    Responsibilities
    Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns
    Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites
    Monitor ongoing campaign spend against budgets, keeping accurate records and highlighting any variances
    Assisting in the production of competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion
    Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
    Actively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
    Set up meetings with potential customers, negotiate the terms of an agreement and close business deals
    Prepare and deliver proposals and quotations to potential customers
    Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
    Participate on behalf of the company in trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
    Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
    Collaborate with team to achieve better results
    Requirements of the role
    Proven experience in business development for a construction company
    Proficiency in English and Kiswahili
    Strong project management/organisational skills
    Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse data and spot trends
    Understanding of customer segmentation
    Diploma in Marketing or any relevant field
