oversight for Kenya projects’ implementation to ensure quality of programming and monitor program reporting for all country projects as required by HealthRight, donors and partners.
    Ensure that the project adheres to all Ministry of Health protocols at the health facility and county levels, in collaboration with the County Health Management Teams.Maintain compliance with all project donors, government and HealthRight’s finance, logistics, procurement, and personnel policies.Provide technical guidance on the design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and dissemination of new research projects.Update the Country Director on all security and other relevant issues that may affect the work of Healthright- Kenya in the country especially in counties of operation.

    Team leadership

    Directly line manage all key project managers.

    In partnership with the Country Director, ensure efficient cross-functional synergies to facilitate first rated integrated management of HealthRight programs, budgets, human resources and relationships.

    Communications and Advocacy

    Present the work of Healthright – Kenya in public fora (i.e. national, regional and global conferences) as needed.
    Identify opportunities to share HealthRight Kenya’s program successes, including data, with local, Provincial and national partners regularly (i.e. journal manuscripts, meetings, etc.)
    Represent HealthRight Kenya in national-level working groups, HENNET, and donor events.

    INTRODUCTION & MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
    Greenpeace Africa is stepping into the most hotly contested development issue in Africa – agriculture. African agriculture will either follow the chemical intensive industrial model which would hand control of the sector to global agribusiness, or support smallholder African farmers to use locally available resources to grow diverse and healthy food. You would be joining a campaign team to provide campaign expertise with respect to a specialized campaign issue in relation to organic farming, biodiversity, geo-mapping, plastics and waste management, and anti-coal and renewable energy solutions. Staying abreast of the latest developments of the issues and related policy space. In doing so, working with project teammates to develop and implement effective project plans and strategies to bring positive changes to an environmental problem.
    Main responsibilities
    1. Strategy Development
    Provide expertise and input, on the development of the campaign strategy, campaign projects, and funding proposals, where relevant; and keep abreast of the external debate and trends in order to identify campaign/public engagement opportunities, and ensure the campaign strategy has realistic objectives whilst maintaining viability and potential.
    2. Campaign Project Management
    Manage specific projects within the campaign to a successful conclusion. Include appropriate internal and external actors. Project work is likely to involve all or some of the following techniques (often involving teamwork): public communication and engagement activities, media work, collaboration with other organisations, research, political and corporate work and the use of legal and scientific approaches to issues.
    3. Greenpeace Representation
    Represent Greenpeace at relevant meetings/conferences with external bodies such as media, industry, governments, NGOs, and major donors/foundations, in order to further the agreed campaign objectives.
    4. Research Coordination
    Identify commission and coordinate background investigations/ research and science needs. Provide general direction for such investigations/research and science, and participate in subsequently identifying realistic focal points/targets for the

    5. External Networks

    Skills required / qualifications

    BACKGROUND
    The Audit Assignment
    FIC is planning to engage a professional firm to carry out annual audit for the programme funds for the next two financial years (2018, 2019). The audit covers both FIC financials in Nairobi as well as the disbursed funds to the local partners.
    REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AUDITOR.
    The Audit must be conducted by a certified public accountant registered in Kenya and/or Tanzania and the firm will conduct audits in both Tanzania and Kenya, e.g. via office representation in both countries or by cooperating with a colleague in the other country.
    SCOPE OF THE AUDIT
    The objective is to audit the annual financial statement of FIC Kenya covering funds received and cost incurred in relation to the program “Decent Work and Labour Rights Program” and to the mentioned single grant projects for the two years 2018 – 2019 plus eventual other received funds.
    The first financial statement is for the period 1. January 2018 – 31. December 2018, the second is for 2019 .In total 2 financial statements and Compiled financials for the program.
    The audit is limited to partners’ income and expenditures related to the project implementation in Kenya and/or Tanzania.
    DELIVERABLES:
    Audit report
    The audit report should cover at least the following:
    FIC KENYA FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
    For each main partner a financial statement is prepared each with a separate audit report.
    For FIC KENYA a financial statement including:

    A total summary illustrating received funds and their use on program, single grants and FIC Kenya office.
    A summary of theprogramsources and uses of funds, included in a note together with the specification per partner of transferred and spent funds by main budget lines. This must be supplemented by a split of relevant cost on countries and the two components. The figures of the program must be included both for current year and accumulated.
    A summary of single grantprojects transferred funds and spending’s included in a note, specified by main budget lines, both for the current year and accumulated.
    A summary for FIC Kenya officeillustrating the spent cost and how relevant cost are allocated to the different projects/partners.
    The above 3 items may partly be included in the notes.
    A balance illustrating FIC Kenya’s financial position end of year including eventual balances with partners.
    Additional relevant information/specifications may be given as part of the notes.

    AUDIT OPINION

    Besides a primary opinion on the Project Financial Statements, the annual audit report of the Project Accounts should include a separate paragraph commenting on the accuracy and propriety of expenditures withdrawn under SOE procedures.
    Submission of the final reports to FIC is due by no later than 2 months after end each of the mentioned periods.
    Management letter, one for each period.
    To be delivered together with the audit reports.
    The management letter should include at least the following topics/issues:
    An assessment of the project’s internal control system with equal emphasis on (i) the effectiveness of the system in providing the project management with useful and timely information for the proper management of the project and (ii) the general effectiveness of the internal control system in protecting the assets and resources of the project.
    A description of any specific internal control weaknesses noted in the financial management of the project and the audit procedures followed to address or compensate for the weaknesses. Recommendations to resolve/eliminate the internal control weaknesses noted should be included.
    The management letter should also include the following:
    The categorization of audit findings by risk severity: High, Medium, or Low.
    The classification of possible causes of the audit findings.
    Comments as to whether recommendations made in the management letter for the previous audit were implemented or, if not, the implementation status;
    Partner management comments/response.
    Available Facilities and Right Access
    The auditor will have full and complete access at any time to all records and documents (including books of account, legal agreements, minutes of committee meetings, bank records, invoices and contracts etc.) and all employees of the entity. The auditor will have a right of access to involved participants and organizations, to banks, consultants, contractors and other persons or firms engaged by the project management.

    The selection process will take into consideration the following qualification:

    A firm that has been in practice for at least three years
    Firm with experience of auditing the NGO sector
