    Responsibilities;
    They are responsible for but not limited to:

    Establish the Reliability Program manual and ensure it is current to meet Regulatory and ALS Requirements.
    Perform statistical analysis of aircraft system failures, components, power plants and structures to improve management of airworthiness and maintenance cost.
    Establish the weekly repetitive defects and ECTM alerts.
    Prepare monthly reliability reports, distribute same and schedule for the monthly reliability review meetings.
    Initiate preliminary investigations and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions for conditions that are above alert.
    Continuously monitor corrective actions to determine their effectiveness.
    Report safety risks that are evident during reliability analysis
    Liaise with manufacturers and vendors on reliability issues.

    Minimum Candidate requirements for a RME;

    Be a Kenyan Citizen.
    Degree from a recognized university in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent field,
    In-depth knowledge and experience in the aviation industry,
    Three (3) years working experience in an engineering office,
    Knowledge of reliability monitoring principles,
    Knowledge of Aircraft Systems,
    Detailed knowledge of KCAA/EASA/FAA regulations and ALS engineering procedures
    Strong computer skills with knowledge of Analytical software
    Fluent in the English language.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Quality Assurance Manager

    Responsibilities.
    Responsible for monitoring compliance with the KCARs, foreign regulations, IOSA, company standards and other applicable requirements for Quality Auditor including training, Flight Dispatch, Cabin, Mass and Balance, and Aircraft Performance.

     Supporting ALS’s safe operations by promoting regulatory compliance and implementation of effective procedures
     Ensuring readiness and publishing of audit package and briefing to external and internal auditors.
     Responsible for managing and conducting audits, preparing audit checklists, issuing audit reports, follow up on corrective actions, response on Corrective Action Plans and ensure feedback to auditees with the time scales defined by the audit program.
     Ensuring compliance with regulations is maintained and procedures implemented are effective to support ALS’s safe operations.
    Coordinate and follow up with the Head of Quality on audits, reports and corrective actions as well as communicate with service providers (if required). 
    Conducting risk assessments, investigations, and inspections whenever deemed necessary, liaising with the Head of Safety and the Head of Quality and relevant personnel, as well as responsible for monitoring the corrective/preventive actions to rectify deficiencies identified.
     Providing the Head of Quality with a periodic status report as well as advising him of any changes that may be necessary to the audit schedule.
     Internal and external communication in relation to the monthly audit / findings status and publishing to all relevant personnel
     Overseeing Documentation Control and record keeping (both electronically, in the database and the hard copies) for the as per the defined timelines and quality standards.
    Responsible for raising staff awareness on the quality management system.
    Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Head of Quality.

    Minimum Candidate Competencies;

    All Quality Assurance Auditor staff must have the following minimum qualifications and experience.

    Minimum Qualifications: –

    Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or Aviation-related course, or an equivalent qualification.
    A good knowledge of the Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations.
    Fluency in communication, in particular written English.
    Preferably trained in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Safety Management Systems (SMS) recognized by the Authority.
    Completion of auditor’s course (Lead-Auditor, Aviation Internal auditor, or auditor) is an added advantage.

    Minimum Candidate Competencies: –

    A person with technical qualifications in aircraft maintenance, flight, or ground operations.
    Proficient in KCAA processes related to aircraft maintenance and operations.
    Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
    Adaptability to collaborate with diverse groups and project teams both within and outside the organization as necessary for ALS Ltd Operations.

    Experience: –

    A minimum of three years’ experience in aviation maintenance, flight operations, or dispatch.
    At least two years of experience in the Quality Assurance department as a Quality Auditor or equivalent position in airline industry or general aviation.
    Having experience leading or participating in KCAA 5-Phase Processes such as inclusion of new aircraft in OPSPECs, addition in SOPs, AMO/AOC Certificate renewals etc., would be an added advantage.

    Role overview

    Duties and responsibilities
