    Purpose Of The Position
    To plan, implement, monitor and document all the (Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration) FMNR Project activities within the designated project sites in Baringo, Nakuru and Elgeyo Marakwet Counties as per the proposal. Provide necessary technical support, related training, follow-up, and guidance to the staff and farmers youth and women groups under FMNR and provide feedback and reports to the Project manager and Cluster manager including NO as when required.
    In order to successfully do so, the project officer – FMNR Project must be able to effectively Communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
    Major Responsibilities
    Project Implementation and Monitoring
    Responsible for the in the implementation of the all activities in the FMNR project
    Train the partners, selected groups and community members on the various recommended focal areas (FMNR, Climate smart agriculture, Sustainable energy options, soil and water conservation, advocacy and policy influence etc).
    Contribute to effective and timely implementation of all FMNR level interventions and initiatives with communities and partners;
    Provide supervision to – Community Mobilizer – and effectively manage performance – to ensure FMNR project objectives are met
    Ensure that all FMNR initiatives within the project’s area of influence meet or exceed planned outcomes and are implemented in full compliance with the projects guidelines;
    Collaborate with Project manager, Regional M & E and Capacity Building Coordinator, and the Technical Specialist – Environment and Climate Change to effectively support the project to carry out all measurements – baselines, assessments, designs, monitoring and evaluations – in accordance with WV established standards, policies and procedures;
    Coordinate with the Project manager and Regional M & E Coordinator to ensure that appropriate controls, monitoring and evaluation tools are in place and being utilized in a timely manner in every FMNR measurement ,
    Support the ADP’s with FMNR project and region in the event of any disaster and/or crisis response when called upon to do so;
    Monitor and support the timely and appropriate utilization of budgeted resources for all FMNR related project interventions as well as ensure effective and timely response plans to all financial audit findings of FMNR initiatives and take the needed measures to prevent such findings from recurring in the future;
    Conduct on site FMNR trainings.
    Organize and coordinate farmers FMNR exposure tours
    Support community/ Farmers Capacity building on alternative livelihood options.
    Participate in proposal development and resource mobilization.
    Reporting and Documentation
    Compile the necessary monthly, quarterly and annual reports for forwarding to the Project manager and NO point person
    Attend the regular weekly and monthly planning meetings as called upon.
    Regularly document success stories/innovation for sharing across the partnership
    Develop context specific electronic and live media communications on FMNR and NRM activities.
    Ensure the Project design document is updated as per DME standards.
    Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
    The job holder must have at least a Degree in Natural Resource Management or Agro-forestry
    At least two years’ on job experience on Natural resource management or Agro-Forestry and with some experience on Agriculture.
    Experience working with NGOs will be an added advantage
    Must have a good understanding of the different systems of extension delivery.

    Purpose Of The Position

    Major Responsibilities

    Work closely with communications team and other partners to develop and produce corporate marketing material.

    Purpose of the position

    Major Responsibilities
    Planning, Coordination, Supervision and implementation
    Overall management of blanket supplementary feeding program (BSFP) site during distributions
    Provide integrated health and nutrition services (mass screening, immunization, deworming, vitamin A supplementation and treatment of minor illnesses or emergency referral of beneficiaries in BSFP according to MoH guidelines and protocols.
    Work closely with MoH and other partners to establish a referral mechanisms of both moderately and severely malnourished children to IMAM program.
    Work closely with the Project Officers/coordinator/MoH staff to request food commodities in time to ensure availability of BSFP commodities and other supplies required at BSFP site
    Responsible for ordering, storage, accountability of medical drugs during Blanket supplementary feeding
    Collaborate with Ministry of health to identify Community Health Volunteers to work with at the BSFP sites
    Enroll validated beneficiaries into the Last Mile Mobile Solution (LMMS) system.
    Support the Project Officer/Coordinator with field logistics
    Monitoring and Reporting
    Prepare list of children referred to Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition sites.
    Monitoring of beneficiaries in BSFP to ensure appropriate weight gain.
    To ensure program reporting protocols are implemented according to World Food Program BSFP strategy/ guidelines and World Vision Commodity Management guidelines.
    Consolidate/ summarize routine data and reports for timely submission to the coordinator.
    Preparation of progress reports, stocks and program reports according to UNICEF, WFP and WV requirements.
    Facilitate community awareness of project ownership and sustainability
    Plan tracking for key Child Well Being indicators of strategic relevance from secondary and primary data, with partners and communities.
    Collect any monitoring data with community members in a collaborative and systematic fashion.
    Support in the supervision of community-based monitoring activities, as necessary in the programme context.
    Provide proper documentation of any commodity loses.
    Report on any incidences touching on security at the distribution centers.
    Capacity Building
    Train and Mentor Community Health Volunteers, screeners and other staff supporting BSFP site to ensure delivery of quality deliver health and nutrition services.
    Commodity Management and Reporting
    Ensure that all commodities delivered at the FDP are properly accounted for based on the approved distribution plan.
    Conduct prior mobilization of community members/health facility staff to ensure food commodities are received and kept in safe custody
    In collaboration with community health volunteers and casual distribute pre-packed food commodities to beneficiaries
    Monitor commodity movements, including delivery of commodities and Non Food Items at the Final Distribution Point.
    In liaison with CHVs oversee receipt/offloading by the off loaders to ensure correctness of quantity, content and quality as per the waybill. Ascertain signatures on the waybills documents as well as losses and damages, and excesses. In case of damage arrange for reconstitution.
    Schedule food commodity distribution dates in collaboration with health facilities and other stakeholders and ensure communication reaches the beneficiaries.
    Stakeholders Engagement
    Engagement with Ministry of health and field level as shall be required and provide Government authorities, UNICEF, WFP and other stakeholders with information regarding beneficiary registration, commodity/food distribution plans, and project progress.
    Identify and report on other needs that need attention by other stakeholders

    Diploma in Nursing or clinical medicine
    At least 2 years’ experience in health programming project of similar size.
    Experience in collecting data management

    Major Responsibilities
    LMMS/CTS System operation:
    Oversee wireless connectivity issues between mobile devices and roaming servers in field operations, troubleshooting where necessary.
    Ensures correct functioning of LMMS in beneficiary registration, enrollment, household updates and commodity distribution activities.
    Ensure Safety of data collected in the field; maintain backups and encryption of laptop data when required.
    Support in the administration LMMS/CTS system users within the project.

    Collect and keep all the receipts and dispatch summary, truck inspection reports, loss reports, physical inventory, warehouse inspection report, distribution summaries and distribution center visit reports.
    Track key CWB indicators of strategic relevance from secondary and primary data available.
    Ensure real-time monitoring and appropriate data storage so that local programming data is readily available at times

    Coordination and collaboration
    Work closely with the global LMMS/CTS Support personnel in all aspects of the technology readiness and rollout, in addition to providing feedback to, and receiving technical instructions from, the FAIR Coordinator on IT upgrades, maintenance and new developments
    Participate in fora of IT support staff for LMMS/CTS for sharing common experiences and troubleshooting technical challenges.
    Capacity Building
    Participate in capacity development initiatives for field staff to ensure adequate LMMS/CTS coverage.
    Support FAIR Officer to provide training to other Food Assistance staff
