    The holder of this position will be reporting to the Clinical Officer in- Charge and will be required on a part time basis, in the evening from 4.00 – 8.30 pm to provide nursing care to patients, attend to medical emergencies, accompany referred patients and administer prescribed medications.
    He/she will ensure that all required observations, prescribed treatment and procedures are properly carried out in accordance with nursing standards.
    Nurse Job Key Responsibilities
    Treat patients and observation of vital signs.
    Maintain medical records
    Observe and monitor patients’ conditions.
    Offer medical advice to clients
    Assist in surgical procedures and dressing of wounds
    Referral (where necessary) of medical emergencies
    Accompany patients to hospitals upon referral.
    General housekeeping of the clinic – maintaining proper hygiene standards
    Assist in preparation/pre-packaging of first aid kits.
    Administering drugs as needed
    Assist in monthly stock take
    Billing and sending of monthly insurance invoices.
    Qualifications for the Nurse Job
    Diploma in Nursing from an accredited medical training institution
    Kenya Registered Nurse/Kenya Registered Community Nurse
    Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
    3 years’ proven experience in a busy health Centre, Level 4 or Mission Hospital(Preference will be given to a candidate with experience in a university setting)

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Spearhead the communication and publicity agenda.
    Create the editorial content and delivery of a quarterly Aspire university magazine.
    Create and manage the publicity of the university both to the internal and external publics.
    Develop relevant content for owned channels.
    Support internal and external university launches and events.
    Develop and implement communication material in the form of articles, media content, speeches, website copy and social media content that engages the target market.
    Identify and develop news stories from within the organization.

    Education and Experience
    Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or its equivalent.
    At least 5 years demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective public relations and communications strategies.
    Technical Competencies
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to tell a story in a compelling manner.
    Experience in producing technical promotional materials
    Ability to effectively interact and relate with all stakeholders
    Understanding of traditional and social media landscapes
    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Job Responsibilities
    As the Senior Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible to the Dean of Students for the following duties:

    Perform a variety of administrative duties in the Student Welfare Office
    Manage 360 degrees on campus experience of international students including pupils pass, visas, orientation and general welfare
    Guide and instruct students in appropriate behavior including advising and resolving communal problems
    Document all reported disciplinary cases for appropriate action and assist in the implementation of the ANU Students Code of Conduct at the University
    Help in planning campus students Council activities including oversight of student electoral process and government
    Coordinate University mentoring programme
    Help in coordinating orientation programme for new students in the Campus
    Assists in planning and budgeting in the student welfare department
    Assist in coordination of on campus accommodation and coordination of alternative accommodation service
    Any other duties as may be assigned

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from a recognized University. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
    At least 3 years working experience with students in an institution of higher learning.
    Knowledge and understanding of organization goals and objectives, policies and procedures.
    Ability to establish and maintain working relationships, present information and respond to questions from students, student leaders, staff and general public
