Brief Description
Reporting to the Manager Home Channel Sales & Acquisition, the position holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of approved Home solutions route to market strategies across the indirect channel within the trade.
She/he will work with the Home Solutions team, Segments, Technology and RSO teams to identify develop and implement Home Solutions products and services through the 3rd party channel partners/dealers.
This role will also be responsible for managing indirect channel partners and working with their staff to push the home agenda.

To identify the set of partners to collaborate with whilst laying out the clear working strategies of the same.
To Identify growth prospects and specific opportunities in the estates/households space (in collaboration with the chosen partners) to achieve revenue targets and KPIs for Home Solutions product lines.
Devise strategic plans for estates/households penetration (in collaboration with the chosen partners) thus guide and implement the sales team on tactical plan execution
Manage new and existing products and propositions within Home Solutions portfolio.
Guide the development and execution of portfolio products strategies to capture value from existing products through effective growth stimulation and new products adoption
Drive customer/Usage value through use of Home Solutions products.
Identify, develop, evaluate go to market strategy based on insights and business objectives.
Perform needs analysis at prospective customers and market segments as well as use business analytics insights to identify opportunities and create winning propositions for the Home Solutions portfolio.
Ensure delivery of right propositions with new and current products mapped to Home Solutions.
Create and manage winning partnerships through effective governance with key stakeholders, internal/external.
Drive the launch of new Safaricom Home solutions and ensure successful go-to-market & activation
Evaluate financial aspect of products such as budget
To develop and implement the home sales plan in line with the overall business objectives.
Requirements for the In-direct Sales Manager Job
Degree in Commerce or a business related field;
A combination of commercial skills and field sales experience skills with at least 2 years’ experience in a related filed role driving growth through products with third parties/partners;
Analytical ,self-driven team player proactive result oriented;
Certification in Marketing (CIM, MSK certifications or any other recognized certification) is a key added advantage
Knowledge/ Work experience in selling fiber or ISP products will be an added advantage;
Strong relationship building skills, preferably from a major blue chip company;

Senior Officer-IP & Capacity Sales
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Wholesale Services the position holder will grow IP& Capacity wholesale revenues and will develop a retention strategy that ensures churn is minimized. The position holder will also develop partnership with ISPs to support revenues for IP& Capacity stream (both national and regional players).
