  • Senior Finance Officer

    Job objective

    As the Senior Finance Officer, your main responsibility is to coordinate and oversee the Managers performance through Budgeting and forecasting formulation, Cash flow management. Also, in view of streamlining the company operations, will spear head in preparation of management accounts on quarterly basis to be presented to the senior management, carry out the Internal Audit activities, Coordination of External Auditors and preparation of Annual Financial Statements drafts.

    Formulate financial Budgets Based on historical data and other factors affecting the company operations. Will ensure that budgets formulated are adhered to strictly. Any deviation to be explained and accounted for
    Preparation of sale forecasting based on historical data and projection provided.
    Preparation of cash flow projection for both cash Inflow and cash outflow. 
    Keep track on the spending and ensure the company cash flows within the projections.
    Coordinate Management accounts preparation.
    The Management accounts to be done and presented within the deadlines set.
    Monitoring system flow of all the company operations.
    Check and Balances of the company transactions and ensure accuracy of the transactions.
    Formulation and review of the existing Company SOP’s and SSOP’s
    Risk Assessment and Management.
    Manage the company internal controls.
    Coordinating external Auditors during the Audit period, preparation of Audit schedules, drafts of Annual Financial Statements.
    Coordinating KRA audits and other requirements.
    Ensure that the company adheres to all the statutory requirements as mandated.
    Tax advisor, liase with KRA on matters of Tax advisory
    Conduct Crop on Ground Management.
    In charge of company reports, including, Annual Budget and Forecast projection Reports, Cash Flow Reports, Management Report, Internal Audit reports, External audit Reports and Crop on Ground Report as required

    Your profile

    Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    Professional qualifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or equivalent.
    A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and accounting, preferably in the agricultural or manufacturing industry.
    Proven experience in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
    Hands-on experience with internal controls, risk management, and statutory compliance.
    Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
