Our Marketing teams play a big role in ensuring our brands live and breathe their purpose and we remain at the heart of celebrations everywhere. 
    We want to create future “General Managers” for our brands: balancing strategic thinking for the future with real time business performance and understanding. Creating compelling and powerful stories to make our existing brands even stronger will be critical to the ongoing success of our brands – some of which are over 250 years old. But isn’t just about our legacy products, you may also be part of the launch of a new one too. Working as part of a team, you’ll use your creativity, vision and pioneering spirit to bring our brands to life. 
    On this two-year rotation programme, you’ll get to experience two different roles and will be able to build your experience across multiple Marketing disciplines including media planning and execution, social media, innovation, budget management, business performance and drivers, shopper marketing and activation. Through working on iconic and innovative brands you will be inspired to excel and build the foundations of your Marketing and Commercial Capability. These foundations will help you to advance at an accelerated pace, where you’ll ready to specialise in an area of Marketing within Diageo after the two-year programme.

    Create, maintain and update the unit’s digital communication strategy and associated workplan at the regional level, in consultation with the Head of Programmes TOC/CT, program managers and colleagues;
    Create a coherent corporate social media identity for UNODC TOC/CT in East Africa, in coordination with the regional office identity;

    Track performance of digital communication with SEO analytics tools and adapt the strategy accordingly.
    Create and maintain a photo and video gallery with content from unit’s projects
    Assist with designing, production and dissemination of unit’s publications, presentations and reports;
    Assist with Media Monitoring and flagging of crime issues reported in the media (online, print and broadcast) ;
    Participate in events and activities of the unit (conferences, presentations, trainings, meetings) and support the logistics when needed ;
    Begin development of a 6-series podcast season on Transnational Organized Crime, in close coordination with the Programme/Project Managers and collaborative partners, as a means of creating an informative and creative communications tool, to raise public awareness

    Qualifications/special skills

    Advanced university degree Master’s degree or equivalent in digital marketing, digital media, digital communication, marketing, language, or communication A first-level university degree in similar field in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree
    Seven years of professional work experience at the national and/or international level in digital communications, journalism, or marketing is desirable.
    Excellent digital communication skills and experience with creating and editing digital communication campaigns are desirable.
    Excellent command of digital design, photography, writing for social media, filming, or editing is desirable.
    Excellent oral and written skills and excellent drafting, formulation, and reporting skills are desirable.
    Excellent command of Office Suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is desirable.
    Experience in managing corporate social media accounts is desirable.
    Good command of design tools Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop is desirable
    Experience with analytical SEO is desirable.

    Languages

    Purpose of role

    Raw Materials Scheduler – KBL

    Purpose of the role:

    The Materials scheduler in the Plan COE is responsible for scheduling the materials supply in to the local operations. It is locally based reporting to the Scheduling Team lead.
    Working closely with the Long term material planners, suppliers, procurement and site operations the role sustains and strengthens effective communication between the CoE and key stakeholders in the markets, including Supply Chain Directors, Production and Materials Scheduling, as well as with Suppliers and 3rd Parties.
    This role must be capable of performing root cause and trend analysis for critical case volume and inventory valuation data.

    Top Accountabilities:
    Manage the local Materials Scheduling process

    Ensure continuous replenishment of raw materials for the brewing and packaging process at supply locations in scope.
    Manage the local purchase order/scheduling agreement process to ensure MRP signal is accurate and purchase orders are in place to facilitate material receipt and supplier payment.
    Ensure efficient communication between Material planning team in COE, local Production Scheduling, local operations and Procurement teams
    Communicate to appropriate stakeholders any risks to short and medium term schedule material for in scope production locations.
    Support process improvement through interpretation of performance analytics.
    Ensure an ongoing tracking of relevant materials supply chain metrics.
    Perform root cause and trend analysis on issues relating to material supply and supplier performance.

    Drive standardization and automation of systems and processes:

    Ensure local Material scheduling systems and processes in place are aligned to global supply planning codification strategy and standards.
    Ensure effective ways of working with Data, CoE and local production/technical teams to ensure BOM accuracy.
    Ensure that all master data pertaining to MRP (e.g., BOMs, recipes, lead-times, batch sizes etc) is maintained in the appropriate information systems (e.g. SAP, ECC6, APO).
    Implement/contribute to process improvements across the wider CoE.

    Experience

    +5 years in Material planning and/or procurement experience in CPG (Materials Management, Materials Planning)
    Additionally, some wider cross functional experience and beverage materials categories preferable. E.g. procurement, packaging, raw materials.
    Significant line management experience required.
    Experience with advanced planning software with Supply Planning (SAP APO would be an advantage).

    Qualifications

    Degree in supply chain, engineering, or business degree.
