    KEY COMPETENCES

    Minimum Bachelor of Science in computer science, software engineering, programming, or equivalent
    Minimum B Plain High School Score. A score of B or Higher in STEM (Science, Technology, and Engineering & Mathematics) Subjects shall have a higher advantage.
    Proficiency in front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, React, VueJs, and Nuxt
    Proficiency in back-end web development technologies such as PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Node.js, Python, and Ruby on rails.
    Knowledge of database systems and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
    Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
    Understanding of object-oriented programming
    Experience with the design and implementation of RESTful APIs
    Understanding of code deployment tools such as Jenkins, Capistrano, and Electric Flow
    Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
    Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines.
    Experience with deploying web applications to production environments e.g., cloud

    ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

    Reports to the Technical Manager (Directly) and Executive Leadership Team.
    Works closely and collaboratively with the System Engineers, Developers, sales and account teams.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES

    Accurately maintains task details and reports on the same on a weekly basis.
    Maintains timetables and ensures all deadlines are met. Must be flexible and display initiative in working on new tasks.
    Keeps an accurate record of projects’ status and informs management of any delays or key issues.
    Administrative tasks are accomplished carefully and thoroughly, with appropriate questions asked when necessary to ensure that the job is done correctly.

    What You Will Do

    Report to the Regional Director, to help build partnerships, relationships and execute strategies to sustain our goals across the specific program.
    Work closely with the Programme Development counterparts and regional leadership, be responsible for overseeing key government relationships and programming. To do this, you’ll lead government engagement, training and stakeholder meetings.
    Ensure creation of governance committees according to core programming guidelines, and establish a regular meeting schedule.
    Ensure thorough weekly and monthly reporting to the government begins and is continued under permanent programme leadership.
    Manage and oversee all Policy and Partnerships program staff (focussed on Programme Management).
    Manage the diverse strategic stakeholder management across multiple Government departments and levels within those departments; with prominent education ecosystem stakeholders, including but not limited to the local and national teacher labour unions; and important ‘influencers’ to ensure the successful and popular launch of the government’s new programme.
    Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures for the government relations support function; monitor and evaluates program effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement;
    Map all key government officials, and create a plan for management of each;
    Work with key stakeholders on consultative efforts to drive reforms in delivery of education to underserved communities;
    Utilize lead management techniques and maintain a detailed and dynamic database of these key influencer communities while tracking progress of programme launch;

    What You Should Have

    Bachelor’s degree with superior academic performance;
    Over 6 years’ experience in government program delivery or working in account management or as an engagement manager;
    In depth experience building and systematically managing key complex relationships and accounts to ensure program delivery in a complex, multi-stakeholder program or project;
    Previous experience working with a Ministry of Education on program delivery, preferred; If not within education, experience with another government delivery program or project, such as in health or ICT;
    Confidence, authority, and level-headed decision making needed as the leadership voice for the program;
    Knowledge of local, state and federal government issues related to the provision of primary education in the country would be preferred;

    Responsibilities

    Manages the Country’s QRx budget and P&L statements.
    Manages the key accounts teams, providing support and coaching to team members.

    Ensures that all processes are adhered to by the team and prepares country reports.
    Monitors and tracks facility revenues to ensure growth including analysis of collected data to inform decisions key to revenue growth.

    Position Summary:
    The Research and Evaluation Lead (“RE Lead”) is a senior position in the Research and Evaluation (“RE”) Department. Reporting directly to the Chief Research and Evaluation Officer (“CREO”), the RE Lead will be primarily responsible for executing strategic priorities, managing the day-to-day tasks of the research, monitoring, and evaluation staff, improving communications within the team, and will have broad oversight across various Foundation programmes.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
     

    Broadly, the RE Lead will play a critical role in building an integrated, efficient, and impactful global RE department.
    Coordinate Country Representatives, Directors, and other key management, in the design and implementation of the next generation of impact-oriented Foundation programmes. 
    Design and oversee impact evaluations of the Foundation’s current and future programmes.
    Draft presentations and programme/research summaries for both internal and external audiences.
    Occasionally represent the Foundation to external stakeholders and partners.
    Day-to-day decision-making, programme management, and initiative implementation.
    Assist the CREO in developing and overseeing the operating budget for RE activities.
    Manage and oversee the recruitment and training of RE staff members across multiple countries.
    Establish or update the Foundation’s internal guidelines for data collection and impact evaluation.
