    The objective of the Customer Success Executive (CSE) is to maximize customer retention and success while driving operational excellence to make sure that the customers realize the full value of their cloud investment along the customer lifecycle, working closely with the Oracle Key Account Director/ Strategic Client Executive, who is having the overall responsibility for the account. The CSE works alongside both IT as well as Business Senior Management at the customer, leading pillar CSM teams in the delivery and continuous improvement of large scale transformational cloud projects.  In this role you will act as an enabler and trusted advisor to the customer to ensure they remain successful and engaged with their entire Cloud solution so they understand the full value of their investment with Oracle. As part of the role you will continuously improve on your network and internal relationships, working closely with sales, implementation success managers and customer success managers to enable further adoption of Oracle products within your customers.
    The CSE will also be responsible for delivering consistent, adherent and diligent collaboration with the internal stakeholder team, including the relevant Customer Success Mangers (CSM), to ensure pro-active in delivery of value to your customers. You will work collaboratively with them to deliver activities that fit with the strategic direction of the customer over the entire cloud estate.  Teamwork and regular communication between you both is fundamental to delivering the overall objective to the customer.
    The role requires a strong background in technology (ideally IT Cloud Operations, Software Development, Software Lifecycle Management or alike) as well as upwardly facing stakeholder management skills. The CSE needs to understand the different roles people play across the whole software and customer lifecycle and be able to lead teams in the delivery and operational set up and continuous improvement of large scale transformational cloud projects.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    Develop a deep understanding of customers’ Cloud strategy and business objectives and drive use of the Cloud applications to help them achieve those objectives across all cloud pillars.
    Collaborate with the Account Director, relevant CSMs and broader account team to develop and deliver an overall account strategy and plan for the customer, that directs company resources to encourage renewal and return of investment cross pillar.
    Regularly provide visibility of account at an executive level both internally and externally, defining progress against customers’ business objectives; any metrics that define success to the customer (ROI); and identifying risks and appropriate mitigations.
    Develop and maintain a continuous close relationship with the relevant Key Account Director(s) throughout the customer lifecycle.
    Act as an Oracle Executive point of contact for customer, supporting them in the transformation with the help of relevant teams from Oracle. Develop a strong relationship with the senior leadership in your customer on a technical and business level, and assist them to drive Cloud Adoption.
    Coordinate cross pillar activities across the account to ensure significant milestones for your customer such as upgrades, new releases and new features are managed effectively and with no adverse impact on co-existing pillars and identifying lessons learnt for future milestones within or across pillar.
    Support the CSMs in their role acting as a ‘coach’ in working effectively with the customers support service to ensure it is being effective for enhancement requests and escalations.
    Deliver regular business reviews and success plans to senior executives and key business stakeholders. Be the customers strategic expert to share industry trends, best practices, competitive insights and product roadmap.
    Support the CSM in promoting and educating customers on the resources and wider customer communities available to the customer. These are the forums which will encourage engagement, drive future projects forward and optimal utilization.
    Support the CSMs in collaborating with Oracle’s Reference team to ensure ‘reference fatigue’ is avoided and customers can take advantage of our reference program.
    Facilitate relationships across various customer teams, brands, and/or departments to further strengthen Oracle’s partnership with customers.
    Engage with customers to do regular value realization assessments and advise on optimal utilization of their investment in Oracle Cloud.
    Understand the value of the internal Oracle processes and tools available to assist your search for answers and for pro-active planning.

    Strategic Programs Leader for Technology Software

    Preferred Qualifications 
    We are looking for the person to become the Strategic Programs Leader for Technology Software EMEA.
    This professional should work very closely with the EMEA Tech Software Sales and TSE Leaders to agree and organise the Go to Market support through productive and meaningful business development initiatives, and to take the lead and advise.
    This Leader Strategic Programs Leader will report to Jason Rees, VP Software Engineering and Head of Software Sales Programs EMEA. They will manage an EMEA team of Technology Software Business Development specialists. That team works closely to Product Marketing, Product Development, OSPA, Field Marketing and the EMEA Experts & Specialists teams, to ensure the Software sales team have appropriate sales assets, sales enablement, sales campaigns, and demand generation tools to generate and progress Software Pipeline.
    The EMEA Strategic Programs Leader will act as the ambassador with the Oracle corporate stakeholders and other EMEA & Divisional teams, focusing particularly on Data Management, Hybrid and Multi cloud deployment choices.
    Scope of the role:

    Help sales teams sell more and faster Software Components by ensuring their enablement and keeping their focus on key themes and sales plays.
    Create demand through powerful content embedded into sales plays working very closely with Product Marketing and EMEA Regions and all relevant LOBs to provide right assets to the sellers for successful positioning and customer outcomes.
    Drive initiatives, activities and campaigns to raise awareness and deliver dem-gen for Oracle Technology Software with customers, partners, and by fostering communities.
    Act as the advocate and evangelist for the technologies embedded in Software sales plays.
    Drive go-to-market conversations and propositions.

    The successful candidate will (through his/her team)

    Be responsible for development, execution, and governance of programmatic go to market initiatives from his/her team.
    Organise knowledge & expertise sharing and coaching activities on the Software technologies in synch with TSE ecosystem.
    Work closely with Marketing, increase awareness on Oracle Data Management market leadership and capitalise on mainstream Marketing investments, for customers and partner programs.
    Work closely with Regional/Local marketing and business development to build specific demand generation initiatives and targeted sales plays driven campaigns for license business.
    Monitor, review and measure sales initiatives and activities, alongside business operations.
    Support sales cycle with right resources and engagements from the extended BDM community
    Identify, maintain, and deploy an internal network of people who can support achievement of plans.
    Works across all other Lines of Business (LoBs) and fosters XLoB relationships.
    Strong team and employee leadership, operating in line with Oracle’s HR policies and procedures.

    Required Skills

    5-6 years on Leadership positions on business development, solution selling or sale consulting expertise.
    Strong background and expertise in technology.
    A broad understanding of business and IT trends and how they relate to current business challenges.
    Strong business (sales) acumen.
    Strong influencing and coaching skills to work with senior sales leaders to drive adoption.
    Experience of driving and owning go-to-market campaigns and propositions.
    Experience in conducting customer and partner engagements.
    Strong communication skills – including strong presentation skills.
    Experience of Oracle’s systems and tools that can drive efficient campaign execution and to provide sales oversight in reporting.
    Having a proven people network across Oracle, including EMEA and Product Teams or the ability to build one quickly
    Ability to travel 50% of the time to different locations in EMEA is required.

    Responsible for delivering LMS services through direct or remote engagements at Customers
    Scope

    Works with Sales, Sales Management and other GLAS teams
    Works with the Deal Management, Approval Teams, Legal, Revenue Recognition and Support organizations
    Reports to functional manager
    Works in assigned territory
    Mentors newcomers and peers

    Responsibilities

    Builds relationship with sales and sales leaders in order to establish joint business plans on assigned territory, to increase the share of LMS and facilitate engagement progress.
    Identifies and qualifies Customers for assigned territory where compliance needs to be ensured.
    Provides guidance and advice to ensure compliance for the customer, for existing and new planned environments.
    Establishes engagement strategy on qualified accounts with sales.
    Performs complex LMS engagements aligned to LMS defined service processes.
    Drives progress of LMS engagements & resolution of compliance issues, leveraging sales when needed.
    Delivers information to Sales and Customers on Oracle licensing compliance to enhance knowledge and understanding.
    Develops expertise in contractual agreements, licensing policies, measurement analysis, compliance and SAM in order to address the complexity of Customers and/or Partners architectures and breadth of products.
    Supports the promotion of licensing policies and LMS Services internally and externally.
    Contributes to cross-team projects aimed at increasing the sharing of best practices and the efficiency of LMS processes.
    Mentors newcomers during on-boarding.
    Support peers in acquiring experience (e.g. Customer facing situations, new products, new processes), with support in international escalations, for complex situations
    Represent Oracle LMS at external events
    Acts as SPOC for LMS EMEA and business stakeholders on compliance and Oracle IP related matters, working closely with our strategic customers.
    Handles ambiguity effectively managing complex situations by addressing conflict in an easy to understand manner dealing directly with CX level
    Works across different global boundaries dealing with different cultures. Provides balanced judgement and demonstrates strong leadership skills when resolving conflict.
    Participation in account planning

    Qualification

    University degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience
    5-8 years customer facing experience in IT/asset management consulting, audit or customer management and understanding of the software industry is preferred
    Fluent English, (French, Portuguese might be supporting, but not mandatory)
    Experience working in a dynamic environment, balancing challenging workloads and deadlines with attention to deliverables
    Proactive, dynamic, and able to identify and deliver quality work even when unsupervised
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Be able to understand impact of Technical Infrastructures of customers’ Installations and correlate to Contractual Metrics.
