    Job Description

    The Project Lead will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing project activities from inception to completion. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
    In partnership with the Bio Foods Team Lead, marketing department and Dairy Development team, the Project Team lead will be responsible for overall development of go-to-market strategies for the project, production of all project marketing collateral -Information Packages, marketing content, website planning and development and planning of marketing campaigns.
    The contract will have an initial duration of 6 months and may be renewed based on the availability of funding. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance as outlined in the scope of work for the USAID Aflatoxin Awareness Project.

    Key responsibilities: –

    Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support.
    Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
    Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues as they arise.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.
    Ensure project compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
    Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving project efficiency and effectiveness.
    Oversee the development and implementation of the Communication strategy and campaign for the project as per indicated outcomes and project objectives

    Oversee the following: –

    Development of information packages
    Development of marketing content and collateral
    Development of training material
    Development of website
    Planning of marketing campaigns
    Stakeholder communication: Internal and External stakeholder engagement
    Leverage national and county engagement platforms to disseminate consumer and value chain information, to deliver against set objectives
    Monitoring and evaluation: Strictly adhere to project budget and plans, ensuring monitoring and evaluation is adhered to according to project protocol and set objectives, creating and submitting timely and accurate reports
    Organize key information dissemination platforms from grassroots-farmers, barazas, county and national platforms

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred).
    Proven experience as a Project Lead or similar role.
    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
    Knowledge and experience in the dairy industry is a plus
    Project Management Certification or a related certification is a plus
    Experience in NGO project management is a bonus

    Professional Experience

    Must have experience in driving Behaviour change marketing initiatives
    Over 10 years’ experience in project management, marketing and communications-driving marketing and communication initiatives from end-to-end.

    About the Job

    Perform the task of signing up customer, installation, battery change and cylinder change as well as any other task as may be assigned by the team leader from time to time.
    Responsible for giving honest feedback to operations on any consumer complaints.
    Responsible for the safe keeping of the support resources provided by the company to ensure smooth operations in the field (Phones, PPEs and Merchandize)
    Responsible for effectively communicating to the customers on any information that will make the experience of the customer good.
    Responsible for managing the delivery process as stipulated by the organization and use of the required technology.
    Responsible for managing the route adherence to support operations optimization by guiding the logistics on the locations for the new customers.
    In charge of the volume per sales area and increasing consumption of the Customers assigned/ allocated to them

    Execute the Customer Service & Logistics operations for Export Markets and operational processes to achieve the relevant KPIs and continuously enhance and optimize the underlying processes, fostering collaboration and communication with all relevant functions within the company and external business partners.

    Main Accountabilities

    Execution of operational processes with Customer Service (such as Order Management for export customers, and customer claims management, export documentation etc.) and Logistics (such as outbound, Inbound, stock management, import clearance, Transport and Reverse Logistics).
    Execute and deliver the KPI targets of the Consumer Unit (CU) reg. a, Customer Service & Logistics, i.e. Service Level, Days Inventory Held, Forecast Accuracy, Direct Cost of Selling, General Expenses Supply Chain, and savings as well as PIs such as Orders processed on time, etc.
    Execute all customer service and logistics related projects of export markets to drive efficiency and improved service level to Customer.
    Actively drive collaboration with other CU functions as well as functional supporters and actively promote Supply Chain and its KPIs in other functions.
    Execute all export customer service and logistics activities from hubs to customer locations within the CEWA
    Assist in collaborating with the global and regional procurement teams to ensure the appropriate information is
    provided for contracting international and local logistics customers to support operations.
    Ensure invoicing of Export Markets monthly sales orders in close collaboration with sales, external inspection partners and logistics teams at the Hubs.
    Ensure forecasting and management of Distribution cost for export markets in line with the financial calendar of the company.

    Knowledge Skills and Experience

    University or similar degree – ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related
    Min. 3 years of work experience in a corporate environment – ideally in FMCG, ideally in Supply Chain, Planning, Master Data, Customer Service or Logistics related functions
    Passion for Supply Chain with understanding of S&OP, Customer Service or Logistics related processes, principles and standards
    A “can do” attitude. High degree of motivation, initiative, thinking ahead and driving results
    Good ability to communicate with a wide range of personalities
    Analytical mind with high level of attention to detail, accuracy and ability to prioritize
    Proficient in SAP ERP – ideally MM, SD & LES – and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    Fluent in English is mandatory.
    French is of advantage.

    Job Summary

    This is a mid-level management position, forming part of the Senior Technical Working Group and will report to the Head of Programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications and advocacy strategy that promotes IPF’s impact in Public Finance Management (PFM); drive and coordinate IPF’s advocacy communications, which include communicating complex concepts in compelling ways and building strategic relationships with various mainstream media outlets to enhance IPF’s visibility efforts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Overhaul the organization’s website and social media platforms.
    Publish a consistent, quality and impactful blog series that draws on IPF content.
    Document IPF activities and milestones for internal and external purposes.
    Identify key advocacy opportunities and develop relevant content to promote IPF’s policy recommendations and research findings on Public Finance Management (PFM).
    Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, civil society organizations, and the media.
    Produce quality written and visual materials, such as press releases, media reports, brochures, and infographics that communicates IPF’s work.
    Monitor and analyze media coverage and analytics on all IPF social platforms and provide regular updates.
    Develop, publish and disseminate a weekly public finance digest.
    Support in organizing IPF events

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Development Communication or any related discipline.
    At least 5 years of experience in communications and advocacy in the NGO sector.
    An Understanding of Public Finance Management (PFM) and experience in advocacy.
    Experience in usage of computers and office software packages and graphic designing.
    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    Experience with media relations and media monitoring.

    Role Purpose

    Accountable for the DIH of finished goods, In full-service level and timely delivery of launches and projects.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
    Strategy

    Co-define and jointly execute the supply planning strategy under the supervision of the materials manager while actively validating supplier capacities & constraints in line with projected business plans.

    Process Control

    Actively participate and provide inputs in the pre-S&OP meetings to inform business decisions for the CU.
    Prepare monthly import/purchase plans and communicate in a timely manner to the Hubs/PCs.
    Consolidate net demands from East Africa export countries and upload to them to the NDF booklet in a timely manner.
    Liaise with Hubs/PCs to confirm availability of firmed orders and communicate in time to the business and export distributors.
    Manage the stock holding for finished goods within the targeted DIH values.
    Actively manage and communicate the phase out phase in process to the entire team. Communicate GTIN changes that may necessitate product re-listing and strive to achieve minimal left over write off costs.
    Manage the import documentation process and ensure all required documents are provided to the relevant authorities in good time.
    Track and provide on a monthly SIT stock status to supply chain controlling.

    Customer Service

    Identify and communicate any supply bottle necks three months prior & actively provide alternative solutions.
    Ensure constant communication with Hubs, 3PMs and source PCs.
    Actively communicate and provide documentation to the warehouse, LSP and QA on expected deliveries prior to their arrival.
