    Position Summary

    You will be responsible for notifying members on their loans in arrears i.e., substandard, doubtful and loss, follow up and advise the members on loan repayment modes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Analyze a list of members in arrears monthly based on the number of missed instalments.
    Communicate to members in arrears informing them of amount in arrears. Follow up through phone call and SMS’s.
    Working with the members on an agreed payment plan, send reminders before the agreed due dates.
    Answer queries and offer advice to the members.
    Refer cases for restructure to Credit Officer.
    Prepare monthly reports: Collections received, all follow-ups done, Commitment dates agreed on.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Diploma in Co-operative Management, Business Administration, or its equivalent qualification.
    A bachelor’s degree in Cooperative management or its equivalent is an added advantage.
    Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar role in a financial institution
    Proficiency in computer skills
    Proficiency in computerized accounting system

    Position Summary

    You will be responsible for recruiting new members and selling all the Sacco FOSA and BOSA products to members, growing business and market share in Mombasa County while maintaining high level of relationship management.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruit new quality organizations and advise the organizations on eligibility for joining Kimisitu Sacco.
    Recruit new members from existing and new organizations while ensuring compliance to Sacco policies and procedures
    Act as the point of contact for assigned relationships and increase market share as per the assigned SACCO targets
    Ensure minimum requirements for share capital and deposits for every recruited member are met
    Explain to members the different types of FOSA and BOSA products available and their respective terms and conditions.
    Increase Sacco revenue through sale of assigned targets for Sacco products and services e.g., insurance, loans, trade finance among others as may be prescribed by the Senior Marketing Officer
    Relationship Management and advice members on loan eligibility.
    Ensure member satisfaction of the assigned portfolio.
    Participate in planning, organization and execution of all Sacco marketing events as assigned by the Senior Marketing Officer from time to time
    Establish and manage a portfolio of members ensuring that all assigned KPI’s for BOSA and FOSA products are met as per the set targets Account’s for (membership) retention
    Perform any other responsibilities as assigned from time to time

    Knowledge: Qualifications & Experience

    Diploma in sales and marketing, Co-operative Management, Business Administration/Management or its equivalent.
    A bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
    Minimum three (3) years ‘experience in sales and marketing and/or business development in a financial institution
    Experience working with a financial institution in Mombasa City or adjacent Coastal Towns

    About the position

    The Transport Planning Intern will be based in Nairobi, Kenya and will play a key role in supporting the planning, design, implementation of public transport systems and implementation of facilities for walking and cycling in African cities over a three- to six-months period beginning in October 2023. Potential project areas will include sustainable urban mobility plans and guidelines, street design guidelines, BRT design review, bikeshare studies, urban cycle network planning, parking management strategies, and transit-oriented development projects.
    The Transport Planning intern, will report to the Transport Systems Manager, working closely with ITDP staff and international experts.

    Responsibilities

    Design and carry out transport surveys.
    Conceptualise, draft technical documents, including feasibility studies, concept notes, street design plans, bikeshare feasibility studies, non-motorised transport network plans, and terms of reference.
    Prepare street design drawings and renderings.
    Analyse primary and secondary transport data, prepare conceptual designs.
    Gather information on international best practices and apply lessons learned locally.
    Facilitate training for internal and external stakeholders.
    Prepare progress reports, communications materials, and other ad hoc reporting.
    Perform any other task assigned.

    Qualifications

    Bachelors or Master’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, transport engineering, urban design, urban planning or other relevant field.

    Position Summary

    You will be responsible for information security design, implementation, optimization and maintenance of the Sacco network and telecommunications components, server infrastructure, endpoint devices and related hardware in line with business requirements and strategic priorities.

    Main Responsibilities

    Carry out internal and external penetration tests on the Saccos’s platforms.
    Innovate and model new red teaming techniques for the security team.
    Carry out awareness campaigns to staff and stakeholders on cyber security matters.
    Collaborate with the information security functions to maintain records of all data assets and exports.
    Produce accurate, interactive, digestible information security reports with associated mapping and dashboards.
    Provide research, incident analysis and evaluation, presentation, and report production on a weekly basis.
    Be part of a 24-hour active monitoring and analysis of the Sacco networks for malicious activity through Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) reporting. Including responding to and investigating alerts, assisting with developing new security monitoring use cases, and ensuring all investigative activity is properly documented and followed up with relevant support teams.
    Conduct proactive cyber threat research and analysis. Monitoring open-source intelligence sources for potential threats against the Sacco, and ensure appropriate defensive actions are taken with respect to these.
    Analyze a variety of network and host-based security appliance logs (Firewalls, IPS, NIDS,
    HIDS, Sys Logs, etc.) to determine the corrective or mitigation actions and escalation paths for each incident.
    Independently follow procedures to report, contain, analyze, and remediate security incidents.
    Be available, on-call, to rapidly troubleshoot any problems resulting from infrastructure changes, security breaches, or other unplanned/unforeseen circumstances.
    Offer first level ICT user support and administration of various Sacco systems.
    Perform any other duty assigned from time to time.

    Knowledge: Qualifications & Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or its equivalent.
    Show competence in Cyber Security through CTFs or learning platforms.
    At least three (3) years’ experience in system security and administration.
    CISSP CISA/CISM/CEH/Certified SOC analyst (CSA)/Security+/Network+/CCNA/SSCP or other related certifications.
    Technical knowledge of database, network, and operating system security.
    Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems).
    Knowledge and experience using one or more tools related to SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems, network security managers, firewalls, and end point logging.
    Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.
    Strong written communication skills in report writing for incident reporting.
