    Sexual Reproductive Health Mobile Facilitator

    This position will be functionally accountable to the SRH Advisors and Learning Unit; hierarchically to the Medical Learning Referent. This person will work in coordination with the SRH referent, missions, and the learning unit to ensure the development of the different specific tasks.
    RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS
    Training, organization and preparation, one month (TBD) before the deployment for training, via email and Skype/Teams:

    In collaboration with the HR department will define dates, course agenda, travel movements.
    If required, will organize the pre-reading and follow-up post training.
    In collaboration with the medical Network and the mission, she/he will organize the planning, facilitation and ‘on the job training’ of the visit in each project.
    She/he will request medical items and equipment needed to the Medical department.
    She/he will request stationery, material and photocopies needed to the HR department.
    With the SRH Referent, HRCo, MedCo and PMR will define the list of participants.
    Follow up of the organization of location and accommodation.
    Follow up communication with field and participants about the organization with the technical referent.

    Training implementation with co-facilitator, if needed:

    Coordinate and facilitate the theoretical and the skills-based practical trainings face to face.
    Organize and manage group dynamics.
    Respond to doubts and questions from participants.
    Follow up and evaluate the learning process of the participants.
    Use simulation methodology when possible.
    Ensure a positive and engaging learning environment during the whole training, as well as the participation of all participants in the learning activities designed.
    During the phase of transfer of skills or on the job training, will identify other trainings needed for the participants.
    Work-Plan and Personal Analysis during the training: the facilitators will support each participant with the identification of personal capacities and learning needs, and with the identification of activities to be implemented in their own project to improve their knowledge and skills.

    After the training, write a report including:

    Continuous transfer of knowledge process, reinforcing “on bed side” main aspects/needs identified during the training phase.
    Identification, together with the team, of potential barriers in the workplace to the transfer of knowledge to propose actions to reduce or mitigate them.
    Implement bed side training as planned.
    Identified key person (focal point) in charge of the refreshment of the recommendations and follow up in collaboration with the project or mission medical manager (PMR and/ or Medco).
    The communication lines with the focal person and the medical manager in order to follow the implementation of the recommendations.
    These recommendations should be also shared and discussed at project and mission level during the debriefing.
    Continue reinforcing and supervising the priority learning aspects identified during the training and the follow up period, in collaboration with project managers and/or medical coordination.
    Definition, design and follow up in a remote mode the monitoring of the implementation of recommendations.
    Work plan and analysis during the training: the facilitators will support each participant with the identification of personal capacities and learning needs, and with the identification of activities to be implemented in their own project to improve their knowledge and skills.

    Other tasks:

    Develop post-training tools (monitoring learning transfer, skills) in collaboration with the SRH technical referents.
    Capitalization of tools and material developed for the field trainings.
    Updates in training material as per latest guidelines and in agreement with SRH technical referent (Medical Department).

    SELECTION CRITERIA

    Midwife with an extensive MSF field experience, with frequent travels to African and Middle Eastern countries (at least 70% time in the field).
    Experience providing trainings in SRH subjects.
    The ALSO instructor accreditation or/as participant is a must for the SRH flying facilitator to provide ALSO training. Involvement providing EVA workshops is necessary to do EVAs will be is a plus.
    Languages: Proficient English and French, Spanish and Arabic are an asset.
    Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.
    Other experience as a trainer/facilitator in other subjects is valued.

    The levels of need for medical humanitarian assistance remain vast in many regions of the world, yet it is increasingly challenging to fulfil MSF’s social mission. Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Myanmar, and the Central African Republic are a few of the places where violence, abuse and neglect lead to human crises. Entire populations are threatened by outbreaks of disease, responses to which continue to be inadequate.
    Factors such as global pandemics, urbanization and global migration may bring new types of health needs. At the same time, humanitarian responses must navigate an ever-shifting political landscape. Increasing restrictions to operations set by host states, instrumentalization, criminalisation and delegitimization of humanitarian action and the communities it seeks to support; and the politicisation, militarisation, privatisation and nationalisation of humanitarian assistance all affect the way humanitarian agencies operate and impact on their ability to respond.
    Responsibilities and Activities
    Direct country support

    Support, coaching and functional (technical) management of Humanitarian Affairs staff in country, supporting and orienting their work; Providing country operations with political and contextual analysis on factors shaping the humanitarian landscape and issues MSF wants to leverage or influence;
    Working with operational teams in identifying and documenting protection issues affecting the populations we serve, and defining MSF’s strategies to address them;
    Driving consistent implementation of advocacy strategies;
    Acting as a ‘sparring partner’ to the Heads of Mission and Operational Managers on protection issues, humanitarian principles and organizational positioning;
    Advising country teams on the process of the gathering, analysis and synthesis of information/data; Drafting of position papers, briefing documents, and public reports.

    Candidate Profile
    We are looking for someone with:

    Substantial experience (6-8 years) with international organisations in the field of humanitarian action, protection or human rights; at least 3-5 years in country experience in the types of contexts where MSF is active (in country experience with MSF is an advantage);
    Extensive knowledge and understanding of recent developments in the field of humanitarian action, protection and international relations;
    Academic background in areas relevant to MSF’s work, such as international relations, international human rights & humanitarian law and social sciences;
    Strong analytical and advisory skills and the ability to translate complex analysis into concise, clear, and actionable conclusions and recommendations;
    Ability to travel to humanitarian contexts for periods of up to 4 weeks;

    Main Purpose
    Provide outpatient and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiary’s health conditions.
    Accountabilities

    Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention. Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.
    Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
    Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized/IDP patients, through daily visits , consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments – in collaboration with other doctorsand informing their family about the patient’s evolution.
    Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with standing hygiene standards.
    Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patients illness, medical error and monitors the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material.
    Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care.
    Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control. Ensures professional confidentiality is respected.

    MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

    Perform basic procedures like MVA, assist the nurses during difficult deliveries, perform C/S as soon as it is necessary etc.
    In coordination with the maternity supervisor, conduct the High-risk clinic and ensure a follow up strategy is in place with the outreach team CHW / TBA s visits all High-risk mothers and remind them of the danger signs.
    Ensure on the job training of Clinical officers and ANC-RH working in the department on management of pregnancy complications, neonatal care and conduct CME at least once in a month in collaboration with hospital director &/Nursing activity manager.
    Examine and treat all SGBV cases in a confidential manner and be responsible for the P3 forms for the SGBV cases.
    Actively participate in the project’s quality of care activities such as CMEs, case reviews, Mortality audits & rational prescription audits.
    Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

    Requirements
    Education

    Medical Doctor Degree

    Experience

    2 years’ experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training).
    Desirable in tropical medicine, or post-registration experience in Public Health, obs and gynae, pediatrics, A, infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS/STDs, TB, general practice, general medicine or minor surgery.

    S/he is an active participant of international forums and platforms, relating logistics and participates in the creation and execution of response strategies to meet the requirements of the movement in both areas in the short and long term.     Objective of the Position:

    Identify Sexually Gender Based Violence victims and attend to their medical needs so they can receive the necessary treatment.
    Knows and is aware of the importance and appropriate use of the Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) Kit
    To provide medical care to the Adolescent and youth clients as per the MoH guidelines while ensuring appropriate and timely referrals.
    Provision of counselling in line with the guidelines on provision of AYFS, HTS (HIV testing services) and also provide follow up sessions
    To participate in any other program activities as will be required and provide input to the department.

    Requirements:
    Education

    Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Nursing with training in Counseling.

    Essential: Minimum 2 years’ demonstrable similar working experience.
    Previous experience in a Youth Friendly service is an added advantage.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree or its International Equivalent.
    MSc/MA/MBA and/or CPA certification preferred

    Experience:

    Minimum of 10+ years of finance management experience.
    Past experiences managing and leading a finance department is required.
    Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
    Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
    Prior work in a non-governmental organization (NGO), especially USG funded.
    Experience working with an international organization.

    International Safeguarding Coordinator

    The International Safeguarding Coordinator will maintain close functionality with other International Office Coordinators, particularly the International HR Coordinator, the International Comms Coordinator, the IOHRC, and other relevant stakeholders such as DEI leads, the DEI WG facilitator, etc.
    The International Safeguarding Coordinator manages the Global Pool of Investigators Manager.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    The International Safeguarding Coordinator is a connector and bridge-builder on strategic issues and stakeholders on all elements related to safeguarding.
    Leading on Safeguarding related areas
    The International Safeguarding Coordinator is responsible for leading and facilitating progress on a number of strategic areas of movement wide relevance:

    lead in the development of movement wide pro-active approaches to safeguarding, including the development of relevant policies and systems in partnership with other relevant stakeholders (operations, comms, HR);
    in coordination with the IPOB define a relevant set of data to be monitored and reported on for the field and HQ on a yearly basis and ensure continued improvement of consistency of definitions, data collection and analysis;
    present the yearly global behavioural report to key stakeholders and ensure it is used to build understanding of behaviour issues, approaches and strategies;
    manage the production of a yearly global behavioural report (covering data for field and HQ) for external publication;
    overseeing the overall set-up of a Global Pool of Investigators and line manage the Global Pool of Investigations Manager;
    engage in the development of an international “appeal” mechanism;
    actively drive, link with and report on the Core ExCom Actionplan on Tackling Institutional Discrimination and Racism, especially category 5 – Abuse and Irresponsible Behaviour.
    The International Safeguarding Coordinator will support the efforts of the different entities in the mobilization of the MSF movement’s capacities for specific behavioural matters.
    The International Safeguarding Coordinator will keep abreast of best practices and developments in the area of safeguarding, complaints mechanisms, tackling abuse and inappropriate behaviour.
    S/He will also support existing International Office abuse management mechanisms and contribute to developing relevant policies and practices as needed.

    Chair of the IPOB
    The International Safeguarding Coordinator will prepare and chair meetings of the IPOB in order to reach the objectives as defined in the TORs of the platform. This includes but is not limited to:
    In consultation and collaboration with other members, leads in the agenda and priority setting of the IPOB, and in doing so coordinates with other key platforms, to ensure topics are discussed in a timely and well-prepared manner.

    Coordinate cooperation with the Ambassador Network on Ethical Behaviour (ANEB).
    Promoting innovative approaches and improvement of practices as well as evaluation of the current behavioural practices across the movement.
    Ensuring proactive and timely information-sharing among members, seeking coordination of different behavioural approaches and strategies, promoting transparency in a spirit of mutual accountability.
    Connect with other relevant groups such as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion working group, HR, Comms, Fundraising.
    Ensure platform sharepoint site and TORs are relevant and up to date.

    MSF International Management Team member

    The International Safeguarding Coordinator is a member of the MSF International MT. The International Safeguarding coordinator serves as a key member, in support to the SG, of the MSF International Management Team (MT) and will play an active role in supporting the SG to define the priorities and activities of MSF International within their area of expertise, including definition of annual and multiyear work plans of MSF International.
    The International Safeguarding Coordinator will inform other MSF International Coordinators on key behavioural issues that could affect transversal areas: HR, DEI, Comms, fundraising and proactively reach out to relevant counter parts in case of need (such as external requests for information, acute crises, etc).
    As a manager, s/he will implement good management practices, including annual evaluations of direct reports.

    Job requirements

    5+ years’ experience as senior behavioural/safeguarding expert with a robust understanding of humanitarian landscapes
    In-depth knowledge and experience of Safeguarding issues, including legal frameworks, policy and best practices within humanitarian contexts
    Sound experience in the management and the handling of complex safeguarding/behavioural cases and investigations
    In-depth understanding of leading case management
    Collaborative approach and ability to bridge, connect / establish rapport
    Demonstrable ability in leading and taking responsibility for complex multi-stakeholder dossiers
    Analytical ability at strategic level
    Diplomatic attitude, neutral and patient mediator
    Drive to foster diversity and innovative approaches
    Facilitative and supportive management approach
    Proven record in managing teams
    University degree in relevant field
    Fluent English, another language (French, Spanish, Arabic) a plus
    Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) investigations certification, a strong asset

    Personnel Administration Manager Head of Mission Support in Charge of Advocacy and Partnerships

    Main Purpose:
    Is responsible of ensuring that MSF is a Responsible employer in the mission, supports proper management of HR across the board and assumes full responsibility of all Administrative and legal issues in the Mission.
    Other tasks include, but not limited to:

    Is responsible for the administrative management of Locally Recruited Staff health care coverage in close collaboration with the Medical department and service providers.
    In close collaboration with Dep HR Coordinator, ensures regular administrative meetings with all staff throughout the mission take place in order to ensure they are aware and respect their rights and duties and to inform them of any change in Labour legislation and general employment framework which may affect them (i.e. legal amendments, changes in local practices, new HRAdmin policies or procedures, amendments to Internal Regulations, etc.).
    In liaison with the Dep HR Coordinator, ensure that all functions and job profiles at Mission level meet with the Mission’s function grid approved by HQ and are aligned with MSF Standard Job Profiles and Function Grid, and that any new function or amendment to an existing one (including significant changes in responsibilities and/or mixing existing functions) are requested in advance to HR Coordinator for previous validation by HQ. Identifies deviations and shares them with HR Coordinator in order to draw an action plan in case corrections are needed/convenient.
    In support of the Dep HR Coordinator, developing an induction system and coaching the HR assistant to implement it in the coordination and project.
    Actively participates in the recruitment and interviews of Locally Recruited staff, when requested by other departments.
    In close coordination with the Financial Manager, ensures fulfillment of national legislation regarding employees’ taxes and social security at Mission level, checks that monthly declaration forms for taxes and employee/employer social security contributions are correct and sends them to the Financial Department.
    Support in organizing trainings done in close collaboration with the Personnel Development manager responsible for trainings in the mission. Support the Dep HR Coordinator and the Personnel Development manager to ensure that the link between performance management and training needs are consistent and followed up.
    Manage any other leave requested and ensure policies are respected including requests or proof, where necessary. Follow up on monthly basis on annual leave plans in regard to the Locally Recruited Staff.
    Coordinate and ensure proper management of Homere in the mission and with close contact with the Homere technical referents in HQ:
    Knows Homère in depth and ensures proper parameterization, use of the system and quality of data throughout the Mission, being her/himself the Mission’s technical reference.
    Provide guidance and support to the mission staff
    Training and coaching of staff on new updates and induction of new staff
    Answer any technical questions from the Dep HR Coordinator/HR Coordinator or mission Homere referent
    Minor changes to Homere parameters as permissible
    Any other tasks requested by AMS Homere Referent
    Support the Medical Coordination on any administrative follow-up/ needed on medical evacuations to the mission.
    Update the Organigram chart on monthly basis based on the decision made at the coordination level and coordinate with the HR Manager from the project to share the updated organigram chart.
    Ensure receive the Monthly HR report from the project and file them on the monthly basis.
    On request, perform any other additional duties given by the immediate supervisor in order to allow the organization to function optimally.

    Works closely with the OCA Kenya office on all matters related to Kenya compliance, and ensures a good collaboration and exchange of information on timely basis to avoid duplication, overlap and mitigate potential (legal/other) risks. The scope of collaboration within management of Locally Recruited staff, and contractual agreements in Kenya. 
    Requirements:
    Education

    Degree in administration, HR, or related studies.
    Courses or certificates in HR, Admin& management are considered positively

    Experience

    Essential 4 years previous experience in similar relevant position jobs (HR and Administration).
    With MSF essential 2 years of previous experience is similar to relevant positions.
