    Main duties:
     
    Reporting to Lesaffre Kenya Manager, and functionally to the Regional Finance Director, you will:
     

    Carry out the financial processes and the internal controlling of the entity
    Participate in the preparation, review, control of the monthly / annual closing in coordination with the local accounting company
    Carry out the IFRS reporting in the group tools and formalize a monthly reporting to the MEA region
    Be Sage administrator
    Product dashboards to follow up the activity of the entity
    Ensure, in collaboration with the accounting company, of the right social and tax declarations
    Participate in building the forecast and budget of the entity (including the HR part)
    Write processes and make ad hoc studies: production costs analysis, margin analysis, forecast based on corrected budget…
    Define and implement an action plan for the improvement of the working capital requirement, follow up of the payments (suppliers, clients)
    Follow up the cashflow plan of the entity. Work together with trade finance manager Africa if needed.
    Lead the payments processes (payroll, suppliers etc.) and the collection process in coordination with the sales team
    Participate to the Expenses notes process. Collect the sheet/receipt. Check the figures. Reimburse the staff.
    HR admin tasks in coordination with the HR Manager: carry out the payroll (with the support of the accounting company), prepare the employment contracts, register the employee on the medical insurance, organize mandatory medical examinations, make the headcount reporting
    Be Lesaffre Kenya IT contact. Working closer with local IT Service provider and group IT

    Qualifications

    Graduated in Business Administration or Finance, you have at least 10 years of experience in finance
    You master Office 365
    Experience with Sage is preferred

    Production Manager

    Job Description
    Lesaffre Kenya, a recent entity within the Lesaffre Group, produces Baking ingredients and sells yeast and ingredients. Reporting to Lesaffre Kenya manager, you will be responsible for organizing the day-to-day production operations and you will guarantee the proper implementation of raw material purchasing planning and the manufacture of finished goods. You will be responsible for the optimization of production costs and for maintaining the industrial equipment while complying with safety regulations, staff working conditions and environmental standards.
    Your main responsibilities will be:
    Production management

    Establishes daily production forecasts based on quantitative production targets & Sales forecasts.
    Organizes production orders & Production Team planning to ensure OTIF orders availability
    Guarantees the conformity and safety of the manufactured products.
    Ensures and controls the monitoring of external services,
    Develops dashboards for monitoring production, finished products and raw materials
    Ensures the monitoring of the consumption of ingredients in compliance with the technical ratios established in the budget and investigates the causes of any discrepancies. Implements corrective actions.
    Make proposal for improvement in process flow, equipment and working environment

    QEHS
    You will manage the QEHS officer and provide the necessary support to allow QEHS compliance of our operation and manufactured goods including:

    Developing safety culture 
    Ensuring required standards of health and safety are maintained in the production area at all times
    Following-up a Health & Safety Reporting with KPI’s 
    Following-up the Site security with the external company
    Guarantying the availability of the results of controls, measurements ant tests 
    Being involved in the choice of raw materials suppliers
    Ensuring that product recipes are in accordance with the formulas
    Ensuring that non-conformities and customer complaints are dealt with
    Implementing the necessary certifications/licenses/permits required

    WAREHOUSE

    Manages the warehouses to ensure the adequate stock levels and the right storage conditions 
    Supervises the inventory & stock reporting  
    Anticipates, forecasts and follow-up Raw material & Packaging supply

    MAINTENANCE

    Ensures that industrial equipment and buildings remain in good working conditions.
    Validates the maintenance intervention plans carried out through an external company & monitors the cost of maintenance

    MANAGEMENT
    You will directly manage the production team including organizing the schedule, leading briefing meetings, participating in recruitment, conducting annual appraisals…
    BUDGET

    Proposes to Lesaffre Kenya Manager technical investment projects (CAPEX) for the improvement of production processes and organization.
    Proposes the operating budget (production, quality, maintenance) and monitors it within the limit of the allocated amount.

    REPORTING

    Ensures the feedback of data and comments for the month-end closing (production, safety, quality, purchase etc.) and upon request
    Set-up a weekly reporting to Lesaffre Kenya Manager 

    PURCHASING

    Communicates a clear and accurate raw material needs to the Purchasing 
    Supervises raw material & Packaging Supply with the Purchasing   
    Is involved with suppliers’ audit.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in food processing / agro-industrial technology or a similar field
    Knowledge on bakery products is a plus

    Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for sales administration, importation and exportation activities in compliance with the local legislation, the Lesaffre Group guidelines and the Africa Sales strategy. You will:
     

    Manage all activities related to the sales administration, importation and exportation of finished products and raw materials, including the coordination and collaboration with customers, suppliers, and transport companies
    Establish and transmit quotations to customers
    Confirm orders to the customers
    Record sales orders: entered in the ERP after checking the elements
    Establish and transmit the acknowledgment of receipt of the order
    Turn delivery notes into invoices
    Deal with disputes with an after-sales service in your scope of work
    Book transport and organize expeditions

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    Ensure supply chain operations and vendors meet LS&CO. social and environmental, health and safety standards and policies

    Works with suppliers, GSC partners – PD&S, third party service providers, other brands, government, and civil society to understand & improve the overall sustainability status of supply chain.
    Collaborates with suppliers, GSC and other stakeholders to analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement.
    Works with suppliers, GSC and other stakeholders to enhance supplier management systems, management and worker training and capacity building projects (e.g. BSR, ILO, IFC projects) to ensure continuous improvement on LS&CO. social and environmental standards.

    Requirements

    Master’s degree in Business Management Social Work with specialization in Labor Laws & Industrial relationshipsEnvironment Health & Safety.
    More than 5 years’ experience in the same or related field with other brands retails reputed buying house NGO or third-party service provider.
    Experience of performing Social and Environmental Health & Safety assessments independently
    Knowledge of textile industry, local laws & other legislations.
