    Internal and External Engagement, Coordination and Relationship Management

    Represent Trócaire effectively in programme-related platforms and consultations at global, regional, national and/or sub-national levels, and ensure professional and high-quality engagement with all coordination and learning processes established for the grant.
    Cultivate supportive and collaborative working relationships with the participating women-centred organisations and with other local actors that are co-leading coordination mechanisms across multiple contexts, including through facilitation of peer-to-peer exchanges in collaboration with the GBV AoR Coordination Team.
    Consult and coordinate closely with the GBV AoR coordination team, GBV sub-cluster coordinators, Regional Emergency GBV Advisors (REGAs), the GBV Minimum Standards Task Team and the membership of other relevant platforms, such as the Global Protection Cluster and the Call to Action on Protection from Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies.

    Finance Duties:

    Process the daily financial needs for the Trócaire Global Support Office.
    Work closely with all GSO teams on financial planning to ensure the funds are always available for implementation of activities.
    Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly GSO financial reports and ensuring that expenditure is incurred within the budget limits and following financial procedures.

    The Finance department is responsible for ensuring sound management of the financial resources entrusted to the Global Support Office (GSO) and to ensure that there are effective procedures in place to facilitate internal controls and accountability of funds to all stakeholders including the local partners. The Finance function is crucial and vital for the successful implementation of programme activities and the attainment of Trócaire’s mandate.
    The Finance and Administration Intern will have a role in ensuring that support activities at the GSO and field offices are conducted with efficiency, within budget parameters and in accordance with Trocaire Somalia Programme policies and procedures. S/he will work in close collaboration with the GSO Finance and administration staff, and Programme support staff in Somalia to achieve the highest efficiency possible.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Act as the chief online learning developer for Trócaire’s Global Hub on Partnership and Localisation, developing methods, processes and guides to support the creation of resources.
    Serve as an organisational Focal Point for Trócaire with the service provider of Trócaire’s external learning platform, Fabo.
    Familiarize oneself with Fabo and develop expertise in content creation using this platform.
    Create high quality and creative digital content on the Fabo platform, in collaboration with Trócaire staff and partners.
    Provide expert advice and guidance on digital content creation and learning to Trócaire staff and partners.
    Train Trócaire staff and partners on the use of the learning platform.
    Work with the Global Hub on Partnership and Localisation and Fabo to ensure that digital content is accessible to all users and that the platform offers an excellent user experience.
    Receive and act on feedback to improve the platform user experience on an ongoing basis.
    Provide timely responses and support to Trócaire staff or partners facing challenge in relation to the use of the platform.
    Support with the evaluation of the impact of learning resources, providing regular metrics and insights that will feed into reports produced by the Global Hub.
    Develop digital communications resources for Trócaire’s Global Hub on Partnership & Localisation.
    Provide virtual support for online conference/webinars held by the Global Hub on Partnership & Localisation.
    Carry out the responsibilities of the role in a way which reflects Trócaire’s commitment to the General Data Protection Regulation.
    Any other reasonable and relevant area of work, depending on the emerging needs.

    Requirements
    Person Specification – Essential Requirements
    Qualification

    An undergraduate degree in a related field.

    Experience

    Experience of eLearning tools and platforms.
    Graphic design experience is a plus.
    Skilled user of content creation tools.

    High degree of business and people acumen and ability to demonstrate presence and credibility across the organisation.
    Excellent interpersonal, teamworking and communication skills in order to work with a wide range of people both internally, externally and globally.

    Strong time management skills.
    Fluency (written and spoken) in English. French and/or Spanish skills are a plus.
