    Duties and responsibilities will entail:-

    Policy making;
    Attending departmental meeting;
    Ensuring that staff have uniform and the necessary tools of work;
    Ensuring that drills and parade matters are coordinated;
    Supervising field officers in a given zone operational areas;
    Ensuring discipline is maintained by the noncommissioned officers;
    Receives and scrutinizes charge sheets from investigation officers;
    Peruses and advises on investigation witness and takes pleas in court;
    Safe custody of exhibit;
    Coordinates with the heads of respective enforcement in preparation of cases and witness and produce the past record of an accused person in court;
    Supervising field officers in a given zone operational areas; and
    Ensuring discipline is maintained by the NCOs.

    Qualifications
    For appointment of these grade, an officer must have:-

    Served in the grade of assistant director enforcement, or in a comparable and relevant position in the public service for a minimum period of three (3) years;
    Bachelor’s degree in the following disciplines:-security management,Criminology and fraud management, Criminology and security studies Penology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    Master’s degree in Security Management and Police Studies, security management;
    Criminology and fraud management;
    Penology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    Certificate in strategic leadership courses lasting not less than four(4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    Physical fitness as applicable to the Kenyan Police Service plus a fitness medical certificate from a recognized institution;
    Certificate of Good Conduct from the Director of Criminal Investigation
    Certificate in computer application;
    Demonstrate merit and shown ability as reflected work performance and result.

    Qualifications

    Be a Kenyan citizen;
    Have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Kenya. Possession of a master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
    Have vast knowledge and experience of not less than 10 years in the relevant field, 5 of which should be in a senior/managerial position in a large organization;
    Demonstrate thorough understanding of County development objectives of vision 2030;
    Be a strategic thinker and results-oriented;
    Have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;
    Have capacity to work under pressure to meet strict timelines;
    Have ability to work in a multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;

    Reporting to the Senior Librarian the officer is required to provide library services to the College through the acquisition, documentation, serialization and dissemination of information and materials in order to support the teaching, learning and research programmes of the College.
    Responsibilities

    Cataloguing newly acquired library material by providing multiple access points to facilitate retrieval;
    Assisting in the classification of newly acquired information material by assigning class number for purposes of shelving and retrieval;
    Undertaking abstracting by preparing summaries of articles, reports and other publication to facilitate understanding;
    Indexing journal articles by assigning descriptors to facilitate easy retrieval.
    Acquisition new information material by identifying, selecting, ordering processing, organising in line with user needs to meet the current information gaps;
    Providing information to aid in preparation of library reports and works programmes by listing activities undertaken by the library to provide information for decision making by the management;
    Conduct current awareness services by display of and/or sending to inform users of new acquisitions.
    Updating electronic database by adding new records into the systems to ensure availability, integrity and security of data and information;
    Carrying out user profiling to facilitate provision of selective dissemination of information (SDI) that will meet the needs of various users;
    Carrying out annual inventory of library resources by physically ascertaining their availability and condition to identify existing gaps; and
    Conducting information literacy by inducting new members on use of library resources to enable them be independent users.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Library Studies or Information Science or a related and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    Certificate in Computer application skills;

    Day to day inspection of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition at all times
