    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Under the direct supervision of the Senior Logistics Associate and overall supervision of the Logistics Officer, the incumbent

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Description: The selected candidate will report to the Head of VAM and M&E and will be assisting the WFP Programme Unit (PU) with the following key duties:

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Transfer Management Team is responsible for the management of all transfers (cash, vouchers and in-kind) to beneficiaries through the SCOPE platform, as well as coordination with external stakeholders on cash-based programming. In this context, the Programme Policy Officer will report directly to the head of the WFP transfer management team and will have a dual responsibility:

    Co-lead the inter-agency Cash Working Group (CWG) on behalf of WFP, and
    Work with the Somalia Country Office as part of the Transfer Management Team, to support the WFP cash operation implementation.

    Responsibilities

    Deployment project plans consistent with the policies and standards of the Technology Division (TEC):

    Qualifications & Experience Required
    Education:
    University degree in Computer Science, engineering or other relevant field
    Experience:

    At least 5 years of work experience;
    Participation in the analysis and re-design of business processes or applications;
    Coordination and management of small or medium projects at HQ and field offices;
    Assistance in change management procedures, activities and processes at HQ or field offices;
    Experience implementing IT systems or data solutions in support of smallholder farmers, school meals, service provision, retail, or beneficiaries and/or partners and governments in general, preferably in the humanitarian sector;
    Proven record of working with clients to lead the delivery of digital solutions from idea through to scale, preferably in the humanitarian sector.

    Technical Skills & Knowledge:

    JOB PURPOSE
    To collect, analyse and report on information to maximise efficiency of the logistics operations and activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Manage Landside Transport Storage and Handling (LTSH) / Supply Chain cost planning efforts in the Country Office;
