    The officer will work under supervision of a more senior officer.
    Requirements

    Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade of C- or its equivalent qualification with at least a C in English /Kiswahili and Mathematics from a recognized institution;
    Diploma in any of the following-: Health Management, Hospital Administration, Business Administration or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

    Job Description

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Adhere to and implement policies and strategies on machinery and equipment.
    Develop maintenance and servicing schedules for all machinery and equipment.
    Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of all factory machinery and equipment.
    Inspect, test, repair, maintain and service factory machines and equipment.
    Proper record keeping of all factory machinery and equipment.
    Proper coordination of mechanics and electricians.
    Provide guidelines and basic training on proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
    Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and environment regulations.
    Ensure provision of safe working conditions within the factory and eliminate hazards and risks.
    Prepare and avail information and reports on all activities.
    Performing any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION:
    Academic Qualifications

    Professional Qualification

    Leadership course lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution
    Must have at least ten (10) years’ experience in Senior Management position in a reputable organization.
    Experience in resource mobilization will be an added advantage
    Must be compliant with the provisions of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya (clearance from KRA, Higher Loans Board, EACC, National Police Service and CRB).
    Must be a member of a professional body.
