    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Core Program Support Responsibilities: 60%

    Participate in designing, adaptation; coordinate implementation, and appraise pilot projects by employing human centered design thinking approaches.
    Work with the field team to coordinate and periodically develop materials, plan and execute Business Mentor workshops.
    Coordinate with the help of the field team to guide Bi-weekly meetings within the offices of mandate, by introducing creative materials and making them more effective.
    Support new projects, ongoing projects and calendar activities like the Innovations Summit; on theme selection, planning and overall execution.
    Participate in developing materials, inviting external resource persons that would be used to transfer knowledge and bridge capacities of Business Mentors and Field coordinators.
    Participate in gathering of information and identifying sustainable partnerships on Financial Inclusion, Value Chain Development, Market Intelligence and linkages.
    Write reports and develop presentations on ongoing projects, keep the whole team informed and update the documents on the various storage platforms like Google drive, and Box e.t.c.
    Occasionally contribute to proposal development by keeping track of funding opportunities for the innovations teamwork and pass such opportunities to direct supervisor.
    Assist in the development, assessment of standard operating tools like the Training Manual, Mentoring Guides and any other that may be introduced.
    Participate in the development of training support materials like picture codes, charts and any other visual or audio aids.
    Any other innovations work or program support work that may be assigned to you.

    Innovations and Cross-functionality Responsibilities: 40%

    Be an ardent ambassador and advocate on Innovations Teams work internally and externally if and when given the opportunity.
    Ensure synchronization of activities between the ACDs/RMs work plans and the Innovations teams work by communicating work plans and planned activities.

    Provide information on work plan on Google Work Plan sheet on a weekly basis.

S/he will lead the preparation and presentation of the key evaluation findings and recommendations to the USAID / Somalia team and other major partners. This position is based in Kenya with travel to Somalia. This is a short-term consultancy position, lasting from around October 1 to December 1.
    Using your experience and subject matter skills, perform managerial and operational tasks on specific task orders and/or contracts. Tasks could include, but not be limited to:
    Scope of Work:

    Lead operational assistance related to monitoring and evaluation systems, performance management, theories of change and M&E Plans;
    Support the development of M&E Plans for IPs through on-going and hands-on assistance to IP M&E and management teams, in close coordination with the donor. This support will be in program areas such as democracy and governance, stabilization, agriculture and economic growth, education/human capacity development/youth;

    About the Job: Village Enterprise is seeking a candidate who will manage enumerators in Lwala, Migori County region to successfully carry out data collection in support of implementation, monitoring, evaluation, adaptation and/or expansion of Village Enterprise programming.
    Candidate will support additional MEL and operations efforts as needed. This is a split, field/office position, requiring ~60% time in the field and ~40% time in the office. A minimum time commitment of one year is required.
    Job Description:
    Directly Manage Enumerator Data Collection: 60%

    Supervise enumerators in the field and provide feedback to the MEL coordinator
    Train enumerators on best practices for data collection, android-based data collection, data collection software, and data collection assignments
    Create enumerator data collection assignments and planned expenses
    Monitor data collection progress, tracking progress at both the enumerator and data-collection activity level
    Collect feedback from enumerators on behalf of the MEL team
    Conduct data quality assessments as assigned by supervisor
    Directly collect data if needed

    Reporting and Communication: 25%

    Submit field activity schedule to supervisor for approval
    Submit weekly enumerator feedback report to supervisor detailing any feedback collected from enumerators during the week
