    Qualifications

    Be a Kenya Citizen;
    Be a holder of Degree in Law form a University recognized in Kenya or its equivalent;
    Masters Degree in Law from a recognized University will be an added advantage;
    Have a Post Graduate Diploma in legal studies from the Kenya School of Law;
    Have relevant knowledge and experience of not less than seven (7) years relevant professional experience;
    Must be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and hold a current practicing certificate;
    Meets the requirements of leadership and integrity set out in Chapter six of Constitution of Kenya;
    Be a member of Law Society of Kenya with good standing.

    Responsibilities

    Assist the Attorney General in the performance of the duties of the Attorney General;
    Organize, co-ordinate and manage the administrative and the legal functions of the Office;
    Conduct, or assign and supervise all court cases, including appeals or petitions on behalf o the Attorney General;
    Be responsible for the discipline of State Counsel and other members of staff of the Office;
    Perform such other duties as may be conferred by law or otherwise assigned to the solicitor General by the County Attorney.

    The main tasks will be processing of applications for Schengen visa as well as residence and work permits for Denmark. Furthermore, the portfolio for the visa section includes processing of applications for Danish passports, civil-law cases and legalisations.

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:-

    Collecting, receiving and analyzing programme data and assessing their impact on population issues.

    The Administration Manager will report to the Director, Human Resources & Administration for provision of administrative support services to the Authority to maximize on service delivery and support the efforts towards the achievement of corporate goals.
    Responsibilities

    Formulate and review administrative policies;
    Oversee the management of service contracts and service level agreements for outsourced services;
    Ensure provision of efficient transport services;
    Ensure records management is provided in compliance with the Legal provisions and Corporation quality standards;
    Ensure provision of all staff welfare and housekeeping services;

    Farm Manager

    Job purpose
    The farm manager is responsible for the daily planning, organization, supervision and administration of activities on the farm. He/she will also be responsible for organizing sales and purchase of livestock, farm equipment, crops and agricultural products and handling paperwork and keeping administrative records.
    Duties and responsibilities
    The duties of the farm manager shall include and is not limited to:

    Direct and coordinate worker activities such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, grading, payroll and record keeping.
    Confers with purchasers and arranges for sale of crops.
    Records information, such as production, farm management practices, and parent stock, and prepares operational reports.
    Analyzes soil to determine type and quantity of fertilizer required for maximum production.
    Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning.
    Inspects nursery and fields to determine maturity dates of crops or to estimate potential seedling damage from weather.
    Purchases machinery, equipment and supplies such as fertilizers and chemicals.
    Ensure that all the SOPs stipulated by the Head office are met
    Overall welfare of the plants in order to meet the 90% yield quota
    Assign duties, such as cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, pruning, packaging, grading, and equipment maintenance
    Management, training, and supervision of all farm staff.
    Observe workers to detect inefficient or unsafe work procedures or to identify problems and initiate corrective action as necessary
    Ensure that all the SOPs stipulated by the Head office are met
    Providing periodic operations reports to the management team, reporting on progress vs targets and production reports
    Requisition or purchase of supplies, such as insecticides, machine parts/lubricants, tools and implementation of stock control measures.
    Post-harvest processing including storage and packaging in preparation of sale
    Coordination with logistics and sales staff to ensure correct timing of harvest-ready produce

    Qualifications

    Degree in Agricultural Sciences/ Horticulture/
    Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in farm work, planting and seedling maintenance.
    A proven track record of meeting various targets set.
    Ability to work independently while constantly informing the head office in terms of reports, charts and memos.
    Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in all MS office applications.
    Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong leadership capabilities with minimal supervision and ability to take initiative.

    Eligibility And Duration
    The internship program is open to unemployed Kenyan graduates from training institutions who have completed their Degree/Diploma/Certificate courses in not more than three years and have not been exposed to work experience related to their area of study. The persons eligible for this program shall:

    Be unemployed Kenyan graduates from recognized training institutions who have completed their certificate, diploma and degree courses and have not been exposed to work experience related to their area of study;
