    Interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.

    Responsibilities
    Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual’s background, the intern’s assigned office as well as the internship period.

    Under the direct supervision of the cluster team lead the intern will assist with data analysis, reporting and record keeping documentation for Talent Acquisition Unit (TAU):
    Arrange and digitize signed contracts received from consultants and individual contractors.
    Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external data sets, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
    Clean and transform raw data to make it suitable for analysis.

    Participate in designing and improving archives and records keeping for non-staff (consultants and individual contractors)

    IAVI is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Trial Manager to oversee and execute day-to-day operational activities for the conduct of clinical trials according to ICH/GCP and relevant regulatory guidelines. The CTM will lead clinical operations of early and late phase clinical trials, mentor other clinical operations staff, contributing to clinical operations process improvement.

    Act as clinical operations lead on project teams for assigned studies.
    Develop the protocol management plan (PMP) and coordinate the development of operations plans for all applicable functions for inclusion in the PMP.

    Lead clinical trial team meetings and contribute clinical updates to cross-functional project team meetings.

    Mentor and train CRAs and Clinical Trial Associates as needed.
    When assigned a trial with a Clinical Operations Specialist (COS), delegate clearly defined clinical trial management activities to the COS and ensure deliverables are met with appropriate timeliness and quality.  Mentor and provide training to the COS as needed.
    Contribute to the Clinical Development (CD) departmental Standard Operating Procedures for conduct of clinical trials based on IAVI templates and ensures adherence to regulations/guidelines for GCP. When applicable is a member of the CD SOP task force.
    Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

    Education and Work Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or other relevant field is required; an advanced degree in relevant field is preferred.
    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in clinical trial operations, including at least 2 years in clinical trial management or equivalent experience at study sponsor or CRO is required.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Responsibilities

    Manage in collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders contract amendment or extension.

    At least three (3) years demonstrated experience which involves administration of procurement related contracts that supports the needs of multiple organizations such as UN Entities; such experience shall include data analysis and preparing report on various contract administration matrices, is required.

    Responsibilities

    Human Resources Management

     Provides substantive inputs into the design, specification, implementation, testing and commissioning, and handover of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) architecture related to the Replacement of Office Blocks A-J capital construction project;
     Understands and captures the current UNON ICT architecture, defines the future (target) ICT architecture based on the concept of converged ICT network and in line with the requirements of the Project capital construction objectives, undertakes gap analysis to define areas of discrepancy; ensures adherence to global and local ICT policies, standards and procedures;
     Associated with the Project, plans and directs major systems projects of significant importance to the institution, or major components of these complex systems which typically impact critical operations and large or multiple user groups, identifies and escalates issues in a timely manner;
     Provides expert advice on complex systems analysis and design; identifies the need for new systems (or modifications to existing systems) or responds to requests from users; develops plans for feasibility assessment, requirements specification, design, development and implementation, including project plans, business continuity plans, schedules, time and cost estimates, metrics and performance measures;
