    Reporting to the Manager/ICT Infrastructure and Support the position will be responsible for administration of enterprise servers, management of computer hardware, installations and repairs.
    Key Responsibilities

    Monitor systems’ alerts and reports on servers.
    Management of Oracle VM Manager, VMware VSphere, and SAN storage.
    Management of Server virtualization for scalability, high availability and easier network management.
    Management and Administration of Domain Policies, Security and Administration of Active directory and Mail system.
    Handle diagnosis, Configuration and deployment of Servers, client PCs
    Provide hardware specifications for servers, computers and printer hardware.
    Train employees on Desktop software applications including the banking software.
    First level support through speedy diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolving of server and client issues.
    Receive, inspect and test equipment’s for repairs to and from repair.
    Deployment and maintenance of the corporate Antivirus engine.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
    Professional qualification on MCSE, MCP, A+ or related fields.
    Training on Virtualisation environment using VMware or / and Oracle VM.
    At least three years’ experience in a busy similar environment
    Working in a virtualised environment will be an added advantage.

    Information Systems Security Assistant Job Responsibilities
    Monitoring access to all systems and maintaining access control profiles on computer network and systems.
    Development and implementation of Business Continuity Plans.
    Identifying and assessing ICT security risk/exposure to new and existing infrastructure.
    Investigating and recommending appropriate corrective actions for ICT security incidents.
    Developing and maintaining security policies, controls and their compliance.
    Analyzing security incidents and the escalation of security events.
    Discovering vulnerabilities in the Bank’s information systems.
    Qualifications for the Information Systems Security Assistant Job
    Bachelor’s degree in ICT or closely related discipline.
    Should be a certified CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent certification.
    Knowledge of Banking and ERP systems.
    Knowledge of Unix, Linux , Windows, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Platforms
    Good communications skills.
    Strong knowledge of regulatory policies and their interpretation and applicability in a banking setup
    5 years’ work experience, 2 of which should be technical experience in development and implementation of ICT security policy in a sound corporate environment.

    The training will provide the trainees with an opportunity to:

    Gain a comprehensive appreciation of the critical perspectives and challenges in the ICT department with a view to developing innovative solutions to meet the Bank’s business needs.
    Monitor system performance activities and manage parameters to provide fast query responses to ‘front end’ users.
    Develop and map out the ‘conceptual design’ for planned database in outline.
    Gain knowledge on installation and testing new versions of the Database Management Systems (DMS).
    Gain knowledge in writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary.
    Be exposed to developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans.
    Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
    Obtain knowledge on maintenance of the Bank’s Website and other Web Based applications.
    Manage the existing integrations and develop new system interfaces.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

    Position Function: Reporting to the office of the Manager, Systems & Alternate Channels, the position is responsible for ensuring proper and effective systems analysis and design, for maintenance of efficient business application systems.
    Key Responsibilities

    Establish the overall structure for the whole system.
    Design new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications and making appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness
    Cover aspects of the system such as the component structure, the function modularity, the deployment and the interface with other systems.
    Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project product/service lifecycle
    Test critical programs in order to test their functionalities.
    Carryout System scoping and Identify System resources.
    Coordinate outsourced relationship for 3rd party application development and programming consultants.
    Maintain computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
    Supervise, appraise, guide mentor and train staff while ensuring maximum staff productivity.

    Qualifications

    B.SC in Computer science or an equivalent degree course.
    Development of Oracle applications, use of PL/SQL
    DBA skills using MSQL and Oracle RDMBS
    Proficiency in programming languages like HTML5, C, C++, iOS, Java, Objective-C. etc. is the main qualification. Basic knowledge of interface design and development will be an added advantage.
    Web service technologies, specifically REST APIs, Service oriented designs and technologies (AJAX. XML/JSON).
    Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    Experience on Electronic transacting Platform (switch)
    Experience on Mobile Banking Gateways.

    Terms of Service and Remuneration: The appointments will be for a contractual period of three years, renewable for a similar period of time subject to satisfactory performance and delivery of set performance targets and outcomes.
