    Accountant

    Twiga Foods seek to hire an Accountant who will provide financial accounting support to the organization.
    The candidate will work under the Finance department and report to the Financial controller.
    Job Responsibilities

    Data entry in the organizations accounting system which include; sales, creditors invoice, petty cash reconciliation and any other relevant accounts records posting.
    General ledger maintenance and analysis.
    Management accounts preparation.
    Assisting in preparation of daily and monthly reports.
    Facilitating the implementation and observance of financial policies within the organization.
    Maintain an orderly filing system for all accounting records as required by the Law and by best practice in accounting.
    Contribute to team effort by playing a support role in complementing other functions within the organization as directed by the head of department.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferably in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
    Minimum CPA section 4 qualification.
    Excellent command of all Microsoft Office suite applications.
    Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software.
    2-3 years’ work experience.

    Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, your tasks will be;
    Responsibilities

    Sales: Meeting sales targets as set by the Area Sales manager by ensuring that all vendors in the appointed route are serviced daily while ensuring that the fresh fruits and vegetables are at the quality and quantity demanded by the vendors.
    Asset management: Ensuring that the tuk tuk, crates and other assets as may be allocated are in proper working conditions and available for inspection should the need arises.

    Qualifications

    Must be a competent tuk tuk driver with no less than 2 years’ experience with a valid class G and F driving license.
    Must have a valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police Service or a receipt showing recent application for one.
    Must be willing to be placed anywhere within Nairobi county or its environs.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and implement the company’s training policy and strategy based on the corporate strategy and changing business needs.
    Identify training and development needs within the organization through job analysis, the organizations human resource plan, performance reviews and internal training survey.
    Work with line managers and departmental heads to develop a comprehensive skills and competency framework.
    Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
    Identify, develop and maintain a pool of competent internal resources that can manage and deliver training events and facilitate specific training interventions.
    Develop training budgets and ensure expenditure on all training interventions and programmes are within the approved budget.
    Identify and evaluate training service providers by surveying, investigating, requesting proposals and interviewing potential trainers.
    Develop and coordinate the staff orientation program to align and settle new employees into the company.
    Maintain up-to-date training records and prepare quarterly and annual management reports.
    Ensure that the statutory training requirements are met as well as liaise with National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) for training refunds.

    Detailed Responsibilities:

    Team Support

    Drive the delivery vehicle to client drop offs, alongside the Sales Representative.
    Assist in loading and offloading the delivery vehicle at the depot and at the customer locations.
    Assist in capturing accurate information in the Data Management System (DMS)

    Asset Management

    Drive with caution and being careful not to cause unnecessary mechanical damage to delivery vehicles.
    Carry out daily routine checks on delivery vehicles – Engine oil, Coolant, Tyre pressure, Lights and Indicators
    Take pride in keeping the vehicle clean and attend all scheduled vehicle inspections or health checks.
